Figure Skating: Waltz on Ice

Chapter 47 Departure

Du Liangchen, bored on his long-haul flight, looked around. Hao Shuxue was sitting next to him.

"Siri, are you excited?"

Looking at Hao Shuxue's excited face, Du Liangchen smiled helplessly.

"If it were just for fun, I would be quite excited. But right now I'm just nervous."

"Don't worry, I'm here with you."

Hao Shuxue took out a candy box from his pocket.

"Hey~ Take one when you're nervous, it'll make you feel a lot better."

Du Liangchen watched as Hao Shuxue handed him the candy box, reached out and took one, putting it in his mouth. The sweet taste made Du Liangchen squint his eyes slightly.

Hao Shuxue: "How is it?"

Du Liangchen nodded: "Much better, thank you."

Hao Shuxue: "We're practically family! Why are you being so polite?"

Soon the flight attendants reminded everyone to fasten their seatbelts before the plane took off.

Du Liangchen and Hao Shuxue chatted for a while, and then the plane began to quiet down, so the two decided to take a nap.

After sleeping for an unknown amount of time, the staff on the plane started distributing food, waking many people up, including Du Liangchen.

"Siri, you're awake! The plane is serving food now. What would you like to eat?"

"I don't have much of an appetite. Which one do you choose? I'll just pick the same one as yours."

Du Liangchen frowned and spoke weakly. Hao Shuxue assumed he hadn't slept well and had been woken up, so he handed him a bottle of water.

"Drink some water to wake yourself up."

"Hmm~"

Du Liangchen took the water but didn't open it or drink it.

Soon, the staff came to their row. Hao Shuxue handed him a meal, and Du Liangchen raised the back of his chair and began to eat.

Du Liangchen ate a few mouthfuls of rice and then put down his chopsticks. Hao Shuxue, who was standing next to him, asked worriedly:

"Why aren't you eating? Don't you like the food? Don't you have an appetite?"

Du Liangchen said in a hoarse voice, "Hmm~ I can't eat. I must not be fully awake. I'll sleep a little longer and then eat."

"Then you go to sleep. Cover yourself with this." Hao Shuxue handed his coat to Du Liangchen.

"Hmm~"

Du Liangchen agreed, then lowered his chair and closed his eyes.

Du Liangchen was in a daze and didn't know how long he had slept. He felt dizzy and had a lot of pain in his head. His stomach was also uncomfortable, and he felt nauseous and dry heaving.

Du Liangchen covered his mouth and squeezed out.

Hao Shuxue and everyone in this row were woken up by Du Liangchen.

Hao Shuxue asked with concern, "What's wrong, Sirui?"

Du Liangchen covered his mouth, trying to suppress the nausea, and mumbled, "I feel like throwing up."

Du Liangchen finally rushed into the bathroom, with Hao Shuxue following behind him.

"Yue~ cough cough..."

The noise attracted the flight attendants.

"What's wrong? Passenger, are you alright?"

Hao Shuxue patted Du Liangchen's back nervously and said to the staff, "My friend is feeling unwell. He said he feels like vomiting."

The two staff members exchanged a glance and guessed, "Is he airsick?"

Have you ever flown before?

Du Liangchen answered with difficulty, "No."

"What should we do? I didn't prepare any motion sickness medication," Hao Shuxue said nervously.

"What's wrong? Xiao Chen, what happened at the academy?" At this moment, the coach leading the two of them came over.

He had just fallen asleep when he was woken up by a noise. He looked at the seats of Du Liangchen and the others in the back row and found that neither of them was there. He was startled and quickly shook the other coach up so that they could search for them separately.
