Figure Skating: Waltz on Ice

Du Liangchen felt a surge of anger whenever he thought about their retreating figures as they quickly left with the barbecue grill.

Mei Jing poked his puffed-up cheek. Du Liangchen didn't expect him to do that, and the air in his mouth was poked out.

"Pfft~"

"Ha ha ha ha......!"

Du Liangchen was stunned for a moment, his ears turning red instantly. Seeing him laughing so hard he couldn't stand up straight, he reached out and slapped him, frowning as he said, "What are you doing!"

Amidst their playful banter, the phone rang; the takeout had arrived. Mei Jing put on her coat and went to pick it up.

Du Liangchen finally got to eat the barbecue he had been craving.

Mei Jing, standing beside him, couldn't help but feel soft-hearted as she watched him eat and sway his head.

When I saw that he couldn't use his hands to remove the meat from the skewer, I peeled the meat off the skewer and fed it to him little by little with chopsticks.

Seeing that Mei Jing was only focused on feeding herself, she pointed to the vegetable rolls and said, "Hmm~ Don't just feed me, you should eat too."

"You can't eat meat, but you can eat something else. They ordered it for you over there. It has chili peppers on it, which you like."

"Ouch! It's so spicy, cough cough cough..." Mei Jing took a bite and coughed from the spiciness of the chili. She had to drink some water to feel better.

Du Liangchen stopped chewing and asked in confusion, "Don't you love spicy food the most? How come it's so spicy that your eyes are red?"

Mei Jing drank a glass of water to suppress the spiciness in her mouth. "I haven't eaten spicy food in a long time, so I can't accept it right away."

"Don't eat those. This one doesn't have chili peppers. Eat this one." Du Liangchen reached out to take the one without chili peppers, but almost knocked the skewer to the ground.

"Don't move, be careful with your hand!" Mei Jing grabbed his wrist. "I'll do it, I can do it myself."

After craving barbecue for so long, Du Liangchen ate a few skewers and couldn't eat anymore, so he leaned back on the sofa contentedly.

There was a lot left on the table, and Mei Jing, not wanting to waste it, packed up the clean, untouched items and headed towards Wang Chenghao's room.

"Bang, bang!"

"Who is it? Here we come!"

Liu Yu had just finished showering and was drying her wet hair when she opened the door. Seeing Mei Jing, she stepped aside and said, "Brother Jing, it's you! Come in quickly!"

"No, I brought you some food. You and Cheng Hao can eat it." Mei Jing said, handing him the bag in her hand.

Liu Yu took the bag. "Barbecue! Thanks, Brother Jing."

Mei Jing: "No need to thank me. Your brother Chen and I ordered too much takeout. I'm just glad you don't mind."

"Brother Chen? Brother Chen is back!" Liu Yu asked in surprise.

Everyone in the team knew about Du Liangchen's car accident. He was supposed to rest for a few days before returning, but now they're telling him that he came back to the team the day after he returned to China. No wonder Liu Yu was surprised.

"Shh, keep your voice down, you'll disturb others." Mei Jing looked around to make sure no one came out of the other rooms, then continued, "He's back tonight."

Liu Yu said with concern, "Then, Wang Chenghao and I will go see Brother Chen in a little while."

Mei Jing: "Your brother Chen is already resting, so don't bother him. You can go see him tomorrow at noon if you want. I'm going back now."

Liu Yu: "Okay then, thanks for the late-night snack, Brother Jing."

After Mei Jing returned, she went to the refrigerator, took a bottle of yogurt, sat down next to Du Liangchen, opened the yogurt, and handed it to him: "Drink a bottle of yogurt to aid digestion."

"You're back!" Du Liangchen rested her head naturally on his shoulder, refusing the bottle offered to her. "No, I don't want to drink right now."
