Figure Skating: Waltz on Ice

After traveling for several hours, Du Liangchen and his uncle got off the bus in the early hours of the morning.

After exiting the station, they found that there were too many people and they missed their taxi. The two of them, feeling drowsy, stood in the wind and waited for half an hour before a car finally arrived.

Back at the team, Du Liangchen squinted as he walked toward his room.

"Brother Chen!"

When Du Liangchen heard someone call his name, he subconsciously looked up and saw a cute boy standing in front of him, wearing a Pikachu cartoon shirt and holding snacks. The boy looked at him with surprise in his clear eyes.

"It really is Brother Chen, you're back too!" He said, looking Li Xian up and down. He noticed Li Xian's half-open eyes, which lacked their usual energy and were blinking as he tried to open them. His slumped shoulders were no longer as upright as before, and he was swaying as he carried a bag. He looked like he hadn't slept for days, which startled the boy. He exclaimed in surprise, "Wait, Brother, where did you go? You look so tired."

Du Liangchen forced himself to stay awake, and after looking at him several times, he finally remembered who he was. "Xiao Hao, you're back."

The boy in front of me, whose full name is Wang Chenghao, is a junior member of the national team who joined last year. He's thirteen years old this year and has achieved excellent results. His coach is Du Langxing, who is Du Liangchen's junior. He doesn't usually skate with the adult team members like Du Liangchen, so they rarely run into each other. However, he's always very enthusiastic when he sees them, and everyone on the team likes this sweet-talking kid.

"Brother Chen, let me help you with your bag. Why did you come back alone? Didn't Brother Jing come with you?" Wang Chenghao, being perceptive, took Du Liangchen's bag and looked behind Du Liangchen.

Du Liangchen rubbed his temples and walked towards his dormitory, saying in a hoarse voice, "He has something to do, he'll be back the day after tomorrow."

"Did the group chat notify you about the temporary return to the team?" Du Liangchen asked, glancing at his phone.

Upon hearing this, Wang Chenghao hung his head and said, "That's right. I was supposed to have a week's leave, but for some reason, I was notified to return to the team early a couple of days ago. My poor few days of leave are gone just like that."

Du Liangchen glanced at the date. "I told you to return to the team by the 5th, and to start training on the 6th, but it's only the 2nd now. Why are you back so early?"

Wang Chenghao stared blankly, only snapping out of his daze when Du Liangchen waved his hand in front of his face. His ears and cheeks instantly turned bright red, betraying his embarrassment.

Du Liangchen knew the child was embarrassed, so he stopped teasing him, after all, he was really tired.
