Figure Skating: Waltz on Ice

Thinking back to ten days ago when Mei Jing offered to go on "Longing for Life," and considering that just over two hours had passed since the incident, I received a call from Mei Jing. Even with the speed of online communication, I wouldn't have known so quickly if I hadn't been following Du Liangchen's activities.

Du Langxing shook his head. "Don't you think Mei Jing is being a little too overprotective of you?"

Du Liangchen tilted his head and thought for a moment, "Really? Aren't good friends just like family?"

"That makes sense." Du Langxing raised an eyebrow, urging him to continue eating, otherwise the noodles would clump together.

Du Liangchen lowered his head and continued eating, his mind replaying Du Langxing's ambiguous words. He wasn't a three-year-old; how could he not understand what his uncle meant? But he knew Mei Jing liked girls, so Du Langxing's worries were completely unnecessary.

The recording of the program took a whole day. When Du Liangchen and Du Langxing walked out of the building, they saw several messages from Mei Jing on their phones.

He typed a reply: "I just finished recording. Have you already set off?"

Du Langxing hailed a taxi and checked the high-speed rail tickets, finding that there were still trains available. "Xiao Chen, there are still high-speed trains going back. Shall we head back tonight, or wait until tomorrow?"

"still......"

Before Du Liangchen could finish speaking, He Ling's voice came from behind him. "Xiao Chen, Coach Du, how are you getting there? My car is outside, I can take you back to the hotel."

"Teacher Ho!"

Du Liangchen looked up from his phone screen and saw He Ling and the other guests who had just recorded the show with him walking over.

He Ling is the host of this program, and he's also a regular on many other shows, such as "Longing for Life," which Mei Jing will be participating in soon. He's a very famous host, as well as an actor and singer. He's approachable and gentle.

The guests following He Jiong are all currently popular rising stars, including actors, singers, and members of a very popular boy band.

Du Langxing said with a smile, "Teacher He, no need to trouble you, we have already arranged a car."

Seeing that it was already dark, after greeting the others, the car that Du Langxing had arranged arrived.

Du Langxing thought for a moment and said, "Then let's go back to the hotel. You've been recording all day, and you're not used to sleeping in unfamiliar beds, so you didn't get a good night's rest last night. It's better not to rush back so soon, or it will take you several days to recover."

Du Liangchen looked exhausted, leaned back in his chair, and said in a hoarse voice, "Let's go to the station. Even if we go back to the hotel, I'm afraid I won't be able to sleep tonight."

"I just got off the plane, and it's still hundreds of miles away from where the show is being filmed."

"Oh my god! I finally found the person from the production crew who was supposed to pick me up. He just told me there's no direct bus and I'll have to transfer twice. I don't know why they chose such a remote place. The person who came to pick me up said I'll also have to take a boat."

"It's a good thing you didn't come, otherwise you would have been half dead before you even arrived, given your airsickness and seasickness."

Hearing Mei Jing's complaints, Du Liangchen was amused by his funny tone. "Oh dear, that's terrible. I'll treat you to a meal when you get back, to reward you properly."
