When they went out to eat, they were recognized, but they both tacitly denied it.

Later, I met some fans and took a photo with them. Before leaving, I asked them not to post it online. Whether they listened or not is unknown.

Mei Jing was in charge of driving, while Du Liangchen took photos and recorded the scene.

The two decided not to stay at a hotel yet, because they had been recognized by fans that day, and if the photos were posted online, their itinerary for the next day would be exposed. So they found a place to camp.

We pitched a tent together and then made a fire for a barbecue.

The two sat outside, eating while gazing at the sky.

Du Liangchen exclaimed, "I've never seen the stars like this before. They're so beautiful!"

"It's been a long time since I've seen you. Here, have some hot water. The air is cool at night, so don't catch a cold." Mei Jing thoughtfully poured Du Liangchen a cup of hot water.

Du Liangchen took the water cup: "I feel like I've never been so relaxed before. I don't think about the results or the daily training. I just eat, drink, and have fun in a relaxed way."

Mei Jing nodded: "Yes, that's why I thought of going on a road trip so that no one could find me, and I could just relax and enjoy the scenery."

Suddenly Mei Jing stood up and said, "Wait for me, I'm going to get something from the car."

Du Liangchen was curious about what he was getting, but he didn't follow. He felt a bit greasy after eating so much meat, so he picked up some water and took a sip.

Mei Jing walked over carrying a box of things, and Du Liangchen's eyes lit up when he saw what was inside.

"You also bought fireworks, when was that?"

“While you were buying snacks,” Mei Jing said, putting the box on the ground. “I checked this place; it’s spacious enough to set off fireworks without causing a fire.”

Du Liangchen looked at him approvingly: "You've thought of everything."

Du Liangchen excitedly held up a large one: "I want to put this one."

"This is too big, you..." Mei Jing saw Du Liangchen's tense face, changed her attitude, and said in a gentle tone, "You've never set off fireworks before, let me do it. You take the photos. You know my photography skills aren't as good as yours, how about it?"

Du Liangchen, who initially felt rejected, suddenly stopped being angry after hearing Mei Jing's gentle words of comfort.

Du Liangchen prepared his camera, waiting for Mei Jing to light the fireworks. When he saw Mei Jing running towards him quickly, Du Liangchen was already filming him with his camera.

Soon Mei Jing ran to Du Liangchen's side. At that moment, the fireworks that Mei Jing lit in the distance soared into the sky, like magnificent jade tassels being released on a black curtain, or like blooming flowers, piercing through the darkness on the horizon, dazzling and breathtaking.

"Wow~ It's so beautiful, Mei Jing, let's take a picture together."

After the fireworks ended, Du Liangchen felt a bit cold. Mei Jing was worried that he might have difficulty breathing, so she asked him to come into the tent and said she would tidy up the things at the door.

"How can I let you do all the cleaning? I'm fine, don't make a fuss."

Du Liangchen said, picking up a bag to pack things.

"Hey? Don't push me!"

Mei Jing pushed him directly into the tent: "Listen to me, just stay in here. Put these things in bags and put them back in the car tomorrow. It's very simple, I can do it in a few minutes."

After Mei Jing entered the tent, Du Liangchen showed him the camera: "Look at what I just took. Fireworks are definitely easier to see when they're set off in an open space."

"Every year during the Spring Festival, I can only see the fireworks set off by other people's houses. I rarely see the ones I set off myself. They're either blocked by houses or trees."
