Chapter Two: Terrifying Desert Island

"Look, what's that?" Old Geda suddenly shouted. Everyone looked up and saw a huge vortex spreading towards them from the eleven o'clock position above the bow of the boat, accompanied by surging black clouds. Then, streaks of silver lightning flashed across the sky, and one dazzling golden lightning bolt suddenly appeared and shot towards their fishing boat...

"Ah..." Exclamations arose from all sides.

The boat captain shouted urgently, "Hold on tight! Put on your life jackets and fasten them properly! Don't run around..."

Thick fog enveloped the surroundings, dark clouds loomed overhead, and a massive black vortex was forming and expanding toward them from above, causing chaos on the ship.

Shangguan Yun was terrified. He hurriedly grabbed the tour guide flag that had fallen to the ground and waved it while shouting, "Students, don't run around! Calm down..."

"Crack..." A golden bolt of lightning struck Shangguan Yun's flagpole in an instant, resulting in a tragic outcome!

Time seemed to stand still for a moment. There was no sound around. Everyone seemed to see a shining gold and black skull flashing continuously at the bow of the ship, and then disappearing in a "whoosh".

A few seconds later, a strong wind arose, and the entire ship was lifted into the air and swept into the dark vortex, disappearing from sight. Then the clouds dispersed, the wind stopped, the sky brightened, and the fog gradually dissipated.

About an hour later, two speedboats appeared in the area, and over the next few hours, dozens of search and rescue vessels of various kinds searched the area continuously.

The results came out in the evening: one and a half fishing boats were missing, 29 people were rescued from the water, and 20 students were missing.

The strangest thing is that a fishing boat seemed to have been cut in half by something extremely sharp, and it still didn't sink even though it was only half left.

Even after rescuers arrived and pulled them out, several girls were still shouting, "Help them! They flew away, they flew away..."

The other fishing boat disappeared.

With no fishing boats visible within a hundred miles, the coastal defense department immediately reported to its superiors. As a result, the matter was forbidden from being publicized and classified as highly confidential. Relevant personnel were taken back for investigation and verification, while the half-destroyed fishing boat was towed away by the military for research.

So, where did that half-fishing boat go? Did it really just vanish into thin air? The answer is... they time-traveled!!! They just don't know it yet...

Indeed, at that critical moment, everyone in the storm thought they were doomed.

When disaster strikes, one is like a rootless leaf or a floating duckweed, forced to drift with the wind, unable to maintain even the slightest balance.

A sudden wave of dizziness caused many students to lose consciousness. Some simply closed their eyes tightly, covered their heads with their hands, and fell into the black vortex, disappearing without a trace. Then, everything returned to calm, as if nothing had happened.

"Ugh... Ouch... That hurts, cough cough... Ugh... Pfft... Cough cough... Cough cough..."

Shangguan Yun vomited several mouthfuls of bitter seawater, as if he had vomited up his stomach acid and bile. He forced himself to sit up, opened his blurry eyes, and looked at the things around him.

"Where am I? Cough cough... Ouch..." My arm is dislocated.

The surroundings were chaotic, as if I were lying on a rock on the beach, my whole body aching, then my head slumped and I fainted again.

In a hazy state, he seemed to remember being struck by a golden lightning bolt on the ship, a stream of light shooting into his mind, followed by a splitting headache, dizziness, and a fainting spell, before his body entered a dazzling, colorful, and eerie passage.

Before him appeared fourteen or fifteen-year-old girls dressed in pink, waving and slowly walking forward.

Then suddenly, scenes and pictures appeared before my eyes. The scenes and pictures seemed familiar, as if I had experienced them before.

The images flashed rapidly before his eyes, and gradually he understood that they were fragments of his past life, played back in reverse time: high school, middle school, elementary school, preschool... every single moment from the time he could remember played before his eyes.

Until he saw a chubby little boy, wearing a little bib and babbling.

However, it seemed that none of this was over. Time continued to rewind, ten, twenty, thirty years... Shangguan Yun believed that if no one disturbed him, this dream would continue indefinitely, taking him back to ancient times, where he might even see a few dinosaurs...

"Splash..." A large wave crashed directly onto the reef, and Shangguan Yun jolted awake, turning over and sitting up.

"Oh, it was just a dream." Looking around, he realized he was still lying on the rocks. He checked himself and found that apart from a dislocated arm and some minor cuts on his face and feet, he was otherwise unharmed.

Shangguan Yun breathed a sigh of relief. Thank goodness.

Recalling my past experiences, I suddenly felt a chill run down my spine. I really don't know how I survived, and I don't know how my classmates are doing.

'I can't stay here, the tide will come in soon and we'll be doomed,' Shangguan Yun muttered to himself.

First, put the dislocated arm back in place. This is something the PE teacher taught us. Bend down, place your palm on a rock, hold your arm with your other hand, and suddenly twist it inward. "Crack... Ouch..."

Shangguan Yun stood up, stretched his arms, looked around, then carefully jumped off the rocks, found a direction, and staggered down the beach.

About half an hour later, Shangguan Yun slumped down under a tree on a small hillside, panting heavily, and then wrung out his clothes that were still damp.

Checking his pockets, he was incredibly lucky to find two tiny French bread rolls. He wolfed them down in a minute, and Shangguan Yun regained some strength.

"Where am I? It should still be in the waters near Laolongtou. Hey... is anyone there...?"

After shouting for a long time, I could hear nothing but the sound of the waves, and I didn't find any trace of human activity along the way.

Looks like I swallowed some water on the boat and was swept to some deserted island by a strong wind. I'm lucky; if I'd fallen directly into the sea, I'd be done for—I can only doggy paddle...

A cool breeze swept by, and a ray of sunset shone on the horizon. Slowly, the golden sun sank below the horizon, close to the sea.

The waves rise and fall,

At the edge of the sky, countless golden rays radiated outwards.

The sky was ablaze with sunset colors.

Fishing boats can be vaguely seen in the distance.

This scene is something many have dreamed of; if exiled officials, poets, and writers were here, they would surely create masterpieces that will be passed down through generations! But right now, with my classmates stranded on this deserted island and their fate unknown, I'm really not in the mood for such things...

He was thrilled to find a lighter in his pocket. Luckily, the school leaders had allowed him to light it at the bonfire party that day, so he had secretly kept it. Hehe.
