As dawn broke, Zhu Feifei quietly slipped back into Bai Family Manor, blending in with the servants. Exhausted from a night's journey, he gleamed with excitement. Last night's encounter had not only brought him into contact with Bai Ruoxue but also revealed what seemed to be a hidden secret within the manor.

"Xiao Bai, what do you think those men in black are?" Zhu Feifei asked in a low voice, her fingers lightly stroking the Moonlight Ring.

The voice of the Ringwraith, Little White, echoed softly: "I don't know, but they're definitely not benevolent. Be careful, and don't forget your true mission."

Zhu Feifei pouted, "I know. But I still feel like something's not quite right."

Just then, a commotion arose in the distance. Zhu Feifei saw this and quickly followed. She saw a group of people surrounding a dignified middle-aged man, presumably Bai Tianyu, the head of the Bai family manor.

"Father, you can't do this!" A cold voice rang out. Zhu Feifei looked in the direction of the voice and saw Bai Ruoxue arguing with Bai Tianyu.

Bai Tianyu's face darkened: "Ruoxue, this is for your own good. The world is dangerous, and you are seriously ill. Getting married as soon as possible is the right thing to do."

"I don't need a marriage alliance to protect myself!" Bai Ruoxue said stubbornly, a hint of defiance flashing in her eyes.

Zhu Feifei's heart skipped a beat. A marriage alliance? That did seem like an opportunity. But then she thought again and something felt off. Bai Ruoxue was clearly seriously ill, so why was Bai Tianyu in such a hurry to arrange a marriage for her?

Just then, a violent cough interrupted the father and daughter's argument. Bai Ruoxue's face turned deathly pale, and she swayed precariously. Upon seeing this, Zhu Feifei instinctively wanted to step forward to support her, but she restrained herself in time.

"Miss!" a maid exclaimed and rushed forward.

As the footsteps faded into the distance, Zhu Feifei finally breathed a sigh of relief. He looked down and discovered that he had been transformed into a pig-headed human.

"This is getting interesting," Zhu Feifei muttered to herself.

As night fell, Baijiazhuang was shrouded in an eerie silence. Zhu Feifei quietly sneaked into the backyard, observing the surroundings by the moonlight.

Suddenly, a white figure flashed by. Zhu Feifei squinted and recognized Bai Ruoxue. She saw Bai Ruoxue sneaking towards the herb garden, carrying a wooden box in her hand.

"Could it be the secret manual of 'White Bone Frost Palm'?" Zhu Feifei's heart stirred, and she quietly followed.

Bai Ruoxue arrived at a stone pavilion deep in the herb garden, looked around, and then pushed aside a stone slab, revealing a tunnel.

Just as Bai Ruoxue was about to enter the tunnel, several dark figures suddenly pounced from all directions.

"Young lady, please forgive me!" the leader of the men in black sneered. "Hand over the manual, and I'll spare your life!"

Bai Ruoxue snorted coldly, shielding the wooden box behind her: "Want the secret manual? You'll have to get past me first!"

With that, she waved her hand, and a chilling aura swept over them. The men in black were immediately forced back several steps, their faces showing horror.

Seeing this, the men in black knew something was wrong and scattered in all directions. Zhu Feifei saw an opportunity, grabbed Bai Ruoxue, and jumped into the tunnel amidst the chaos.

"Let me go!" Bai Ruoxue struggled, but she was weak and powerless at the moment, and was no match for Zhu Feifei.

Zhu Feifei said apologetically, "I'm sorry, I did this to save you."

As he spoke, he led Bai Ruoxue forward quickly through the dark tunnel. Behind them came Bai Tianyu's roar and the footsteps of pursuers, but they were quickly left behind.

Finally, the two reached the end of the tunnel. Zhu Feifei pushed open the hidden door and found that they had arrived in a grove of trees outside Baijiazhuang.

The moonlight, like water, bathed the two of them. Bai Ruoxue, panting heavily, looked at Zhu Feifei warily: "Who exactly are you? Why did you save me?"

Zhu Feifei gave a wry smile, feeling his body returning to human form. He simply closed his eyes and waited for the transformation to complete.

When he opened his eyes again, he had regained his handsome and dashing appearance.

"It's you!" Bai Ruoxue exclaimed, clearly recognizing Zhu Feifei as the person who saved her last night.

A complex expression flashed in Bai Ruoxue's beautiful eyes, a mixture of surprise, confusion, and a faint trace of gratitude.
