"Boom..." A huge sound came from afar, shaking the ground violently, as if a major earthquake had occurred.

"My God! What... what is that noise now?!"

Zhu Feifei screamed in terror, his face turning deathly pale.

His two hands gripped the Queen Jingjue's slender yet powerful arms like iron clamps.

His body trembled uncontrollably, and his voice shook so much it became incoherent:

The Queen of Jingjue's expression was equally solemn. She turned her body slightly to the side and put her ear closer to the direction from which the sound was getting closer and clearer.

As the voice drew closer, the Queen's brows furrowed deeper and deeper, as if two deep lines were etched onto her beautiful yet worried face.

"That sound...it sounds like some enormous creature is approaching..."

The Queen of Jingjue murmured, but before she could finish speaking, a gigantic figure slowly emerged from the end of the dark tomb passage.

Its enormous body almost occupied the entire tomb passage, casting a heavy shadow that sent chills down one's spine.

It was a huge black-armored scorpion, its entire body covered in a jet-black, metallic carapace that gleamed with a cold luster.

Its eight legs are as thick as pillars, its tail is raised high, its tail needle gleams coldly, and its venom drips down, making a "sizzling" corrosive sound.

This behemoth is as big as a small truck!

"My God!" Zhu Feifei exclaimed, her teeth chattering in shock. "This...this huge scorpion? How many of these would it take to make just one dish?!"

Just then, the Black Armored Scorpion King's tail suddenly shot out, followed by the swing of its huge pincers, and it pounced straight at the Queen of Jingjue.

As the battle progressed, Zhu Feifei's boar form, though strong, lacked agility and tactical acumen, and gradually fell into a disadvantageous position.

"Feifei, hold on!" Queen Jingjue shouted, and the mechanism was finally completed.

It was a huge flaming catapult. She loaded a massive flaming crossbow bolt into it and aimed it at the Black Armored Scorpion King.

"Feifei, get out of the way!" Queen Jingjue shouted.

Wild boar Zhu Feifei rolled to the side, narrowly avoiding the attack of the Black Armored Scorpion King.

"Whoosh—" A huge crossbow bolt burning with raging flames shot out and accurately struck the Black Armored Scorpion King's abdomen.

"Boom—!" The Black Armored Scorpion King let out a shrill scream as its massive body crashed to the ground, its black carapace shattering into countless pieces.

"We won!" Zhu Feifei finally returned to human form.

"Oh no, it's happening again!" Zhu Feifei was so frightened by this sudden turn of events that his face turned deathly pale. He covered his head with his hands and screamed in terror.
