After leaving lawyer Sullivan to handle the remaining formalities, Henry took Flying Eagle and his crew out hunting and took the opportunity to inspect the newly purchased land.

A few days later, Sullivan informed Henry that everything was settled. Henry then had Antora, who had come with Eagle, escort Sullivan back to Blackwater, and asked Megan to help him set up an office there. Eagle stayed behind to accommodate the rest of the arrivals and handle the aftermath of the zoo's affairs.

In addition, Henry instructed Antora to return and discuss with William's steward and Chief Raindrops, asking them to send some people over as soon as possible to assist Eagles in establishing and managing the zoo.

Henry didn't remember Micah until Arthur came looking for him.

It turned out that Arthur had rescued Sean and brought him back to the camp yesterday. Although Ike Skye arrogantly refused Pinkerton's help, he did indeed gather about twenty elite bounty hunters to set a trap for Arthur and his men. Unfortunately, they were quickly defeated and fled under the surprise attack of Arthur, John, Javier, and Charles.

Only the weakened Irish boy remained; after all, anyone who had been beaten for so many days and hung upside down wouldn't recover. It was a testament to Sean's resilience that he survived.

"Arthur, what brings you here? Did you manage to save Sean?"

"They successfully rescued him yesterday without any casualties, except Sean is a bit weak and is resting at the camp. Dutch was worried because you hadn't returned for so long, so he sent me to check on you."

"So, how's your situation going? What about the mouse?"

Seeing that Henry was alright, Arthur was relieved. Actually, Dutch had only mentioned it to him briefly, complaining about why Henry hadn't sent any news back yet. But Arthur knew that rats liked to cause trouble, so he was worried and came back that very night.

Seeing Arthur's exhausted appearance, Henry knew that Arthur was worried about his safety, but it was impossible for him to say anything expressing his concern; he had always been just a foul-mouthed king.

"It's alright, he's still in jail, he's being served food and drink every day, and he even has a bed partner, he's doing just fine."

I was just busy with my own things and forgot about him. Come on, let's go eat first and rest for a bit. I'll take you to see him later.

.....

After dinner, Henry led Li Yi and Arthur to the window where Micah was being held, and they heard Micah's frantic shouts.

"Let me out, you maggots!"

Do you think this prison can hold me?

"Once I get out, you'll all be dead. My gang members will be here to rescue me soon, so don't regret it then."

His voice was weak and hoarse, and he coughed occasionally, so it wasn't very intimidating. If it weren't for Pinkerton's intervention, Sheriff Farley would have hanged him long ago.

However, judging from Micah's weak state, it was clear that the officers didn't give him a friendly look either. The fact that they didn't punch and kick him was a sign of their professionalism.

Hearing Micah's taunts, Arthur curled his lip. "A leopard can't change its spots," he thought, "even in jail, he can't behave."

Henry told Arthur to stay put and not show himself. He and Li Yi went to find the sheriff to have Micah released. After all, Arthur was still a wanted criminal in West Elizabeth. Although there was no wanted poster for him here, the sheriff still knew about it, though he might not remember it for a moment.

Although Arthur found Henry's actions a bit strange, he still chose to trust Henry, who never did anything without certainty.

Sure enough, before Arthur could tease Micah for long, he saw Li Yi take the prison keys from the police officer and drag Micah out.

As for Micah's request for a gun, Li Yi simply ignored it.

When he tried to take it himself, Li Yi kicked him against the wall. After that, he never dared to ask Li Yi for it again. He knew that Li Yi wasn't part of their gang, and his boss, Henry, didn't like him. Henry had even beaten him up in Blackwater and wouldn't show him any mercy. He could only obediently follow him out and figure out a way to deal with him once he saw Arthur.

Even after Li Yi brought the weakened Micah to Arthur, Arthur was still a little dazed, his eyes filled with confusion.

"Li Yi, where's Henry? What happened? We just brought this bastard out like that? Nobody stopped us..."

"As you can see, it's obvious the boss has taken care of everything. He's now the most important guest in Strawberry Town. He's still inside discussing things with the sheriff and will come out later. He told us to take this guy away from here and not cause any trouble."

"Arthur, Arthur, please give me the gun. I need my livelihood back. They took it. And those bastards in the police station, they've kept me locked up for so long, I have to teach them a lesson."

Seeing that Li Yi was going to let him leave empty-handed, Micah panicked. His beloved gun had been stolen by Norman and his two bastards. If he didn't get it back now, he wouldn't know where to find it later.

However, he dared not ask Li Yi for more, so he could only seek help from Arthur.

Arthur knew Micah's character; since Henry wouldn't allow him to cause trouble here, he certainly wouldn't give him any more guns.

Seeing that Arthur remained unmoved, and as Micah tried to struggle again, Li Yi struck him on the back of the neck, knocking him unconscious once more.

Although Arthur felt that what he was doing was a bit inappropriate, he didn't say anything. After all, what human rights do rats have?

Li Yi told Arthur to take Micah back to the camp to report to Dutch first, and that he would tell him about what happened here later. He also hinted that Arthur should keep his distance from Micah in the future and not get his saliva on him.

Meanwhile, Henry was having a pleasant conversation with Sheriff Farley. Others didn't know, but as the sheriff, he was a figure of some importance in the town. He knew that Henry had just spent a huge sum of $20 to buy several plots of land in Strawberry Town, becoming the town's benefactor.

I heard that at least 50 jobs will be provided to the townspeople. Although he himself doesn't need them, his family and relatives do, as do the families of other police officers. If we can get a few from Henry, it will greatly improve everyone's living conditions.

Not to mention, Henry also had the representatives lift the town's alcohol ban. Judging from his words, it seemed he was preparing to start a bootlegging business, which would naturally bring in a lot of money for the police.

Sheriff Farley readily agreed to Henry's request to release a man who had been detained for several days and was not yet ready to hang himself.

Henry, knowing how to reciprocate, promised to give everyone in the police station a job recommendation spot. Of course, the sheriff would have two spots, but the recommended people had to be able-bodied young men who were obedient to management.

Since they were going to recruit people in town anyway, they might as well do the police station a favor and tie themselves to the police force more closely. That way, even if Chief Fali dared to have any ill intentions towards them, the other officers wouldn't stand for it.

Finally, Henry also provided Sheriff Farley with a hideout for O'Driscoll gang members—the same cabin where Skinny Monkey was hiding. While it wasn't a major operation, catching the thugs lurking in the town center and eliminating a potential threat was still a commendable achievement. Sheriff Farley, of course, was happy to do it.
