Red Dead Redemption: The Great Philanthropist of the West

Dutch gave Henry a brief account of what happened after the successful robbery, when they encountered the Odrisco gang. Fortunately, the gang was outnumbered and quickly drove them away. Arthur also captured a straggler member of the Odrisco gang who had been abandoned.

After everyone had eaten and drunk their fill, they formed small groups of two or three and chatted about their interesting stories.

By the campfire, the middle-aged man, beaming, showed off the expensive beer Henry had given him to Bill and Javier. Unexpectedly, Bill, enraged, lunged forward, snatched the beer from his hand, tilted his head back, and gulped down most of the bottle, leaving the middle-aged man shouting in anger.

However, after a short while, they made up again, put their hands together, and danced happily to Havel's music, loudly singing one explicit erotic song after another. The songs echoed in the night sky of the camp, creating quite a lively atmosphere.

Micah sat alone on a wooden stake in the corner, constantly whittling something with a knife. His gaze would occasionally drift to Marybeth, Karen, and Tilly in another corner, a subtle, enigmatic smile playing on his lips.

Mary Beth and her two best friends formed a small triangle, whispering among themselves, their cheerful laughter and exclamations punctuating the occasional burst of sound. When Henry turned to look at them, he found them staring back at him. After raising his glass to them, nodding slightly, and exchanging smiles, Henry looked away, searching for Arthur.

Meanwhile, Arthur was instructing his younger brother Lenny, seemingly blaming him for being too impulsive when he jumped onto the train. Not only did Lenny jump off the train at an angle and almost fall off, but he also stood carelessly in the middle of the carriage when exchanging fire with the train guards, almost getting killed by the enemy's concentrated fire.

Lenny was also quite helpless, as he wasn't usually like this. He knew that everyone in the camp still regarded him as an inexperienced child, and this time it was because he was too eager to show off in front of everyone that he acted impulsively.

Seeing Henry arrive was like seeing a savior, escaping Arthur's lecture. At the same time, he did have some things he wanted to confirm with Henry.

"Henry, Henry, I heard you saved Jenny. How is she now? Is she alright? How badly was she injured? How is she doing? She..."

Ever since Lenny heard from Dutch that Jenny was still alive, he'd been preoccupied with the lively, beautiful girl and had been eager to know how she was doing. So he blurted out all the questions at once.

"Stop, stop, stop, Lenny, I know you're in a hurry, but don't rush, let's talk slowly. Jenny is alright now, she's out of danger, but she still needs to rest. I've already made arrangements, she's safe now. You can tell her yourself when you have the chance later."

"We're leaving tomorrow, so you should go back and get some rest. I have some things to discuss with Arthur."

"Arthur, how did the operation go? Did it go smoothly? I heard you encountered some people from the Odrisco gang. Come, tell me in detail what happened."

Henry offered Arthur a cigarette, but Arthur snatched the entire pack of cigarettes from his hand.

"Why is it that Henry, you always manage to bring out so many good things? After smoking so many cigarettes, this one in your hand is still the best."

"I bet you're only enjoying it because you stole it," Henry said with a laugh, before lighting the cigarette he was about to offer and smoking it himself.

"There were quite a few unexpected incidents during the train robbery, but thankfully, we were successful and returned unharmed."

Arthur lit a cigarette and joined Henry in puffing away.

"Tell me about the unexpected events that happened."

"First, that idiot Bill failed to detonate the explosives he planted on the railway, which forced us to risk jumping directly from the mountain road onto the train, completely disrupting Dutch's original plan."

Although I was the one who laid the fuse, Bill came and checked it in the end, and there was nothing wrong with the fuse I laid. Perhaps he installed it incorrectly, or perhaps the detonator itself was faulty.

Putting that aside, seeing that the explosives couldn't be detonated, that idiot didn't just shoot to detonate them; he was incredibly stupid, just like Marston.

Arthur, recalling the incident, couldn't help but swear again; he didn't want to take the blame for this. If he hadn't been too far away and the gun hadn't been too far out of range, he would have shot himself to detonate the explosives.

"Then there's that kid Lenny. Ever since he overheard Hosea and Dutch arguing, and Dutch said that Jenny wasn't dead, he's been distracted and trying to show off. He almost got beaten up on the train."

"Finally, after we stopped the train and dealt with the train guards, Colm suddenly appeared out of nowhere with a dozen or so men, almost catching us off guard. Fortunately, we quickly drove them away. It's a pity we couldn't capture Colm; Dutch has always wanted Colm's head."

We should definitely thank Micah for spotting it early and giving us a warning; he's not entirely useless after all.

Arthur looked regretful after speaking; he was still very concerned about Dutch. Although, under the influence of Henry and Hosea, he now had different opinions on many of Dutch's actions.

"Didn't I see you brought someone back with you? Who was it? Did you ask them?"

"You mean that prisoner? He's from the Odrisco gang. He said his name was Kieran Duffy, but I don't know if it's true. The kid was so scared he was talking nonsense, saying he was just a horse feeder."

He came with Colm, but he wasn't armed. Colm didn't take him with him when he escaped, so Dutch had me tie him up to see if we could get any useful information about the Odrisco gang out of him. So, Henry, are you interested in him?"

Arthur was puzzled as to why Henry would be interested in such a nobody, especially since he had witnessed Henry's ruthless treatment of the Odrisco gang.

"When I attacked the Odrisco gang's stronghold, I overheard other members talking about how they had a newcomer in their camp who was always the butt of jokes, doing odd jobs like grooming horses and being the butt of jokes."

He's a pitiful man, so I think the one you arrested is him. I hope you won't harm him during the interrogation. After you're done, you can hand him over to me for further processing.

Henry made up an excuse for Arthur. He had a good impression of Kieran, and since they had met, he was happy to lend a hand.

Kieran had never done anything evil in his life. In the camp, he was always the first to rise, the last to sleep, the hardest worker, and the least eater.
