When Arthur hurried back to Horseshoe Watch, he found that Dutch and Hosea had not yet returned.

He brought Jack back to Abigail's side, pondering the gang's fate with a heavy expression, but he couldn't come up with a solution for the time being.

“What happened, Arthur?”

After Abigail looked her son over and found that everything was alright, she also noticed Arthur's unusual expression.

"It's nothing. We just ran into some bad people. Keep a close eye on Little Jack and don't let him stray too far from the camp. We might have to leave here soon."

After giving Abigail his instructions, Arthur left without waiting for her to speak. Although he didn't know what to do next, it was still necessary to prepare for his departure.

“Ms. Grimshaw, Mr. Pearson, could you come here for a moment?”

"Is there something you need, Arthur?"

Grimshaw was the first to respond to him, but she was a little puzzled, wondering why Arthur wanted to talk to her at this time.

"Hey Arthur, what's going on? It's been a long time since I've received any supplies from you. My table is waiting for your contribution."

Pearson came over when he heard Arthur's call. In Arthur's absence, there was much less meat in the camp.

“It’s so good that you’re back. While you were gone, no one hunted for us. That bastard Sean even complained that my soup was bad. He doesn’t even know who provided the ingredients for those idiots.”

"We can talk about hunting later; let's worry about our lives first."

Arthur interrupted Pearson's grumbling, looked at Grimshaw and Pearson, and said to them seriously:

"Listen, Pinkerton Detectives have tracked us to the vicinity. We may have to leave soon. I need you to make some preparations in advance. In the next two days, take stock of our camp's supplies and pack up anything we don't need for the time being. Be prepared to evacuate at any time. OK?"

Upon hearing that Pinkerton detectives had tracked them down, the two were startled, recalling the hardships they had endured recently. Their relaxed expressions vanished.

"Are you sure it's them who's caught up with us, Morgan? Where do we need to move to?"

Ms. Grimshaw confirmed with Arthur with a serious expression.

“Of course, I ran into them today, near the river not far away. But... I think they were more likely trying to scare us. I'm not sure... whether we should leave now. I need to wait for Hosea and Dutch to come back and discuss it before deciding. But I think we should be prepared for any eventuality.”

Arthur rarely used his brain, though not much.

After giving instructions to Grimshaw and Pearson, Arthur went to Lenny's side and talked to him about the day's events, telling him to be cautious when he was on guard.

As he patted his younger brother on the shoulder and prepared to leave, he saw a lithe figure appear at the other end of the path.

"Who's there? State your name."

"Arthur? It's me, Javier! What happened?"

It was Javier who had just returned from collecting debts. Ever since Arthur and Dutch protested the loan sharking business and said they were unwilling to go after debtors anymore, the debt collection job had fallen to Javier. Javier naturally obeyed Dutch's orders without question; he was old Dutch's most loyal supporter.

Besides, debt collection isn't difficult; he's perfectly capable of it. It's just that sometimes he has to act like Conan, tracking down debtors without being as efficient as Arthur, which takes a little longer.

Havel was puzzled as to why Arthur was out on guard duty today. Generally, Arthur, as the camp's main combat force, would not be out on sentry duty.

"It might be a bit troublesome."

Arthur briefly explained the situation again and told him to go back to the camp to rest first, and that everything would be discussed when the two older brothers returned.

Not long after, Dutch returned to the camp with Micah, John, and Sean.

Upon their return, before Arthur could even utter a word, Micah loudly boasted about their 'successful' robbery, showing off the money and jewelry they had obtained. Dutch, meanwhile, stood aside, basking in the praise.

Compared to Micah and Dutch's happy expressions, John and Sean seemed rather silent. They were both a bit dirty and looked somewhat disheveled, with some simple bandages on their arms.

John planned the entire robbery, and although the overall plan was successful—everyone got their share of the money and returned safely—he still felt uneasy and uncomfortable.

First, the planned stealth of the tanker truck turned into a full-blown robbery after Micah joined in. Then, during the robbery, several tourists who were slightly uncooperative were shot and killed by Micah, while Dutch watched the whole thing and tacitly approved of Micah's actions.

Then, when they were preparing to leave after the robbery, they encountered mounted police. Originally, all they had to do was suppress the police and prevent them from getting close enough to escape. However, Micah and Dutch went berserk and started shooting wildly at the police, killing more than a dozen people. It wasn't until more and more police reinforcements arrived that they were forced to flee.

During the escape, Sean was hit in the left arm by a stray bullet and fell from his horse. Dutch and Micah didn't hesitate at all and ran right past Sean. In the end, John circled back, held off the enemy for Sean, helped him onto his horse, and they escaped together. However, he was also grazed by a bullet and suffered a minor injury. Fortunately, it didn't affect his combat ability.

"Shut up, you damn bastard. I'll settle accounts with you later for the mess you made in Strawberry Town."

Arthur couldn't stand it anymore and showed no mercy to Micah, directly interrupting his boasting. If it weren't for the fact that they had run into Pinkerton today, and it wasn't the time to start a fight, he would have already kicked him a few times to collect some interest for Henry.

Arthur, however, failed to notice the flicker of displeasure in his dear old Dutch's eyes after he interrupted Micah's boasting. This rare opportunity to enhance his prestige had been ruined once again.

“What? What have I done to offend you, Mr. Morgan? Dutch, Dutch, look, look, how unfriendly our Mr. Morgan is.”

Arthur completely ignored Micah's counterattack. He had more important things to say to Dutch.

“Dutch, we’re in trouble. I ran into the Pinkerton detectives by the river earlier today. They’ve discovered that we stole the Cornish train and are now tracking us down to Valentine. They know we’re in the vicinity.”

Dutch was displeased when he heard Arthur mention the train again. Instead of thinking about how to solve the problem, he wanted to pin the blame for the camp being discovered by Pinkerton on Arthur.

Because of the previous argument in Plow Village, Dutch insisted on robbing the train, but the loot he brought back couldn't be sold and was practically worthless. This has caused his prestige to plummet rapidly.

As it turns out, robbing the train was a mistake.

Especially now that the Pinkerton detectives have come knocking again, this time because of a train robbery.

This made everyone feel terrible; the little bit of joy from the successful robbery was long gone.
