Chapter 44, Our Daughter!

♂』Los Santos, Rockford Hill, Eclipse Zone, Humbert Day, Mack House.

Trevor approached Mike and said, "Old friend, we meet again!"

Although Mike was utterly shocked, he quickly masked it with a smile and said to Trevor, "Hey, it's great to see you, buddy!"

Trevor lowered his voice and said, "Hmm, yeah! I guessed so. Of course, I'm not the one who... came back from the dead! Isn't that great? Look at how you're doing now!"

Mike shielded Jimmy behind him and said, "I'm in a bit of an awkward situation right now that I need to deal with!"

Trevor scoffed, "Yeah, you're right, brother, yeah... one of those things is letting your best friend think you're dead, then running off with the money and moving into a big villa. That's a really awkward situation!"

McBo said calmly, "That's fine if you want to see it that way!"

Trevor, hearing that Mike still wouldn't admit it, said, "Yeah, what else can you say? Because I've been completely honest with you! I consider you my best friend!"

Mike interrupted, "That was a long time ago, man! I was under witness protection, and I still am!"

Trevor laughed and said, "Oh! That's great...that's great! Sorry, I'm so sorry...I think I should have been more polite, right? By the way, where's Tracy? I haven't seen her."

Mike asked Jimmy in the back, "Jimmy, where did your sister go?"

Jimmy stammered, "Uh, she... she... she went to a TV audition!"

Mike asked again, "Where is she going?"

Jimmy: "Yeah, she auditioned for 'Famous or Ugly'!"

Mike: "Famous or humiliated? What the hell are you talking about?"

Jimmy: "You know, that show where the pundits criticize the performers' talents. She likes that show, you guys should know that."

Mike asked with a smile, "What talents does she have?"

Jimmy: "Dance!"

Mike couldn't help but exclaim, "Oh my god, she's a terrible dancer..."

Seemingly displeased with Mike's assessment of her daughter, Amanda was about to say something when she said, "Mike..."

Jimmy interrupted, "She doesn't think that way herself!"

Mike: "Good heavens! What about now? Where is she?"

Jimmy thought for a moment and said, "Hmm...at the Maze Bank Stadium."

At this moment, Trevor stepped forward and said, "I think our little Trevor is going to be humiliated. Let's go! Let's go save her!" (Old Trevor is still very loyal! To his own people!!!)

Mike was very surprised: "Us?"

Trevor, with an air of self-righteousness, said, "Yeah, us? Your daughter's going to be the laughingstock of the whole country, and you're just standing there gossiping? Looks like you're even worse than I thought! We're off right now, hurry!"

Mike: "Okay!"

After saying that, the two rushed out of the house and boarded Mike's Aubrey Detective (based on the Audia 6) together, heading to the Garden Bank Stadium. Franklin, seeing them rush out, knew the plot had begun, but he was still somewhat skeptical that Tracy would actually perform a striptease as originally planned. So, after saying goodbye to everyone, Franklin went outside the villa and dialed Tracy's number. Once connected, Franklin said to Tracy, "Hey, baby, where are you now?"

Tracy stammered, "Ah, Little Rich, I... I'm at the Garden Bank Stadium right now, and I'd like to try out this show!"

Undeterred, Franklin asked again, "So what are you going to perform?"

Tracy: "Singing! I've been practicing singing lately and I feel pretty good about it! So I thought I'd give it a try! You won't be mad at me, will you?"

Franklin said confidently, "How could that be? Keep it up, I believe your singing will win over the judges!"

Tracy: "Okay, thank you. I need to get ready. It'll be my turn soon!"

Franklin: "Okay, good luck! I'll hang up now, goodbye!" Franklin didn't tell Tracy or Mike that they had gotten the news. After hanging up, Franklin left Mike's house.

In the car, Mike said to Trevor, "I was saying, I could actually handle this by myself. How about we get together for a few drinks later and catch up?"

Trevor, however, was unimpressed, saying, "No need, buddy!"

Mike reiterated, "She's my daughter, I'll handle it."

Trevor, after listening, retorted sarcastically, "Tch! Judging from your past behavior and the situation of your family... you really know how to handle things!"

Mike sensed Trevor's sarcasm and retorted, "Hey, screw you!"

Seeing that Mike was a little angry, Trevor smiled and said, "Yeah, you're a model husband and a perfect dad! I can tell!"

Mike: "You barged into my house and you think you can tell me how to live my life? Friend, that's so rude! It's nice to see you, but you still smell like urine, there's blood under your fingernails, and it looks like you haven't slept for... a week, right? What the hell gives you the right to tell me this?"

Trevor ignored Michael's sarcasm: "I know you well, you cunning scoundrel! I know you'll go home and abandon us if I don't keep an eye on you! We'll get your daughter out of those bastards' hands; you can't just leave me and Brad like that." [Brad Snyder - a professional robber. Brad was an old friend of Trevor and Michael's, and a member of Michael's old robbery gang. Although Brad only appears twice in the game (once as a skeleton), he undeniably plays a crucial role in the later plot developments. The North Yankton robbery in 2004 directly led to Brad's death. After Dave's promotion (i.e., after Michael arrived in Lostantos), he began fabricating a story to Trevor that Brad was in police custody, and wrote letters to Trevor in Brad's name. Notably, most of Dave's letters to Trevor urged him to turn himself in. But the truth eventually came out, and Trevor eventually discovered it. He flew alone to the North Yankton cemetery and dug up...]

The discovery of Brad's body briefly strained the relationship between Trevor and Michael, but they eventually reconciled (Ending 3). According to Trevor, Brad and Michael's relationship was strained, with Brad reportedly even attempting to bring Michael down. To Lester, Brad was a lazy, forgetful, and foolish scoundrel. [The last sentence appears to be a separate, unrelated comment: "Leaving your daughter like that!"]

Mike was startled when he heard Trevor mention the name! He whispered, "Yes... Brad!"
