At the end of the passage was a bustling underground market, filled with all sorts of strange and wonderful things, and the sounds of vendors hawking their wares rose and fell.

"This is...the black market?" Lu Lingxi was somewhat surprised. She hadn't expected that such a hidden place would contain a trading market.

"It seems we've stumbled upon a remarkable place." The White Tiger looked around and found that the place was a melting pot of people, including cultivators, demons, and even some beings with strange auras.

“Since we’re here, we might as well make the best of it. We can use this opportunity to gather some information,” Lu Lingxi said, filled with curiosity about the black market.

The four disguised themselves and blended into the crowd. Nine-Tailed Fox, who was best at disguise, used illusion magic to give himself, White Tiger, and Netherworld a pair of fluffy fox ears, making them look like ordinary demon merchants.

“Let’s go take a look over there.” Nine-Tails pointed to a stall where some strangely shaped bones were displayed, emitting faint fluctuations of divine power.

"These divine bones come from the Temple of the God of War, genuine and of the highest quality, no deception!" The stall owner, a middle-aged man with a pointed mouth and monkey-like face, enthusiastically hawked his wares. "Three strands of the God of War's remnant soul are included as a bonus, which can be used for refining weapons and alchemy, with endless uses!"

"Divine bones?" Lu Lingxi's heart stirred. She was very interested in the history of the Divine Realm and might be able to find some clues from these divine bones.

Baihu walked to the stall and carefully observed the divine bones. He could feel the power of the metal element contained within them, but at the same time, he also noticed something unusual.

"Something seems off about this divine bone," the White Tiger murmured. He sensed a faint aura of chaos emanating from a compass-like object on the stall.

“That’s a sundial, a magical instrument used for divination and location,” Nine-Tailed explained, noticing an ominous aura emanating from its surface.

Lu Lingxi Yao also stepped forward. She reached out and touched the sundial. The moment she touched it, a blood-red pointer suddenly appeared on the dial.

"It's absorbing my spiritual power!" Lu Lingxi exclaimed in surprise, as she felt the spiritual power in her body being rapidly absorbed by the sundial.

"There's definitely something strange about this!" Upon seeing this, Youming immediately spat out a ball of flame, which burned towards the stall owner's sleeve.

"Sizzle!" A large hole was burned through the stall owner's sleeve, revealing a black tattoo on his arm—a sun design.

“The Devouring Heaven Society!” Lu Lingxi recognized the tattoo at a glance; it was the symbol of the Devouring Heaven Society.

"So it was you guys who were behind this!" Youming roared, he never expected to encounter the Devouring Heaven Society here.

"We've been discovered! Run!" The stall owner's face changed drastically. He put away the sundial and turned to run.

"Trying to run? Not so easy!" White Tiger roared and was about to give chase.

"Stop chasing him. There are too many people around here, and it'll be easy to get caught." Lu Lingxi stopped Baihu, not wanting to cause trouble here.

"But..." Baihu was somewhat unwilling.

"Let's leave here first," Lu Lingxi said. She had a feeling that this black market was not simple, and it would be best to leave as soon as possible.

The four quickly left the black market, but they didn't go far. Instead, they hid in a secluded corner.

"That stall owner must be from the Devouring Heaven Society. Why would he use a sundial to absorb my spiritual power?" Lu Lingxi asked in confusion.

“We must find out their purpose,” Nine-Tails said, feeling that there was a huge conspiracy behind this.

"Let's find that stall owner first," Lu Lingxi said. She decided to follow the stall owner to see what he was up to.

The four men quietly followed the stall owner and discovered that he had entered an abandoned mine.

"How can there be so many crystallized corpses here?" Youming looked at the densely packed crystallized corpses on the cave wall and felt a chill run down his spine.

Nine-Tailed Fox used light elements to illuminate the cave walls and carefully observed the crystallized corpses. He discovered that these corpses actually formed a strange pattern.

"This is... an enlarged version of the sundial pattern!" Nine-Tails exclaimed in surprise, finally understanding the purpose of those crystallized corpses.
