HP: The Root of Everything - The Magician

Chapter 54 Teleporting to the Girls' Dormitory

The gleaming pistol at Corey Bab's waist made Yoann and Vikman involuntarily take a step back.

They both knew that Teach Carr had killed many wizards using teleportation magic and firearms, so they naturally investigated Corey Bab's past as a mercenary as well.

It's not fair to say that Corey, with his teleportation ability, is more bloodthirsty than Teach; it's just that he's more terrifying and horrifying.

Teach Carr's job as an assassin is a side job, while Corey Bab... is a weapon honed through decades of mercenary battlefield combat.

The two could not imagine what unimaginable catastrophic consequences this humanoid killing weapon, now possessing teleportation magic, would cause if it actually attacked a wizard.

Thinking this, Joan Hanff muttered fearfully to himself: "That's why I said magic is a huge threat to the magical world. Teach Carr must be eliminated if possible—he absolutely cannot be allowed to live."

[We should have listened to Chief Fudge and destroyed that magic book long ago.]

Minister Kington Kitty, you're so foolish! You realize that letting Teach Carr continue his research into magic will eventually have a devastating impact on the wizarding world, but you still want to use him first.

[This wishful thinking will make you regret it. Let's see how you handle it then.]

Despite his thoughts, Yoann Hanf didn't dare lay a hand on Teach; he still wanted to live: "Forget it, I'm just a laborer, trying to make a living."

[Let Kington handle whatever the final outcome may be.]

Unlike Yoann, Vikman Karen was focused on studying the magical runes and arrays on Cole's arm, memorizing and solidifying them in his mind.

Although Vikman could guess that Teach's unreserved portrayal in front of them meant he wasn't worried about his magic knowledge being leaked, he was also just an employee.

Wild wizards like him are often powerless to control their own destiny and can only huddle together with other wizards for warmth.

After spending some time with Machi, Teach Carr decided to get up and leave, figuring the house-elves should have moved most of the equipment in the lab in the afternoon.

Vikman watched Teach leave without a word, his brow furrowed. He wanted to follow and offer his services, but then thought better of it: "No rush. The government and the Anti-Magic Agency's order to me to be a magic intelligence spy for Teach Carr is not mandatory. They know the chances of that happening are very slim."

As long as Maggie is still in the hospital, I will always have the opportunity to come into contact with Teach Carr again.

So what Vikman Karen needs to do next is to use his magical powers to take good care of Machi as much as possible, perform well in Corey Bab's eyes, and win Teach Carl's favor so that he can keep him by his side as an assistant.

......

In the hospital's open space, Teach Carl boarded a helicopter and flew back to Carl Castle.

Teach could have ordered the house-elves to Apparate and come pick him up after they were done, but he couldn't do that, as it would save him time and effort. He didn't want his presence at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to be exposed to both sides.

In the magical world, the Ministry of Magic is not the only powerful entity.

At least regarding matters concerning Albus Dumbledore, the Ministry of Magic has no right to interfere without a valid reason.

Don't assume that just because Dumbledore is a good person and a white wizard full of a sense of justice, he's easy to bully. The only ones he can bully are the greatest and most powerful wizards of our time. This statement is not a joke.

In the real world, the British government and the anti-magic agencies are well aware of the existence of the magical world, but their political influence has not yet extended into it.

......

After a bout of dizziness and nausea, Teach Carr returned to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Then, back in the magic office, he used the two-way teleportation array in the corner to teleport to the second-year girls' dormitory.

Since it's still 4 PM and the young wizards are in class, Teach doesn't need to worry about unexpectedly stumbling upon the witches changing clothes or anything like that.

But as it turned out... an unexpected incident still occurred.

Teach Carr never expected that Hermione would inscribe a teleportation array on her bed, causing Teach to appear directly in Hermione's bedding.

The blanket was filled with the sweet fragrance of a young girl, making it hard for Teach to breathe. Just as he tried to peek out to get some fresh air, a hot, soft, and tender young body suddenly hugged him.

[Ahaha... I hugged my teacher on the bed! I'm so excited! What should I do next?]

[Should we just execute the teacher on the spot?]

Hermione, fast asleep in her thin pajamas, was instantly awakened when someone suddenly appeared under the covers. Upon realizing it was her teacher, Teach, Hermione blushed and turned into a steampunk goddess.

She was filled with shyness, but even more so with joy and an irresistible excitement.

So she closed her eyes again outside the blanket, pretending to fall asleep, and then suddenly rolled over, tightly clamping down on the man who had appeared in her dreams many times.

The tight blankets were not breathable, and Hermione's burning pink body temperature made it even harder for Teach, who was already having difficulty breathing, to breathe, as if he was about to suffocate.

In the struggle, Teach broke free from Hermione's legs that were tightly clamping him, then threw off the steaming blankets and began to breathe heavily.

After catching his breath, Teach turned around and complained with a headache, "That little brat almost did something that involved killing her master."

'Slap slap slap slap~' Teach slapped Hermione's little face, trying to wake her up.

After a month of hunting forest monsters, Teach learned about Hermione's deep sleep, so he used this rough method to wake her up.

After being slapped in the face repeatedly, Hermione reluctantly opened her eyes only after feeling the pain, complaining in her heart: "Looks like I'll have to get a thinner blanket next time."

Hermione got dressed and then followed Teach to the teleportation array, leaving the dormitory.

In the women's restroom, the master and apprentice stood in front of the washroom sculpture at the entrance to the secret room. After Teach uttered a few rustling snake words, the secret room opened.

The Parseltongue that opened the door was what Teach remembered from Harry's words at the time.

Parseltongue has no written form, so even if Teach Carl wanted to learn it from Harry Potter, there was no way to do so; it's a kind of ethereal talent.

Hermione was surprised by the changes before her eyes when she entered the Hall of the Serpent.

The hall had been completely transformed. At Teach Carl's request, the house-elves had brought in experimental equipment that was arranged exactly like the laboratory beneath the Carl family's castle.

Moreover, under additional orders, the domesticated little rascal transformed the cold lighting and dark green tiled walls of the snake hall into bright, white ones.

The anatomical experiments in magic may seem extremely cruel to outsiders, but in the magician's mind, it is simply an experimental process in pursuit of the fundamental truth.

Truth and origin, such sacred things, should not be associated with darkness.

Therefore, given the conditions, Tichy Carr had to require the testing site to be bright and clean.
