HP: The Root of Everything - The Magician

In the hospital corridor.

Tichy Carr, wearing a deep red trench coat, led the way, followed closely by Vikman Karen, dressed in a black structured suit.

Teach opened the ward and saw a black-robed wizard pointing a wand at Machi, with magic flowing from the wand.

In an instant, Teach wanted to draw his gun and shoot him, but when he saw his Uncle Corey Cabbe looking at him with concern, he suppressed his murderous intent and questions, and stepped aside to wait with Corey.

A dozen minutes later, the black-robed wizard put away his wand, then nodded slightly to Teach Carl and said, "Thank you very much, Mr. Carl, for not shooting me in the head."

"You know, Mr. Karl, the murderous intent you just showed almost scared the crap out of me."

"Let me explain. I was just using the magic to help regulate the blood and qi in your mother's body. Although Mr. Corey Bab has taken meticulous care of her, a body that cannot move will eventually deteriorate."

Teach didn't intend to respond. After examining Machi's body with magic at the bedside, she felt relieved and turned to ask Vikman, "Mr. Vikman, do you know who this uninvited wizard is?"

"Hmph," Vikman snorted at the black-robed wizard and replied with great hostility, "His name is Joan Hanff, and he was sent by the Ministry of Magic."

After hearing Vikman's answer, Teach asked, "Mr. Hanf, which faction within the Ministry of Magic are you from? Who sent you?"

"Haha, who else could it be but Minister Kington Kitsch? I'm one of his subordinates in the Secret Service."

"Then what are you doing here?"

"Actually, it's nothing much. I just wanted to express Minister Kington's sincerity in cooperating with you and asked him to protect your mother. Although the minister stopped Chief Fudge from hunting you down, if Fudge really wanted to hunt you down, he would always find a way to do it."

Yoan Hanff’s words sounded well-intentioned, but Teach heard a different meaning in them: 'handle' and 'threat'.

They used his mother March's life and Corey Bab's life to blackmail him.

As Teach Carr's murderous intent resurfaced, Ioan immediately raised his hands to show his harmlessness and surrender, his face covered in cold sweat, and said in a slightly nervous and flippant tone, "Hey, Mr. Carr, don't try to kill me all the time. Do all you magicians have paranoia?"

"Minister Kington sent me here for no other reason than to provide protection. Otherwise, someone as lazy as me in the department wouldn't have volunteered for this assignment that would allow me to slack off for so long."

"You should know this... your mother is your weakness and Achilles' heel, so protecting her is essential."

"Heaven knows what kind of orders Mr. Vikman, that lackey of the British government and that wild wizard next to you, has received that would be detrimental to you."

This statement immediately drew an exceptionally strong rebuttal from Vikman: "What the hell are you saying to slander me? You're defaming me without any evidence, you know that? I'm going to sue you for defamation!"

“Mr. Teach Carr, he’s slandering me! He’s slandering me!”

Teach Carr listened to Vikman's desperate attempts to prove his innocence, a hint of mockery in his eyes.

Who to believe? Teach believes no one.

However, Teach couldn't refuse the people sent by both the government and the Anti-Magic Agency, as well as Kington Kitsch of the Ministry of Magic. If she refused, these two forces would continue to send people to surround Teach, using the guise of 'protection' to exert invisible pressure on her.

"Uncle Corey, come stand next to me for a moment, I have something good for you."

In the real world, the only person Teach can trust is Corey Bab, who is deeply in love with March.

After lifting Corey's clothes, Teach, in front of Joan and Vikman, openly inscribed magical runes on Corey's arm, creating a 'pseudo-magical circuit,' and then wrote a Flash Magic training circle in blood.

The only one who can truly protect Maggie closely is Corey Bab.

Therefore, Corey needs some extraordinary power.

With the ability to teleport, coupled with Corey's decades of experience as a mercenary, he could become a wizard killer.

Teach Carr's unvarnished depiction of magic didn't stem from concern that Joan and Vikman would memorize the magic arrays and take them back for study, because...

These pseudo-magic circuits and magic arrays can only be—taught or bestowed.

In other words, unless Teach Carr personally uses his magical spirit origin and life magic to inscribe and bestow it, no one else can expect to acquire magical power from scratch through copying and research.

Unless, another genuine magician appears.

Unfortunately, in the magical world of Harry Potter, there is only one true magician: Teach Carl.

Even if Hermione's magic reached the level of Teach's, she still couldn't teach or bestow pseudo-magical circuits and magic circles upon others.

Magic uses natural magic, while spells use the life force generated by an individual's physical body.

Both are indispensable and extremely important in their respective systems.

So, although Hermione Granger embarked on the path of magic with Teach Cal's help and became a magician, Hermione did not have a source of life magic within her, because she was a witch tainted by natural magic and therefore could not generate life magic.

Only by using pseudo-magic circuits to isolate natural magic and convert the essence and blood that overflow after the heartbeat can one obtain life magic and use magical power.

It was under Teach's tutelage in magic that Hermione was able to perform magic tricks and make the training array work.

No one can become a magician unless Teach Carr passes on his magic knowledge step by step.

After completing the circuit and the teleportation magic, Teach said to Corey Bab, "Try channeling the energy generated in your heart into your arm, and then into the teleportation magic circle on the back of your hand."

After Corey's instantaneous disappearance and reappearance, Dejan and Vikman frowned, their minds reeling: [It was so simple... that an ordinary person gained magical powers comparable to magic!]

This Teach Carr is a threat to the wizarding world, a huge threat.

Yoan Hanf was thinking of threats.

But what Vikman Karen was thinking about was the incompatibility between magic and sorcery, and the opposing values.

He was a free wizard by personal apprenticeship, and his teachers who taught him magic were also free wizards, as were his teachers' teachers. Therefore, these wild wizards with illegitimate origins have been looked down upon and despised by orthodox wizards from ancient times to the present.

They considered them inferior and less than the Mudbloods, deeming them a disgrace to magic and unworthy of learning it.

Therefore, Vikman accepted the British government's offer to recruit him to the Magic Agency, where he was joined by a group of wild wizards like himself.

Moreover, they all share the ambition and desire to overthrow the rule of the magical world and vindicate themselves.

Teach had no idea what the two scheming wizards were thinking. He was bestowing magical powers upon Corey in front of them to intimidate them.

They were intimidated and prevented from doing anything to Maggie under Corey's nose.

Corey looked at the magic circle on the back of his hand and understood Teach's intention. He lifted the corner of his shirt to reveal a pistol tucked into his waistband, making it clear to Joan and Vikman. The meaning was self-evident.
