The familiar swamp.

Teach Carr had thought he could leave this hellhole today, but he ended up back here again.

The three Aurors were clearly wary of the gun and explosives in Teach's hands, so they maintained a safe distance behind him and didn't get too close. They also noticed Teach's fatigue; if they could just stall him for time, they could safely complete the task Nicol had given them.

Why risk your life for a few hundred Galleons a month?

Didn't you see that one of my fellow wizards has already been killed?

Their staying away was exactly what Teach wanted.

Teach Carr quickly arrived at the swamp by running and teleporting. He deliberately acted as if he was in a panic, trying to lure the three wizards into giving him a chase.

To put it bluntly, the environment in which wizards live has kept their minds stuck in medieval thinking, completely lacking the scheming and backstabbing tactics of modern interpersonal relationships.

Moreover, the convenience of magic prevents them from utilizing and developing their intelligence.

Under Teach's flawed tactics, the three Auror wizards took the bait. Even though they were unfamiliar with the swamp and its hidden dangers, they still pursued him without suspicion.

Teach glanced back, a smirk playing on his lips.

After luring the wizard who wanted to kill him to the entrance of an anaconda's lair, Teach pulled out a bomb, lit it, and threw it inside.

After finishing, Teach used Flash to teleport towards the underground Bird Nest.

After a few flashes, Teach successfully entered, and his sudden appearance startled the peacefully sleeping Bird of the Ball, causing them to scatter and flee.

None of that mattered. Teach Carl clearly heard the explosion of the explosive charge and the ferocious roar of the anaconda underground. He could even feel the tremors underground.

After staying underground for a minute, Teach emerged to observe the situation. He saw the anaconda angrily chasing after the three Auror wizards, but the spells cast by the wizards had little effect on the twenty-meter-long anaconda.

The bulletproof defense of those scales is no joke.

Coupled with the magical resistance inherent in magical creatures, ordinary wizards were truly helpless against this giant anaconda, comparable to a 'dragon'. The appearance of the anaconda made the three Auror wizards consider retreating. But just as they were about to retreat, Teach appeared at the right time and fired a few shots at them in a provocative manner.

Given the chance, Teach Carr wouldn't let them go. A wizard with Apparition is a natural assassin, and he didn't want to be on their death list and have to guard against being killed day and night.

Therefore, Teach's deliberate exposure and counterattack provocation forced the wizard, who wanted to retreat, to stay and even bypass the anaconda to attack him.

But Titch wouldn't be affected by their curse.

It was another chase, a pursuit in which he had no chance of escape, but now a giant anaconda had joined the fray.

"One anaconda can't do anything to you, but what about two?" Teach fled in the opposite direction of the swamp. Upon reaching his destination, he used the same method to provoke and lure out another 20-meter-long anaconda.

This time, Teach didn't teleport underground because this area wasn't familiar to him in order to capture the Ball Bird.

Furthermore, Teach didn't know whether there were any nests of the Ball-Escape Birds underground. He didn't want to teleport into the ground and be buried alive without knowing the truth.

How could Teach not have thought of a way on his way into the swamp?

He remembered the assassin knowledge that Ma Qi taught him very clearly, and he reviewed it in his mind every day.

So Teach smeared the dung of a triangular crocodile he picked up along the way on his body to completely mask his scent, making the enraged anaconda believe that the Auror wizard had destroyed his nest.

Two sworn enemies, the serpents, stood facing each other, while in the corner, three wizards had grim and uncertain expressions on their faces.

Meanwhile, Teach Carr, undeterred by the dirt, lay in the mud, gun in hand, watching the spectacle.

The two anacondas had become friends and reached an agreement while staring into each other's eyes: they would deal with the wizard first, and then fight.

The three Auror wizards were terrified when they saw the two giant pythons simultaneously unleash their massive jaws on them. They quickly cast defensive spells and various offensive magic to fight back and save their lives.

Teach wouldn't let this chaotic opportunity slip by.

He concealed himself, attached a silencer to a sniper rifle, aimed the red dot at a wizard who was frantically running around being attacked by anacondas, and pulled the trigger.

A bullet pierced his brain, and a successful Auror who had completed seven years of compulsory education at Hogwarts died from Teach Carr's counterattack. He was then swallowed whole by the pursuing anaconda, leaving no trace of his body.

Upon seeing another colleague die, the two surviving wizards, for the sake of their own lives, disregarded the tasks assigned by Nicol and prepared to use Apparition to escape.

But Teach, hidden in the mud, fired two shots, interrupting their spellcasting.

Do snakes have hearing? I don't think so.

Therefore, in the chaos, Teach could fire at the two wizards without worrying about the sound of gunfire giving him away.

The Auror wizard could only use defensive spells to defend himself against the deadly bullets that came his way from time to time. At the same time, he had to avoid the giant jaws of the anaconda and maneuver between the two giant snakes.

After several attempts to chase and bite the troublesome little thief, the anaconda lost interest in the pursuit. Large animals don't waste their energy on fruitless endeavors.

Teach Carr is an assassin, an assassin who excels at striking with deadly precision.

He clearly observed the two Auror wizards relaxing as they escaped the anaconda's jaws after it abandoned its pursuit. Seizing that moment of relaxation, Teach pulled the trigger without the slightest hesitation.

The muffled blast of the silenced gunshot took away the Auror wizard who had breathed a sigh of relief and hadn't activated his defensive spells.

Watching his remaining comrades die, the surviving Auror was filled with fear, fear of Teach Carl, this Muggle.

He began to panic, he began to tremble, and he didn't think of running for his life at the first moment.

So Teach fired another shot, piercing his hand that was holding the wand.

Just like in Croton Cemetery, Teach fired three shots, accurately piercing the limbs of the surviving Auror wizard, rendering him without his wand and unable to move.

Having successfully turned the tables, Teach Carr slowly rose from the mud after confirming that the anaconda had left, and walked toward the wizard struggling in the reeds.

With a sniper rifle pressed against Auror's forehead, Teach asked coldly, "Tell me, why are you chasing me?"

Under Teach Carl's death threat, the Auror revealed everything.

Upon hearing that March had been approached by the Aurors because of his son's actions, Teach felt immense guilt and prayed that March would be safe and sound.

But when Teach learned about Nickel's character from this Auror, he had a bad feeling.

Worry, anger, and self-blame.

Teach dared not linger. After mercilessly shooting the cowardly Auror to death, he put away his wands, quickly squeezed life magic from his magic circuits, and teleported to the spiral plane that he had initially concealed.

Then start the plane's engines and rush home.
