HP: The Root of Everything - The Magician

After regaining his footing, Dumbledore shook his robes and turned around. He was so shocked by Xia Ke's appearance in her dragon girl form that he was speechless and remained silent for a long, long time.

After a long while, Dumbledore dejectedly put away the Elder Wand, turned to Shake with a kind smile, and said, "Oh, it's Miss Shake. It's been three years since we last saw each other since you graduated from Hogwarts!"

"How are things going? Are you enjoying working in the magic department that I, the principal, recommended?"

Shake is a student at Hogwarts. She is 20 years old this year and has been out of school for 3 years. Because of her excellent performance in magic studies, she was recommended by Headmaster Dumbledore to work at the Ministry of Magic.

As Shake listened to Dumbledore's kind inquiry, she was somewhat at a loss for words. Just as she was struggling with her question, Teach Carr walked over gracefully and said, "Headmaster Dumbledore, you may not know this, but Shake has left the Ministry of Magic and is now working for me, a member of the Carr family."

"Her name is now Shakka Carr, not the former Shakka McFastie."

After speaking, Teach gave Xia Ke a look, and Xia Ke obeyed and transformed back into human form. Then, she used her natural magic to retrieve a leaf from a distance, transformed it into a piece of clothing, and put it on.

Dumbledore's aged but piercing eyes swept around, glancing at Yeva/Sibyl and the others who had gathered around, before fixing his gaze on Teach Carr: "...Mr. Carr, in a few days it will be time for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to return to school after the holidays. I hope you and Miss Hermione Granger can report on time."

After saying this, Dumbledore took one last look at Shake and then Apparated away.

After packing a few simple items into his bag, Teach Carr was still wearing a deep red formal trench coat and his long hair was tied up with a red string and draped over his shoulders.

Xia Ke wore a black sun hat and a fitted casual outfit made from a dark blue evening gown.

Shake and Teach stood side by side outside the door. Shake gave little Hermione a flamboyant smile, then provocatively took Teach's arm. They looked like a handsome and elegant couple.

Hermione was seeing Shakky for the first time, and at first glance, she felt a strong sense of repulsion towards this beautiful stranger standing next to her teacher, Teach.

Upon closer inspection, Hermione's initial rejection of Shakky's provocative assertion of sovereignty instantly escalated into hostility—hostility stemming from a sense of crisis and jealousy.

It was jealousy, jealousy that Xia Ke, a mature woman, could so openly take her teacher Teach's arm.

Thus, both women/girls were filled with jealousy towards each other.

Nevertheless, Hermione, with her good upbringing and polite manners, smiled again and asked Teach, "Teacher, who is this elegant and beautiful lady...?"

Just as Teach was about to introduce her, Shake stepped forward and said, "Please call me Mrs. Carl, or...Mrs. Hermione?"

These words struck Hermione like a thunderbolt, leaving her utterly stunned: [Wh...what? What is this wretched woman, the woman who has taken over my teacher's arm?]

Seeing little Hermione standing there dumbfounded, Xia Ke teased her with a playful laugh, "Hermione, be good, call me 'Master's Wife' and let me hear it."

Tichy snapped out of the struggle between the two women and, seeing Hermione's clenched fists and the magic flowing from the Great Strength spell on her arm, quickly explained, "Hermione, calm down. Miss Shakky is just teasing you."

After saying that, Teach gave Xia Ke a warning look, which made Xia Ke feel a little wronged.

The clever Hermione, upon hearing Teach address Shackleton as "Miss" in his words, immediately began to analyze the relationship between her teacher and this despicable woman.

Just as Hermione's mind was about to explode with thought, Teach flicked her forehead: "You underage kid, don't think so much. Miss Shake is a member of my Karl family. Have you packed your luggage?"

After hearing the explanation, Hermione nodded, clutching her aching forehead, and said, "I've already packed up and am just waiting for you to pick me up, teacher."

Hermione gave Shakky a disdainful raised eyebrow and a smile before running back to her room to get her suitcase: [Hmph, that wretched woman!]

As Xia Ke watched Hermione run upstairs, she bit her red lips in resentment, feeling a bit frantic: [Ugh, that wretched little brat!]

The Grangers came out of the kitchen.

When Mr. Granger first met Teach Carr, he keenly noticed the trust and dependence that his daughter Hermione had on Teach. At first, he didn't think much of it; it's normal for a disciple to depend on his teacher.
