HP: The Root of Everything - The Magician

When Albus Dumbledore volunteered to fight, Teach tilted his head and smiled slightly.

Without waiting for orders, Andrei stepped forward, stood before Dumbledore with his hands at his sides, and said, "Isn't it a bit too direct of you to challenge my master, bypassing me, your servant, Mr. Headmaster?"

Teach, sipping his tea in response to Dumbledore's questioning gaze, said, "Just as Andre said, Headmaster Dumbledore, you'd better get past him first."

The battle took place in the courtyard of the castle, and Teach did not disperse the curious maids and servants who came to watch.

This magical battle will allow these servants to directly experience the extraordinary life they will have serving the Karl family.

After giving Dumbledore a polite and respectful bow, Andri began to reveal his dragon arm, while a vast amount of natural magic gathered around him.

This dragon arm, along with the phenomenon of humans transforming into dragons, shocked and intrigued the white wizard Dumbledore.

The immense magical power that could be felt without even looking at it made Dumbledore extremely wary.

He had only ever experienced such magical power in his lifetime with Voldemort Tom.

After Andri's magic gathered around him and formed a cycle, it began to radiate outwards, generating magical pressure and creating an aura similar to a domain.

This aura made the servants watching the battle from the castle windows feel dizzy, and those with weaker constitutions even had nosebleeds. Their hearts raced and their blood flow was obstructed.

This was only because Andri was controlling the aura of this domain, without affecting the servants.

As Andrei suppressed and locked onto Dumbledore with his aura, Teach keenly noticed that Dumbledore's knees bent slightly downwards before quickly returning to their normal position.

This scene brought a smug smile to Teach's lips: "It seems that the power and strength of Andri and the other dragon shamans have exceeded my expectations in their effect on traditional wizards!"

Within Andre's aura, Dumbledore straightened his bent knee and hurriedly waved the Elder Wand, silently casting a spell: "[Protect all, guard peace]."

Both of these spells are defensive spells that are more advanced and powerful than armor.

With Dumbledore's vast magical power and extraordinary control, the protection he received was unparalleled.

Andri's aura swept everything in the courtyard away, but Dumbledore, under the protection/guardian spell, remained unmoved, clearly no longer affected by the aura: "Ah~, this Dragon Arm Guardian is so powerful, it makes this old man feel like he's facing both Grindelwald and Voldemort Tom at the same time."

Before Dumbledore could finish his thought, Andrei moved. He stepped onto the ground with one foot and closed in on Dumbledore at lightning speed, then delivered a simple punch.

Unlike armor, the protection/guardian spell doesn't form a shield around the body, but rather a thin film on the body's surface—a film that can resist magical attacks.

Therefore, after Dumbledore saw through Andre's pure straight punch, he used the Transformation Charm to dodge it in time.

While dodging, the Elder Wand emitted a flame, which then rapidly expanded and engulfed Andrei.

That wasn't all. After teleporting, Dumbledore regained his footing, then waved the Elder Wand to increase the magical output to the flames, causing them to gradually shrink and engulf Andrei in a fireball.

After the fireball formed, Dumbledore looked at Teach. He didn't ask whether the fireball would burn Teach's servant to death. Instead, seeing that Teach was still drinking tea without any sign of worry, he understood that his magical attack wouldn't kill Andrei.

Thus, his own magic was amplified again through the Elder Wand, causing the fireball's temperature to suddenly intensify dramatically.

The extremely high temperature of the flames caused the ground beneath the fireball to be carbonized and crystallized.

The extreme heat caused the castle's glass windows to melt, and the servants watching the battle were burned simply by being exposed to the heatwave.

The servants quickly retreated from the corridor, but some did not want to miss this unprecedented magical duel in their world.

They didn't want to miss it; they wanted to witness the extraordinary and the remarkable firsthand.

Even as the heat scalded their skin, they refused to back down, determined to see the last servants. A yearning, a selfish greed, rose within them, and they thought, 'I also want to become like them, extraordinary and exceptional.'

Teach liked this kind of desire and greed.

Because these ordinary people want to become extraordinary, and only Teach Carr's 'magic' can help them achieve that.

As the fireball continued to burn, Andri saw that the servants watching the battle had reached their limit of bravado, so he raised his dragon arm and released magic, tearing the fireball that surrounded and imprisoned him to shreds with a single claw.

After the fireball dissipated, Andri was unharmed, though his body was burning hot and red.

The extremely high level of fire that Dumbledore unleashed could not burn Andrei in the slightest. The skin and defenses of their dragon witches were so strong that they weren't even afraid of Shake's Fiery Blaze.

Seeing that only Andre's upper body clothes were burned away, Dumbledore was immediately shocked by the result.

He launched the fireball, constantly injecting magic to increase the burning temperature, while Dumbledore kept a close eye on Andre's condition inside.

He realized that Andri, who was completely unharmed, had taken the magical fireball with his own body.

This unexpected situation, which even overturned the wizarding community's understanding, must have left Dumbledore completely dumbfounded.

These dozens of streams of water poured towards Andrei.

Since Teach brought Andrei and five of his people back to the castle, the servants have witnessed so many wonders that they have become somewhat numb with awe.

Although my emotions were numb from the shock, my longing, desire, and greed grew stronger every minute and every second.

The more extraordinary power one witnesses, the more one realizes one's own insignificance, and therefore, the more one desires to obtain it.

As Dumbledore poured his water, Andrei emitted large amounts of steam.
