Imprisoning the Black Moonlight

When Pudu came in with a bunch of fruit, Yao Gongyue had already finished lunch. She refused to let the nurses and the maid Xiaobai who came with her accompany her. She wandered around the ward as if nothing was wrong, knocking here and looking there, restless and uneasy.

"Little fairy, what's wrong?" The boy's face was flushed with shyness and his ears were red. This was the closest he could get to her. Despite the butler's constant hints, he still went without hesitation.

"I'm curious—" Yao Gongyue saw someone come in, awkwardly sat down on the sofa, flicked her slightly curled long hair behind her ear, and continued in a lazy and casual manner, "Does Hong Jin know that you call me that?"

"I, I—" Pudu nervously curled his fingers, which were hanging at his sides, and stammered as he turned his face away, standing there frozen, unsure whether to go forward or retreat.

The boy immediately raised his head, excitedly meeting her beautiful eyes. "You only like sweet things?" He then rummaged through the fruit plate, picking out the sweet fruits and presenting them to her like treasures. "These are all sweet. From now on, I'll bring you the sweetest things every day!"

"The future?" Yao Gongyue frowned. "What nonsense about the future! This fairy can't even stand it for a day longer, where would the future come from?"

She smiled awkwardly, politely accepted the food, but still didn't eat it, placing it on the coffee table in front of her.

The beautiful young girl, her face full of innocence, played with the knife a few times. A sly glint appeared in her bright eyes. She used the tip of the knife to stab a piece of unknown fruit, put it in her mouth, and smiled wickedly, "So delicious!"

When asked, "Is it okay?", the machine nodded mechanically, "Okay! Okay!"

"I heard from the housekeeper that your name is Pudu, isn't it?" Her bewitching eyes swept over the boy's reddened earlobes and the sweat beading on his forehead, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. "Well~ little Dudu, this is our secret. Don't tell anyone!"

Her restless little fingers almost touched the man's tightly pursed lips. Pudu, unable to resist such teasing, stared at the girl so close to him with bloodshot eyes, his reason consumed by a raging fire. The devil's voice echoed in his mind, "Take her, take her, hide her..."

"Alright, I'm tired! After all, patients need more rest, right?" Yao Gongyue withdrew her playful finger and looked meaningfully at the boy in front of her. "But that nurse keeps disturbing me! I can't even sleep peacefully!"

"You go to sleep, I'll go keep watch at the door!" Pudu regained his senses and jumped up from the sofa.

Pudu nodded stiffly, hummed in agreement, and left the ward.

Yao Gongyue's smile vanished instantly. She pouted and ran into the bathroom.
