Rebirth with a Space to Counterattack and Abuse the Scumbag

Chapter 56 The Grand Showdown: The Scumbag Revealed

The dim light in the warehouse made it impossible for me to see Gu Yuan's expression, but the chill in his tone was like an icicle piercing me.

"Miao Qing, you'd better explain what you're doing here in the middle of the night." He paused, his gaze falling on the file folder tightly clutched in Liu Zhengqing's hand, a glint of shrewdness flashing in his eyes. "What's that?"

I took a deep breath and forced myself to calm down.

Things were worse than I imagined; Lu Zhan actually brought in reinforcements so quickly.

I gripped the other copy of the evidence tightly in my hand, my palms slightly sweaty.

“Vice Principal, we…” Liu Zhengqing started to speak, but I interrupted him.

“Vice Principal Gu, I think you’ll be very interested in these things.” I said calmly, stepped forward, and handed over the file bag in my hand. “Inside are evidence of Lu Zhan’s collusion with off-campus companies to embezzle school funds.”

Gu Yuan's expression changed drastically. He snatched the file bag and began flipping through it quickly.

His face grew increasingly pale, eventually turning almost ashen.

The air seemed to freeze; the warehouse was eerily quiet, save for the sound of Gu Yuan flipping through documents.

After a long silence, he raised his head, looked at me with a complicated expression, then glanced at Liu Zhengqing behind me, and softened his tone, "Miao Qing, this matter is of great importance. Are you sure this evidence is true?"

I nodded without hesitation: "Absolutely true."

Gu Yuan sighed, seemingly weighing something.

“Well then, I will investigate this matter personally. But I hope…” He paused, his tone becoming meaningful, “I hope this matter won’t escalate, after all, it concerns the school’s reputation.”

"Make a scene?" I sneered. "Vice Principal Gu, is protecting criminals the best way to maintain the school's reputation?"

Just then, a commotion arose outside, seemingly a premonition that a school-wide assembly was about to begin.

Gu Yuan glanced at his watch, his expression growing even more anxious.

"Miao Qing, I hope you will carefully consider my suggestion. We can resolve this matter privately."

"Resolve it privately?" I repeated his words, but my resolve only grew stronger.

Lu Zhan's actions must be made public!

I turned to look at Liu Zhengqing. His firm gaze gave me tremendous encouragement.

“Vice Principal Gu, I think you should know that some things cannot be covered up.” My tone was firm and left no room for argument.

Gu Yuan gave me a deep look, and finally sighed helplessly, "Fine, since you insist, I have nothing more to say. But you'll have to bear the consequences." With that, he turned and left the warehouse.

I turned to look at Lu Zhan. His face was pale and his eyes were darting around; he was clearly panicked.

"Lu Zhan, do you have anything else to say?" I asked in a cold tone, tinged with sarcasm.

He forced himself to remain calm and said stubbornly, "Miao Qing, don't make false accusations! I have no idea what you're talking about!"

I sneered, ignoring his sophistry, and headed straight for the conference podium.

The school-wide assembly has begun, and the audience is filled with students and teachers.

My appearance caused quite a stir.

I took a deep breath, picked up the microphone, and cleared my throat.

"Students and teachers, today I'm going to expose the true face of a hypocrite!" My voice resounded throughout the hall, and everyone's eyes were on me.

Lu Zhan's face grew even uglier. He stared intently at me, his eyes filled with resentment.

I held the file bag high in my hand: "Inside here is evidence of Lu Zhan colluding with an off-campus company to embezzle school funds!" My words were like a bomb, causing an uproar in the meeting room.

There was an uproar in the audience and everyone was talking about it.

I glanced around at the audience and continued, "Not only that..." I paused, took out a stack of photos from another file folder, "and here's more..." I deliberately paused, seeing that Lu Zhan's face had turned a deep purplish-red, before slowly saying, "Evidence of Lu Zhan deceiving girls' feelings."

Lu Zhan suddenly stood up, pointed at me, and shouted, "You're talking nonsense! You're slandering me!"

I sneered, ignoring his shouts, and instead displayed the photos one by one on the projector...

“This…” A girl covered her mouth, looking at the photo on the projector in disbelief.

My words were like a thunderclap, resounding throughout the meeting hall.

In the photos, Lu Zhan is seen being intimate with different girls. The sweet text messages and payment records of him tricking girls into spending money on him are all laid bare before the public.

The audience erupted in uproar, with accusations and insults rising and falling.

Lu Zhan's face turned from white to red, then from red to green, and finally to a liver color. His lips trembled, but he couldn't utter a single word.

I could even see fine beads of sweat on his forehead, glistening pathetically under the light.

I pressed my advantage and pulled out more evidence from the file folder, including detailed accounts of his embezzlement of student council funds and contracts with off-campus organizations that lured students into paying exorbitant training fees.

Every piece of evidence is irrefutable and leaves no room for him to deny it.

He was like a rabbit stripped naked, his ugly form exposed to everyone.

"What else do you have to say?" I stared at him coldly, my tone devoid of any warmth.

He opened his mouth, but no sound came out. He could only slump helplessly in the chair, his eyes vacant, like a defeated rooster.

I saw a flash of despair and regret in his eyes, but more than anything, there was resentment and malice.

He glared at me fiercely, his eyes like a poisoned dagger, as if he wanted to tear me to pieces.

A surge of pleasure welled up inside me. This was exactly what I wanted—to ruin his reputation and let him taste the bitterness of hell!

Just then, a deep voice came from the back of the hall: "Enough." I turned around and saw a middle-aged man in a suit walking slowly onto the stage. He had a serious face and a powerful aura, and the people around him automatically made way for him.

My heart sank and an ominous premonition came over me.

He walked up to me, scrutinized me sharply, and then slowly said, "This matter ends here."
