The Young Swordsman of Dalu

At lunchtime, Hai Huashan led Wenfei to the main hall, where the manor lord, Hai Yitian, had returned from outside and was sitting at the main table preparing to eat.

"Father! This is Young Master Wen from Yulu. He has come to visit the manor." Hai Huashan introduced Wen Fei to Hai Yitian.

Hai Yitian lowered his head and asked, "What is your relationship with Prince Wen Tao?"

“Wen Tao is my father, and I am the fourth son in the Wenwang Mansion,” Wen Fei said, bowing respectfully.

"Father, shall we go to the other courtyard?" Hai Huashan was surprised that Hai Yitian was so dismissive of Wen Fei.

"You can decide what to do yourself." Hai Yitian had already picked up his chopsticks and started eating.

"Young Master Wen, please follow me!" Hai Huashan said awkwardly.

Wenfei didn't care about Hai Yitian's indifferent attitude towards him.

"Master Hai, I apologize for disturbing you so abruptly." After saying this, Wenfei followed Hai Huashan out of the main hall.

"Young Master Wen, I'm so sorry. My father isn't usually like this. I don't know what's wrong with him today. Please forgive him," Hai Huashan said apologetically.

"It's alright!" Wenfei said.

"Second Brother, why are you being so polite to him?" Hai Qingyun appeared in front of them.

“Little sister, you mustn’t be rude. Young Master Wen is a guest of our manor,” Hai Huashan reprimanded.

"I don't care! Second brother, you have to play with me now!" Hai Qingyun said coquettishly, tugging at Hai Huashan's arm.

"Little sister, you go find Third Aunt first, I'll come find you later," Hai Huashan comforted her.

"No! I'll let you come with me to Third Aunt's place." Hai Qingyun stubbornly clung to Hai Huashan, refusing to let go.

Wenfei couldn't stand this girl's constant chatter in front of him, so he said, "Young Master Hai, you should go and keep Miss Hai company. Don't worry about me."

"That won't do, you haven't eaten yet," Hai Huashan said with difficulty.

"It's okay, I'll go out to eat," Wenfei said.

"Qingyun, come to Second Madam's place and walk with me." Second Madam Hai beckoned to Hai Qingyun.

"Second brother isn't playing with you anymore, I'm going to keep Second Mother company." Hai Qingyun wiped away her tears and ran to Second Madam Hai's side.

"Huashan, whose young master is this? He's so handsome." Madam Hai asked Wenfei.

"Second Madam, this is Young Master Wen from the capital. Young Master Wen is my Second Madam," Hai Huashan introduced.

"Greetings, Second Madam," Wen Fei bowed and greeted her.

"Alright, you can go now!" Madam Hai said, and walked forward with Hai Qingyun.

"Young Master Wen, let's go to the other courtyard," Hai Huashan said.

"I will follow Young Master Hai's arrangements," Wen Fei said.

Upon arriving at the villa, Haihuashan instructed his servants to bring up the food.

"Young Master Wen, there's some wine here. I'll have a couple of drinks with you. This is brewed by our own manor using seawater and wheat. Please have a taste." Hai Huashan poured the wine into a glass and placed it in front of Wen Fei.

"Thank you for your hospitality, Young Master Hai, but I never drink alcohol," Wen Fei declined.

"What a waste of this fine wine," Hai Huashan said.

After lunch, Wenfei was about to say goodbye to Haihua Mountain. He felt that Haifeng Villa was very strange and he was very uncomfortable staying there. He wanted to leave this place as soon as possible.

“Young Master Hai, I must take my leave now. I apologize for disturbing you today. Master Hai is very busy, so I will not say goodbye to him. Please convey my gratitude to Haifeng Manor for their warm hospitality,” Wenfei said.

"Young Master Wen has come all this way, why not stay a little longer? There are still so many beautiful sights to see here," Hai Huashan urged.

"Hang this woman up and beat her until she dies!" Hai Yitian's furious voice came from deep within the courtyard.

Wenfei quickly walked out of the courtyard, bowed to Haihua Mountain to say goodbye, mounted his horse, and left this place of trouble.

Wenfei rode ahead and saw the servants of Haifeng Manor forcing the man who had run out earlier to the seashore. The servants pressed forward, and the man could only retreat. Just as he was about to fall into the sea, the man shouted loudly at Haifeng Manor, "Hai Yitian, I, Lu Maohan, will haunt you even as a ghost! Your Hai family will just have to wait for retribution!" After saying that, he turned around and threw himself into the turbulent sea.

Wen Fei spurred his horse forward, but before he could even make a move to save Lu Maohan, he saw Lu Maohan jump into the sea right in front of him. Enraged, Wen Fei slapped his horse hard, and the horse leaped into the air and neighed.

The servants of Haifeng Manor looked at Wen Fei with disdain and walked past him. Wen Fei wished he could dismount and beat them up.

After the servants of Haifeng Manor left, Wen Fei dismounted and went to the seaside. He looked into the sea, but Lu Maohan had long since disappeared as the waves crashed against him.
