Another World: The Failed Magician

After playing with the kitten for a while, Lu Xuan washed the kitten's food bowl and put it back in his room.

Lu Xuan walked towards the meditation room inside the Frunze Academy, which was specially prepared for magicians.

Lu Xuan opened the door to his usual meditation room, sat cross-legged on the cushion, and placed a low-quality magic crystal into the groove of the meditation room. As the magic crystal was placed in, the magical elements in the meditation room began to visibly thicken. Lu Xuan pressed the button in his hand to close the door of the meditation room and began his meditation for the day.

After a long time, the sun slowly set. When the last bit of energy in the magic crystal was exhausted, Lu Xuan opened the door to the meditation room and took the magic crystal, now devoid of magic power, out of the room.

Standing at the entrance of the meditation room, feeling the surge of magic power within his body, Lu Xuan sighed helplessly. His magic power had not increased for a long time, and even though he persisted in meditating every day, there was no sign of a breakthrough in his cultivation level.

Lu Xuan returned to his room along the way, and unlike usual, he saw a golden figure standing at the door of his room.

The golden figure was none other than Rhodes. Rhodes also saw Lu Xuan and walked towards him.

Lu Xuan asked with some confusion, "What?"

When Lu Xuan spoke, he clearly sensed a hint of anger on Rod's somewhat immature yet resolute face, but he quickly suppressed it.

Suppressing his anger, Rhodes said, "Since you've already said I'm a student at this academy, aren't you going to introduce it to me, senior?"

Lu Xuan said expressionlessly, "Isn't it a bit late today? If you wanted to learn about this academy, why didn't you come to me earlier? Also, let me correct you, I'm not your senior, I'm not a student of this academy."

But Rod patiently spoke up, "Mr. Lu Xuan, may I have the honor of having you show me around this academy?"

Just as Lu Xuan was about to refuse, he saw Rhodes take out a low-grade magic crystal from his spatial ring and wave it back and forth in his hand, the meaning of which was self-evident.

After speaking, Lu Xuan adopted the posture of a tour guide and led Rhodes around the Frunze Academy.
