Los strolled through the village as if taking a leisurely walk after a meal.

Some villagers also saw Los and his group, but without exception, they only dared to watch from a distance, and no one dared to go forward.

Led by Los in a leisurely stroll, the group arrived at an unremarkable little wooden house after quite some time.

More and more villagers gathered to watch.

Seeing this, one of the people in the crowd behind Los spoke up with some dissatisfaction.

"Loss, you did this on purpose, didn't you?"

His tone was full of dissatisfaction.

Los didn't care at all; his reply was flat and even somewhat perfunctory.

"I don't think you care about such a small detail."

Before the man could say anything more, someone next to him grabbed his right hand.

The man shook his head at him.

The person who was speaking could only give Los a dissatisfied look before falling silent.

Los looked at the peaceful wooden house in front of him.

"Village Chief, look how impatient our guests are! Aren't you going to come out and greet them?"

As soon as he finished speaking, the wooden door creaked open and an old man with a cane walked out.

The old man did not respond to Los immediately, but instead looked at the people standing behind Los.

"Is the Loca Federation going to get involved in this? I remember I have no grudges against you, right?"

The people behind Los acted as if they hadn't heard him at all, and no one responded.

Los spoke with some impatience.

After hearing this, the old man looked around and saw the villagers standing at a distance, watching everything that was happening. He sighed helplessly.

Several villagers, seeing the village chief's lonely figure, were tempted to go forward, but were held back by the other villagers.

But the village chief was still unwilling to give up. He looked at the people behind Los and continued to speak.

"Do you know what's hidden behind this wooden house? It's a magic array used to seal away the demons, allowing them to return to the continent. Can your Loca Federation bear the responsibility for this crime?"

The old man's tone was very serious, but the people behind him remained calm and did not answer.

Los looked at the old man with a mocking expression.

“I’m not like you. I always make sure everything is clear before I work with anyone. Of course they know what I’m planning to do.”

The village chief's hand trembled slightly as he gripped his cane, and he looked at the villagers standing in the distance with a hint of resentment.

"What are you doing? Why are you standing there? Have you forgotten your duty? As descendants of heroes, it is your responsibility to protect this magic circle!"

The old man roared loudly, and the villagers' expressions were complicated, their eyes filled with all sorts of emotions as they looked at him.

Los looked at the old man and sneered.

"Even now, are you still saying these things? Since you don't want to talk about it, I'll help you."

As he spoke, Los looked around at the villagers.

"Why do you think no one in our village lives past thirty? How can that great array sealing the demons have existed for so many years? The responsibility he spoke of is the root of the curse that has lasted for so many years. That sealing array is maintained by absorbing our lives."
