When the necromancer raised his head, Stella understood what it meant for a heart filled with despair to become a tangible reality.

Charlie the vampire seemed to adapt quite well, and after a few words of coaxing, he took him away.

Stella's gaze fell on the monitor, and an idea popped into her head.

Could it be that they went back because of the flower buds that the necromancer had his eye on?

Stella was unsure and decided to put it off for the time being, but she flew back to the Elf King and told him about it.

The Elf King summoned Robert again and ordered him to make another trip to the Dark Forest to examine Anna.

Fortunately, the test results were good. Anna had been in the Dark Forest for almost five hundred years, and everything that was supposed to be healed had healed, leaving no trace.

Robert had initially doubted the veracity of the matter, but since the Elf King had not spoken, he remained silent.

Although Stella did not leave with Catherine, she often received letters from Catherine and was quite well-informed about what was happening around her.

In her letter, Catherine used coded language to mention that someone was secretly helping her, but she always felt something was off.

Although her subsequent transactions with other short-lived species seemed to go smoothly, the other party's rejection of her almost reached its peak.

Despite her eyes and body language clearly showing her dislike for her, Catherine was forced to trade precious items from her tribe with her, leading her to consider threats.

Upon seeing the letter, Stella quickly realized who was behind it all. She approached the Elf King and asked, "Your Majesty, if I reveal the existence of the traitor to Catherine, will it disrupt your plans?"

“No,” said the Elf King, “you can tell her that.”

"This can be considered as creating a suitable opportunity for them."

Stella followed the Elf King's advice and sent back some of the information she knew to Catherine, along with a communication mirror.

When she figured the letter should be delivered soon, Stella didn't put the mirror back into her storage ring, but instead carried it with her.

Before resting that night, the communication mirror was slightly warm; it was Catherine contacting her.

"My king, I'm going to take this call," she said, and then flew from the window to the small house next door that was specially built for her to resemble a treehouse. This small house was a near-perfect replica of the dwelling of a normal little fairy in the fairy realm.

Stella connected to the mirror: "Good night, Catherine."

“Good night, teacher,” Catherine relaxed when she saw Stella’s familiar face. “After I received your letter, I set a trap for them, and they sure did slip up.”

"I never expected to be so powerful. Before the curse was even lifted, I've already attracted the investment of those who betrayed the gods."

Stella comforted her, saying, "You are wonderful in your own right."

Catherine smiled, then straightened her expression: "I've been thinking about it today. Whatever those two traitors did, they're friendly and beneficial to me. So, if the opportunity arises later, I'll probably..."

She pursed her lips and finished her sentence: "I think I'll most likely 'reconcile' with them, but don't worry, teacher, I won't actually become one of them."

“I believe you,” Stella seemed oblivious to the true thoughts behind her words. “After all, our meeting must have been guided by the gods, otherwise why would I suddenly appear in your yard?”

"The Elf Forest is quite far from your home! So, I believe you would never actually become a traitor to the gods."

Catherine paused for a moment, then blinked. "What the teacher said is true. There was no magic circle, and no one was alerted. Our meeting must be due to the blessing of the gods."

“Yes,” Stella said, regardless of whether Catherine truly believed it or not. At least in front of her, God was the best.

Catherine had actually stopped believing in God a long time ago, which is why, when she learned that the one who approached her was a traitor to God, she put aside her curse and hatred and felt that the other party could be used.

As for why such deep hatred could be temporarily set aside, it is because Catherine is a noblewoman from the Eugene family and received a noble education from a young age.

She knew perfectly well that the real priority was to use everything she could to improve her own life; hatred and shame didn't matter.

If she can become a Dharma Saint or even a Dharma God in the future, she will be able to control her own destiny.

Even if all else fails, by relying on the power of the rebels, she can reach a marriage agreement with the Crown Prince of the Xue'an Empire and successfully become the future Queen of the Xue'an Empire. She can then use her bloodline to try and become the Queen of the Xue'an Empire.

But after hearing Stella's words, she became somewhat unsure.

Was she really right to do that?

Although the gods did not respond to her directly, they truly brought Stella to her side.

Stella increased her magic, which led her to Master Robert, from whom she obtained the method to break the curse.

From this perspective, Stella might be seen as a sign of divine favor.

Sometimes, it may only take a short while to go from giving up faith in a deity to becoming a steadfast believer again.

Stella stopped there, telling Catherine, "While I believe you can handle it, Catherine, I still have to remind you."

"From what I've heard about the rebels, there are many lunatics of all kinds, and sometimes their actions cannot be explained by common sense."

"If you want to use them to achieve your goals, you must be careful and not let them drag you into the abyss."

“Okay,” Catherine replied gently and obediently, “I’ll do whatever you say, teacher.”

If Stella didn't know what kind of person Catherine really was, and only looked at her behavior in front of her, she felt she wouldn't be able to help but worry.

Because Catherine, who was in front of her, had always been a lovely girl, except for the first time they met.

Stella hesitated for a moment, then told her, "You can contact me anytime if you need to. If you're too scared, I'll try to get permission from the elders to visit you, okay?"

Catherine's eyes lit up, but she still refused.

"Thank you, Stella, but you should stay in the Elf Forest. I don't have the ability to protect you right now. It's too dangerous for a fairy cub like you to be on the mainland."

"It would be great if we could talk to each other more often through the communication mirror, like we are now."

"I miss you so much, but I hope that next time I stand in front of you, I can make you even more proud to introduce me to your friends."

Stella felt she was starting to see Catherine through a lens of romantic love.

It would be strange if Stella didn't have a soft spot for such a beautiful and adorable disciple who behaved so well in front of her. Although this didn't affect Stella's normal judgment.

Stella agreed, and together with Catherine, they reluctantly hung up the communication, preparing to fly out of the hut to find the Elf King.

But the moment the door to the small house was opened, it was slammed shut again.

Stella paused, then awkwardly reopened the door and greeted Lucas, who was standing outside with a face several times larger than the door and a resentful expression.

"It's so late, Lucas, what brings you here all of a sudden?"
