Stella discovered the Elf King's thoughts and stopped caring about Eugene's antics before the 100-day celebration.

As the darling of the elves, she was accompanying the king to receive foreign guests for the nth time.

The reason they brought this up specifically is because they are meeting with merfolk guests today.

Like elves, mermaids are also highly praised for their beauty and singing voice.

However, Stella was actually more interested in a branch of the mermaid race, the sirens, who were relatively more ferocious and bloodthirsty.

It is said that the siren's song is so enchanting that it can cause ships to lose their way at sea.

The beauty of sirens can also drive sailors mad, causing them to willingly venture into the sea.

Unfortunately, after finally receiving her guests, Stella did not see the siren she wanted to see, and even the mermaids who came to participate in the celebration disappointed her.

Perhaps because they were on land, their fish tails turned into feet, and although their clothes were decorated with many seashells and pearls, they did not immediately amaze Stella.

In response, Stella's friend Blue astutely observed, "As the most favored creation of the gods, no one can surpass the Elf King in appearance."

“Stella, you’re always by the King’s side, and you’re surrounded by the best of the elves. Your taste has become quite refined without you even realizing it.”

"It's understandable that you don't think they're particularly beautiful."

Stella thought about it carefully and found it completely impossible to refute.

Stella said goodbye to her friends and on her way back to the palace, she met Eugene, who was talking to the merman chieftain.

Eugene's rhetoric was similar to before; he wanted to recruit the merfolk to fight against the Dark Temple.

But the merman leader immediately asked, "Did the Elf King agree to your request?"

Eugene said vaguely, "The Elf King said he would give me a reply after the 100-day celebration, but I believe that as a creation of the God of Light, the Elf King will not have any choice but to agree."

The merfolk chieftain frowned and thought for a moment: "Then let's wait until the Elf King agrees to your request first."

After speaking, the merman chieftain was the first to leave.

He had his back to Eugene and couldn't see clearly, but Stella, who was hiding to the side, saw the whole process of Eugene's change of expression.

However, Eugene quickly put away his cold and murderous expression and transformed back into a gentle and smiling Archmage.

After Eugene had been gone for a while, Stella, feeling very suspicious, emerged from her hiding place and headed straight for the Elf King.

“Your Majesty,” Stella said, seeing that there were no outsiders in the hall, and began to speak to the Elf King.

"Your Majesty, has Eugene already searched for every race that came to participate in the 100-day celebration?"

“Perhaps,” the Elf King sat on his throne, pondered for a moment, and then put the matter aside for the time being.

He pointed to the small wardrobe next to him: "Garcia has prepared a new dress for you. She said you should wear a different one every day during the 100-day celebration."

Stella hadn't heard Garcia mention this before, but what girl could resist a beautiful wardrobe?

Stella turned to open it and was immediately dazzled by what she saw.

Rather than calling it a wardrobe, it's more accurate to describe it as a house enchanted with a folding space magic circle.

With Stella's size, she could come and go as she pleased.

There are places to change clothes and rest, and countless clothes and accessories are neatly categorized.

Stella even felt that she wouldn't need to stay in hotels anymore when she traveled. Wouldn't it be more comfortable to just bring this thing along and find a safe place to store it?

The 100-day celebration arrived amidst Stella's surprising costume change.

Although the celebration was not very grand, there were quite a few guests.

Although not many people from one race come, the total number of all races combined is quite large.

Stella followed the Elf King, observing his aloof and unapproachable appearance, yet his ability to communicate with other races with ease, as if he could talk to anyone. She couldn't help but marvel at how so many races respected the Elf King.

After a brief exchange, the highlight of the 100-day celebration began.

They offered various fruits and melons to the gods, and the Elf King himself played music to celebrate.

The celebrations only begin after the sacrificial ceremony concludes.

This process is usually followed. Short-lived races might find it interesting, but long-lived races can recite it by heart.

Aside from their anticipation of the music played by the Elf King himself, the immortals showed no interest in any of the other rituals.

But this time, surprisingly, when the offerings were presented to the God of Light and candles were lit for Him at the end of the ceremony, the candles went out for some unknown reason.

Eugene immediately stepped forward and said, "It must be that the God of Light is angered by the disloyalty of the believers, and therefore cannot be lit."

As soon as he said this, the guests who had been silent all looked at Eugene as if they were looking at something outrageous.

Everyone knows that the Elf King was the God of Light's favorite creation. Although the God of Light didn't take the Elf King away before the divine realm was isolated, the gods' favor towards him was undeniable.

As a god of magic, Eugene certainly knew about this, but that didn't stop him from speaking according to his own logic.

Eugene continued to proclaim the threat of darkness, urging all races to unite and drive it away.

While the long-lived species still looked at him as if he were a fool, some of the short-lived species had begun to hesitate.

"Stella," the Elf King called softly.

Stella brushed aside a bit of the Elf King's hair so that her voice could reach his ears more effectively.

"The king summoned me?"

The Elf King ignored Eugene's "speech" and said to Stella, "May I light the candles before the God of Light?"

“Me?” Stella didn’t understand why this had happened to her.

Stella believes there are two possibilities when the Elf King lights the candle and then it goes out.

First, as Eugene said, the God of Light was displeased. Second, someone was sabotaging things behind the scenes.

“Yes, it is you,” said the Elf King. “The God of Light told me that He desires you to ignite it.”

Stella looked surprised, her face clearly saying, "I'm still young, don't try to fool me."

But seeing the seriousness on the Elf King's face, Stella was a little unsure.

After thinking for a moment, she flew to the Elf King and looked at the statue of the God of Light.

Hmm...it looks kind of familiar.

If the realm of gods and the human realm are isolated, then surely a divine descent wouldn't suddenly occur, right?
