Love is as vast as the Milky Way, impossible to cross.

Chapter 2: You don't need to do anything else. Just supervise her work every day.

The long drive finally ended, and the car came to a smooth stop in front of Huo Muchen's luxurious villa. Liu Shiyin looked out the car window at the imposing building, a nameless question welling up inside her. She didn't understand why Huo Muchen had brought her here, nor did she know what fate awaited her.

The car door slowly opened, and Huo Muchen's voice was as cold as ice, devoid of any warmth:

"get off."

His words seemed to conceal endless indifference, making Liu Shiyin feel as if she were a manipulated robot or an insignificant object.

With trembling hands, Liu Shiyin pushed open the car door and stepped onto the steps in front of the villa. Huo Muchen gave her no chance to catch her breath, turning around and walking into the villa. Liu Shiyin could only follow closely behind him, taking each step cautiously, her heart filled with trepidation and tension.

Stepping into the villa, a chill swept over her. Liu Shiyin looked around and saw that the interior was extremely luxurious, yet it exuded an atmosphere of coldness and loneliness.

Huo Muchen walked straight to the living room without stopping, and Liu Shiyin could only follow closely behind, walking cautiously.

After sitting down on the sofa in the living room, Huo Muchen coldly stared at Liu Shiyin. Liu Shiyin dared not meet his gaze, only looking down at her toes, her heart filled with fear and helplessness. She didn't know how Huo Muchen would treat her, and could only silently await her fate.

Do you know why I brought you here?

Huo Muchen's voice broke the silence. His tone remained cold and ruthless, making Liu Shiyin tremble even more. She looked up at him, only to find his eyes colder than ever before.

Liu Shiyin answered in a trembling voice:

"I...I don't know."

Her voice was weak yet beautiful, carrying a hint of helplessness and confusion.

Seeing Liu Shiyin's embarrassed look, Huo Muchen sneered, then said to Aunt Wang beside him:

"Aunt Wang, please arrange for all the housekeepers to rest tomorrow. I'll let you know when they should return to work, and their wages will be paid as usual. Also, you don't need to do anything else; just supervise her work every day."

He pointed to Liu Shiyin, who was standing to the side.

Aunt Wang dressed simply and plainly; a clean and neat apron was always on her, as if it had become her trademark.

In the Huo family, Aunt Wang was not only a nanny, but also an elder who witnessed Huo Muchen's growth from childhood to adulthood.

Aunt Wang always showed Huo Muchen great care, understanding and tolerating his mischievousness as a child and his coldness and aloofness as an adult. Although Huo Muchen appeared indifferent on the surface, he was filled with gratitude and respect for Aunt Wang deep in his heart.

Aunt Wang paused for a moment upon hearing this, then nodded in agreement. She looked at Huo Muchen, her eyes filled with concern, and asked:

"Young Master, you haven't eaten yet, have you? I'll go and prepare something for you right away."

Huo Muchen nodded slightly in response.

Aunt Wang turned and walked towards the kitchen, feeling somewhat puzzled by Huo Muchen's decision. When she reached Liu Shiyin, she looked up at the thin girl.

Liu Shiyin stood there quietly, as if a gust of wind could blow her over. Her long hair covered half of her body and most of her face, making it impossible to see her expression.

Aunt Wang felt a pang of doubt, but she didn't ask any questions and silently went into the kitchen. She knew that as the Huo family's nanny, she should obey the young master's decision, even though she found it somewhat perplexing.
