Rebirth to Save Myself

Despite Su Xia's repeated explanations, the start of the school year finally arrived, and the two of them embarked on different journeys, meeting different people and attending different universities.

Chen Jianguo and Chen Chunqi saw the two off at their respective airports before leaving. Looking at the clouds outside, Su Xia felt a pang of worry, afraid of encountering the same kind of roommate she'd had in her past life. She worried about whether she should open up to her roommates whom she'd only recently met, and she was also afraid Chen Yuan would be bullied. Because of Chen Jianguo's wealth, the two of them had never lived at school, always staying at home and being frequently driven to and from school.

Since most students travel to school by high-speed train or bus, Su Xia didn't see any upperclassmen picking up the new students when she arrived in Changsha. "No, I'm sorry." Chen Wanying quickly pulled Lin Zhe aside and let the girl go inside.

"Aren't you from this dorm?" the girl asked as Chen Wanying stepped aside.

"She is," Lin Zhe replied, then took Chen Wanying's luggage into the dormitory, and Chen Wanying followed him in.

"Oh, I didn't think so. Hello everyone, my name is Ye Zhenzhen, and I'm from the Civil Engineering Department." The girl put down her backpack and introduced herself to everyone.

"Hello, my name is Su Xia, and I am a student in the Chinese Language and Literature Department."

"My name is Chen Wanying, and I am a student in the Chinese Language and Literature Department."

"I am Su Wanqing, a third-year student in the Chinese Language and Literature Department."

The three girls introduced themselves one by one. Ye Zhenzhen raised an eyebrow at Lin Zhe, as if asking him why he didn't introduce himself.

“He is Ye Zhe, my boyfriend,” Chen Wanying said softly.

"You should say that louder, you know? Is it hard for you to say that I'm your boyfriend?" Ye Zhe looked down at Chen Wanying.

"No, no, Zhe, don't be like this, there are other people around." Chen Wanying pushed Ye Zhe with her hand, trying to get him away from her.

"Move aside, you're blocking the way." A girl stood at the door, looking at the people inside the dormitory with a blank expression, seemingly very unhappy.

Ye Zhenzhen glanced at the couple, then looked at the last beautiful woman to enter, and asked, "Beautiful lady, what's your name? My name is Ye Zhenzhen, and her name is Chen Wanying. That's Chen Wanying's boyfriend, Ye Zhe."

"Lu Lu." The girl tidied her bed without turning her head.

"That sounds really nice." Ye Zhenzhen nodded and began tidying up her seat.

Not long after, Su Xia returned, accompanied by a boy who had pulled a cart full of packages. Su Xia said to the boy, "Thank you, senior, I've arrived at my dorm."

"Hehe, you're welcome." The boy smiled and left.

"Wow, Su Xia, you've got so many packages already since the start of the semester?" Ye Zhenzhen asked curiously, leaning closer to see what Su Xia had bought.

"These are all daily necessities." Su Xia took out a small folding knife from her backpack, wiped the chair, and started unpacking the packages. From tissues to hair dryers, then to towels, toothbrushes, and toothpaste, the table was soon piled high with items.

"My mom thought this was nice, so she bought one for me to use in my dorm," Su Xia said.

"Your mom is so nice!" Ye Zhenzhen looked around at Su Xia's things, and they all seemed to be of very good quality. The clothes she was wearing didn't look like they were from Taobao.

"Yes, my mom is great." Su Xia nodded. Chen Chunqi was incredibly kind to Su Xia.

The four of them tidied up the dorm, making sure the blankets and mats were in place. Ye Zhe was also persuaded by Chen Wanying to tidy up his own dorm.
