There is a beast: (Hundred Explanations)

Late at night, the beasts slept peacefully, knowing they would set off the next day.

In a dream.

Bai Jie enters the dream and discovers that Bai Zang is also there.

"Huh? Xiao Zang, what are you doing here?" Bai Jie asked, somewhat puzzled.

To everyone's surprise, Bai Zang pouted.

"Mother doesn't welcome me?! Fine! Then I'll leave!" Bai Zang pretended to wipe away non-existent tears with his paw.

Bai Jie covered her forehead. Where did Xiao Zang learn this gesture from? Hmm, could it be from my future self? But that doesn't make sense, I wouldn't be this silly in the future.

"Alright, alright, stop pretending. What's wrong with you, little guy?" Bai Jie clenched her fists and poked Bai Zang's temples.

A ripple appeared in the dream; it was the arrival of Cotton Boiler and the Four-Faced Beast.

"Eh? Little Cloud is here too?" The Four-Faced Beast was pleasantly surprised. He hadn't expected to see Bai Cang as soon as he returned to his dream. What a wonderful thing!

"Father~ Aunt~" Bai Cang escaped from Bai Jie's clutches.

He immediately ran to the side of the four-legged creature and the cotton boll.

"What's Xiao Zang doing here?" Mian Tao asked curiously, poking her head out.

"Hehehe~ Because Tianlu and the others went to bed early today, I came to play in my mother's dream!" Baizang said, raising his paw.

Bai Jie nodded in agreement. No wonder Bai Cang came directly into the dream.

"Oh, I see. Well then, Xiao Zang, stay here and have some fun with us today~" Mian Tao said, patting Bai Zang.

“I have some good news for Xiao Zang! I’m going to visit your family with your mother tomorrow!” Mian Tao continued happily.

Bai Zang was overjoyed to hear that they would be returning tomorrow.

"Aww! You're finally coming back! This is so great!" Hyakuzo exclaimed, his expression full of excitement.

"But according to Bai Jie, it will be at least ten more days before we get back~" Mian Tao had asked Bai Jie when she would arrive during the meal.

Upon hearing this, Bai Zang was not as disappointed as one might expect; he remained the same, and was even more excited!

"What? It's still so long? Does that mean I can finally start preparing!"

Everyone was relieved to hear Baizang's words, as they were worried that Baizang might feel disappointed after hearing the news.

Bai Jie watched the beasts chatting happily and silently activated her abilities to prepare to return to the villa.

Bai Zang sensed the energy fluctuations of his mother and looked up at Bai Jie.

"Mother, do you need me to go back too?" Bai Zang asked, peeking out.

"It's alright, you can stay here with me~ I'll be back soon," Bai Jie said with a smile.

After saying that, Bai Jie activated her abilities to pass through layers of dreams and arrived at the dream bubble of the villa.

The villa is now quiet, much quieter than usual, even though the lights are on.

"Why does it feel a little eerily quiet..." Bai Jie shook her head, thinking that nothing should go wrong.

Bai Jie walked to the bedroom floor with a slight worry.

"Bai Jie." Chaos saw that Bai Jie had finally returned.

She walked up to Bai Jie in a bit of a hurry.

"What's wrong?" Bai Jie immediately sensed something was wrong. Had something happened while Bai Zang and I were away?

"Come with me." Chaos led Bai Jie to a room.

"Isn't this my room?" Bai Jie asked, scratching her head.

Chaos nodded and pushed open the door.

Two Pixiu, each clutching a doll, lay asleep on the bed. Tianlu and Bixie wore expressions of pain, gritting their teeth, cold sweat pouring down their foreheads.

"What's going on?" Bai Jie was shocked and a little annoyed. This power reminded him of those dream-eating beasts.

Chaos shook his head helplessly.

“When I came out, I found your door was open, so I came in to take a look. But Bai Zang wasn’t in the room; only the two little ones were having nightmares,” Chaos said.

"But strangely, I can't wake them up." Chaos had tried some methods, but whether he gently or violently tried to wake them up, he couldn't.

Bai Jie frowned. The door was open? Xiao Zang wouldn't make such a mistake, would she? If it wasn't Xiao Zang, then something else must have sneaked in.

"No matter what, I'll give it a try. I should be able to wake them up," Bai Jie said calmly.

Bai Jie approached Tianlu and Bixie, and the dream energy on her claws slowly entered their bodies.

Their eyebrows twitched a few times.

"Tianlu! (Bixie!)" Tianlu and Bixie suddenly woke up, calling out each other's names.

They looked at each other, then hugged each other tightly.

They said in unison.

Their dreams were remarkably similar: each of them witnessed the other being murdered by claws in the darkness before their very eyes. They screamed, but no sound came out. Moreover, this dream was played out countless times.

"You're awake," Bai Jie said to them.

Tianlu and Bixie then noticed Bai Jie beside them and realized that Bai Jie must have saved them.

"Bai Jie!" The two brothers hugged Bai Jie from both sides, tears streaming down their faces.

Bai Jie looked at Tianlu and Bixie in this state.

With a helpless expression, he placed his two paws on their heads and rubbed them.

"Alright, you're all fine, nothing's wrong~" Bai Jie felt that the hair on both sides of her body was wet.

Upon hearing this, the two brothers released Bai Jie.

Bixie wiped away the tears on his face, his little face gradually calmed down, and he returned to his previous adult-like appearance.

Tianlu let the tears stream down his face, and after a brief moment of calm, he cried even harder...

Bai Jie glanced at Bixie and gestured frantically.

Bixie received Bai Jie's signal and immediately carried it out, holding Tianlu in his arms to comfort him.

"I...I thought I would never see you again," Tianlu sobbed in Bixie's arms.

The nightmare felt so real. He clearly caught the shadowy figure several times, but then his vision blurred and the figure transformed into Bai Jie, Bi Xie, or even Bai Zang.

After having this dream so many times, he was on the verge of a breakdown.

Bixie remained silent, clearly feeling the same way.

"Okay, okay, I'm here~" Bai Jie smiled and rubbed the heads of the two Pixiu.

Despite his mature demeanor, Bixie is still a child at heart, as evidenced by his earlier action of crying while holding Bai Jie.

Tianlu Bixie was a little confused, but still handed the doll to Bai Jie.

Bai Jie took the two dolls and continuously poured dream energy into them.

"Alright, I've added my abilities to it, so you won't have nightmares anymore~" Bai Jie said with a smile.

Tianlu Bixie hugged the doll, feeling the reassuring aura emanating from it, and nodded heavily.
