Beast Taming Star Journey

I took a deep breath, removed my hand from the beast-taming pouch, and strode towards the bottomless testing ground. Su Yao gave me an encouraging look at the entrance, and I nodded to her before leaping into the unknown danger. As I descended, the wind howled, I felt weightless, and darkness enveloped me. "Thump!" I landed steadily on the soft grass.

Looking around, the dense jungle blocked out the sun, the air was filled with a damp smell, and the chirping of various unknown insects and birds rose and fell, everything seemed strange and dangerous.

I summoned my companion, Little Gold, from my beast-taming pouch. Little Gold was a golden, agile Wind-Hunting Leopard. Little Gold nuzzled my cheek affectionately, letting out a soft whimper.

I gently stroked its mane, feeling the trust and strength it conveyed to me.

My ability to tame beasts is not simply about control, but about communicating with them on a spiritual level, establishing a true contract of equality, and sharing each other's power.

In this perilous environment, my abilities were put to the fullest use.

I can clearly perceive the emotions and intentions of the creatures around me, and even vaguely foresee the dangers that are about to occur.

In the dense jungle, all sorts of beasts lurk, some eyeing the enemy menacingly, others carefully concealing their presence.

Thanks to my excellent teamwork with Xiao Jin, I successfully avoided the initial dangers and headed towards the volcano where the Fire Spirit Grass might grow.

Along the way, I encountered all sorts of mythical beasts. There were enormous pythons, coiled on tree trunks, flicking their scarlet tongues; there were brightly colored poisonous spiders, silently waiting for their prey on their webs; and there were swarms of man-eating ants, advancing mightily across the ground.

My beast-taming ability allows me to sense their movements in advance and react in time.

Sometimes I would command Little Gold to take a detour, and other times I would let it release a threatening aura to scare away those restless beasts.

As we crossed a swamp, I sensed a strong sense of malice. I immediately became alert and told Xiao Jin to slow down and carefully observe our surroundings.

Suddenly, the water surface burst open, and a huge crocodile leaped out of the water, opening its blood-red mouth and lunging at me.

I was prepared. The moment the crocodile leaped out, I had already directed Little Gold to dodge to the side.

"Roar!" Little Gold roared, its sharp claws slashing fiercely at the crocodile's belly. The crocodile, in pain, tumbled and sank into the water, creating a huge splash.

I didn't let my guard down, because I knew this was just the beginning...

"careful!"

A voice suddenly came from the tree. I looked up and saw a beast-taming spirit dressed in black standing on a high branch, looking down at me.

It held a wooden staff in its hand, the tip of which shimmered with a ghostly blue light.

"The test has officially begun," the Beast Taming Spirit's voice echoed through the forest like a booming bell. "Next, you will face a series of simulated beast attacks. Only by successfully withstanding all the attacks can you pass the test."

The moment the words left his mouth, the surrounding scenery changed abruptly. The once peaceful jungle instantly transformed into a perilous battlefield.

All sorts of simulated beasts emerged from all directions, letting out deafening roars. I took a deep breath and forced myself to calm down.

"Xiao Jin, feint an attack!"

I gave a low shout, and Little Gold understood immediately, letting out a deafening roar as it charged towards a simulated giant bear directly in front of it.

The giant bear was intimidated by Xiao Jin's imposing presence and charged forward, brandishing its enormous paws.

Just as the giant bear's attention was drawn to Little Gold, I quickly commanded another beast—Little Silver, an agile silver moon wolf—to launch a sneak attack from the side.

Like a silver lightning bolt, Little Silver appeared instantly beside the giant bear, its sharp claws digging into the bear's waist, leaving several deep bloody marks.

The giant bear, in pain, let out a roar and turned to pounce on Little Silver.

However, Little Gold had been waiting for a long time. It leaped forward and stood in front of Little Silver, engaging in a fierce battle with the giant bear.

The other simulated beasts also joined the battle, and in an instant, the entire assessment field turned into a chaotic battlefield. Although my beasts were brave, they gradually became overwhelmed by so many enemies. I kept a close eye on the situation on the battlefield, my mind racing, analyzing the enemy's weaknesses and my own strengths.

"Little Gold, Little Silver, change formation and form a defensive formation!"

I shouted loudly. Little Gold and Little Silver immediately understood my intention, quickly changed their formation, stood back to back, forming a solid defensive circle to resist attacks from all directions.

I glanced outside the testing area and saw Su Yao staring nervously at the simulated environment, her eyes filled with worry, her hands unconsciously clenched.

I know I can't let her down. Although I've temporarily withstood the attack, I know it's only temporary.

There are many more unknown dangers in this simulated environment, and I must remain vigilant at all times.

Suddenly, I felt the ground begin to shake, and a powerful aura came from afar... My heart sank, and an ominous premonition welled up in my mind.
