I gripped the sword hilt tightly, my palms sweating. That enormous figure, like a moving mountain, exuded an oppressive aura that was almost suffocating. When the metallurg warrior's giant axe struck it, it only sent up a string of sparks. Just when I was almost in despair, I suddenly noticed a detail. The eyes of these alien creatures gleamed with an eerie green light in the thick fog, exceptionally conspicuous. Moreover, I discovered that the light in their eyes intensified whenever they attacked. Could it be…?

A bold guess formed in my mind. I immediately shouted to Su Yao, "Attack their eyes!"

Although Su Yao didn't understand my intention, she did as I said without hesitation. The phoenix let out a sharp cry, and a golden flame shot straight into the eye of a monster.

"Let's break out!" I shouted, pointing towards the crack.

However, just as we were preparing to break through, I sensed something was amiss. The lion of the Metal-Iridium Beastmaster was no longer cooperating with us as before; instead, it kept blocking our path, and once, it even pounced towards Su Yao!

I was startled and quickly pulled Su Yao behind me, while simultaneously directing the white wolf to block the lion's attack.

"Iridium Beast Tamer, what are you doing?!" I roared.

The Beastmaster's face was grim, a barely perceptible glint of jealousy flashing in his eyes. "I'm just protecting everyone," he said coldly. "These monsters are too dangerous; we must be careful."

His explanation was weak and unconvincing; I could tell he was deliberately causing trouble. Was it because I had become a hero again, making him feel threatened? A surge of anger rose within me, but now was not the time for infighting; we had to unite to escape.

I took a deep breath, trying to suppress the anger in my heart, and once again commanded White Wolf and Su Yao's phoenix to clear the way. The gold-platinum youth and the platinum strategist followed closely behind us, while the mercury envoy remained slumped on the ground, his eyes vacant, as if he had lost all hope of living.

As we drew closer to the rift, the attacks from the alien creatures grew increasingly fierce. They seemed to sense our intentions and were desperately trying to prevent our escape. My white wolf sustained several more wounds, and Su Yao's phoenix was beginning to show signs of fatigue.

Just then, the lion of the Beast Tamer of the Metal and Iridium suddenly roared and charged towards us. This time, its target wasn't Su Yao, but me! I was startled and quickly dodged, but the lion's claws still scratched my arm. Blood instantly stained my clothes.

"Beast Tamer of Metal and Iridium, have you gone mad?!" Su Yao shouted angrily, her phoenix letting out a sharp cry and spewing a stream of fire at the lion.

The lion was struck by the flames, let out a painful howl, and collapsed to the ground, rolling around in agony.

I clutched my injured arm, glaring at the Metal-Iridium Beastmaster. "What exactly do you want?!"

The Beastmaster of the Metal-Iridium didn't speak, but just stared at me coldly, his eyes filled with resentment.

A sudden, ominous premonition rose within me. Could it be... that he intends to kill me?

Just then, I felt a powerful force surge from within me—it was… the power of my beast taming, the power of the white wolf! I suddenly remembered that my beast taming ability had a special use…

"Su Yao, protect the others!" I shouted, and then...

I rushed into the passage first, followed closely by Su Yao, whose phoenix let out a clear cry and flew in as well. The gold-plated youth and the platinum-plated strategist hesitated for a moment, then also rushed into the passage. The mercury-plated envoy remained slumped on the ground, his eyes vacant, as if he had become numb to the hope of living.

"Metal Messenger! Run!" I shouted back at him.

The Mercury Messenger seemed to be awakened by my voice. He raised his head blankly, looked at me, then at the passage behind him, a struggle flashing in his eyes.

Just then, a huge alien creature burst out of the thick fog and pounced on the Mercury Messenger.

"Watch out!" I exclaimed in alarm, wanting to rush back to save him, but the passageway had begun to become unstable, and I dared not leave easily.

At the critical moment, a figure flashed past and stood in front of the Mercury Messenger. It was... a Thallium Warrior! He swung his giant axe like a whirlwind, cleaving the alien creature in two.

"Go! Leave this to me!" the thallium warrior roared.

I gave him a deep look, then turned and rushed into the depths of the passage. I knew how dangerous it was to stay behind and cover our retreat, but we had no time to hesitate.

The passageway was filled with powerful spatial energy, making me feel dizzy. I held Su Yao's hand tightly, afraid that she would be swept away by the spatial energy.

"Yu, are you alright?" Su Yao asked with concern.

"I'm fine," I said through gritted teeth. "Hang in there, we'll be out of here soon!"

At the end of the passage lay that enormous rift. I could sense a familiar aura emanating from the other side of the rift—it was… the scent of our world!

"Quick! Charge out!" I roared, and with all my might, I rushed towards the crack.

A dazzling white light flashed, and we finally broke out of the passage and returned to our own world.

I looked back, but the passage had vanished, replaced by nothingness. Had the thallium warriors, and those unexpected allies, also escaped? My heart was filled with worry and questions.

"Yu, we... succeeded?" Su Yao's voice trembled slightly as she hugged me tightly, as if afraid I would suddenly disappear.

I gently patted her back, feeling the warmth of her body. "Yes, we did it."
