He brandished his battle axe and swung it down at me fiercely...

"Nong Yu!" Su Yao exclaimed in surprise.

The battle axe came crashing down with a powerful gust of wind. My heart skipped a beat, and the Howling Moon Wolf let out a low growl, leaping up and using its hard body to block the fatal blow.
