The Beast Tamer sneered, "What do you know, you little brat? The power of the dark forces far exceeds your imagination! Their beasts are all incredibly ferocious and far stronger than ours! The petty tricks you just displayed are simply like throwing an egg against a rock!"

His words shook some people once again. I felt the atmosphere around me turn somber, and a sense of despair spread like a tide. I squeezed Su Yao's hand and gave her an encouraging look. I knew this was not the time to back down; what we needed to do was rekindle the hope in these people's hearts.
