Beast Taming Star Journey

Chapter 356: Revealing the secret of true unity

Chapter 356 Unveiling the Truth: Unity

A gigantic black claw, radiating a suffocating pressure, slowly emerged from the vortex, and the air in the hall seemed to freeze. I clenched my fists, and Su Yao stood beside me, her gaze resolute. The Beast Tamer, who had initially hesitated, now turned deathly pale and instinctively took a few steps back.

"Is this what you call 'amnesty'?" Su Yao's voice was cold and firm. "Using force to coerce you, is this your sincerity?"

The strategist, Bo, sneered: "The victor is king, the loser is villain; this has always been the case. Power is the eternal truth of this world! Those who submit to me prosper, those who oppose me perish!"

I took a deep breath, stepped forward, and looked him straight in the eye: "You're wrong! Power isn't for oppressing the weak, it's for upholding justice! Do you think you can subdue us with these kinds of methods? You underestimate us!"

“That’s right,” Su Yao stepped forward, her voice filled with power, “We Beast Tamers protect the peace of this continent, not bow down to evil forces!”

I took out a crystal ball from my pocket. This crystal ball was different from the one in the strategist's hand; it emitted a soft white light. "Since you mention evidence, then we'll show you the real evidence!"

I channeled my spiritual energy into the crystal ball, and its light projected onto the center of the hall, forming a massive screen of light. Within this screen, a scene unfolded: the Dark Lord leading his army, slaughtering a small force. Men, women, and children screamed under the Dark Lord's iron hooves, their blood staining the earth crimson. The scene was horrifying, too gruesome to bear.

A hush fell over the hall; everyone was stunned by the scene before them. The Beast Tamer, Jinxi, was deathly pale, his lips trembling, unable to utter a word. Elder Jinhei, who had initially hesitated, was now completely shaken.

"This...this is impossible..." Jinbo's expression changed drastically. He tried to stop me, but Su Yao blocked him.

“This is just one example,” Su Yao said coldly. “We have much more evidence to prove the Dark Lord’s brutality and evil!”

I released several more videos, each one chilling. The Dark Lord, in his quest to expand his power, resorted to any means necessary, burning, killing, looting, and committing countless atrocities.

"Now, what else do you want to say?" I looked coldly at Strategist Bo, whose face had turned ashen and was covered in cold sweat.

The boy with the metal shavings stood up excitedly, his voice filled with anger: "We must never bow down to such demons! We must fight! We must protect our homeland!"

His words resonated with the crowd, and shouts of "Fight! Fight!" echoed throughout the hall.

"This...this is all fake!" Strategist Jinbo's voice trembled slightly. "They provoked us first; we were just defending ourselves!"

I scoffed, about to retort, when Su Yao tugged at my sleeve and gently shook her head. She glanced at the strategist, a meaningful smile playing on her lips…

Su Yao's smile reassured me; I knew she must have a plan. She spoke slowly, her voice as cold as ice: "Self-defense? What a fine self-defense! Then tell me, how did these slaughtered women and children provoke you? They were unarmed, without even beasts to control. How could they threaten your powerful dark army?"

The strategist's face grew even more grim. He opened his mouth, but couldn't utter a word for a long time. He looked at Elder Jinhei for help, hoping he could say something, but Elder Jinhei just kept his head down in silence, clearly stunned by the scene in the crystal ball.

"You say they provoked you, but do you have any evidence?" I pressed on. "Your so-called evidence, is it also fake, like the crystal ball in your hand?" I pointed to the crystal ball that was still tightly clutched by him, which was emitting a black light, and my tone was full of sarcasm.

Beads of sweat appeared on Jinbo's forehead; his hand holding the crystal ball trembled slightly, and his eyes flickered uncertainly. He tried to argue again, but found that any words would seem pale and powerless in the face of irrefutable evidence.

"You don't need to make excuses anymore," Su Yao's voice was firm and powerful. "Facts speak louder than words! Your so-called offer of amnesty is nothing but an attempt to turn us into puppets of the Dark Lord! The dignity of us Beast Tamers cannot be trampled on!"

As Su Yao spoke, she became somewhat agitated, her chest heaving. I gently put my arm around her waist, and she leaned against me, feeling my warmth. Her emotions gradually calmed down. We smiled at each other, everything understood without words.

The atmosphere in the hall grew even more tense. Jinxi, the Beast Tamer, slumped to the ground, realizing he had been deceived. Elder Jinhei finally raised his head, his eyes filled with anger and remorse. He slowly walked to the center of the hall and proclaimed loudly, "I was wrong! I was blinded by the Dark Lord's lies! I have failed the Beast Taming world, and I have failed all those harmed by the Dark Lord!"

His words resonated with the crowd, and a chorus of condemnations rose and fell in the hall. Seeing that the situation was hopeless, the strategist, Bo, grew even paler. He quietly retreated, attempting to escape in the chaos.

"Want to leave? Not so easy!" I sneered, and a chain of spiritual energy instantly wrapped around his body, binding him firmly.

"Hand him over to the enforcement team and let him receive the punishment he deserves!" Elder Jinhei's voice was full of authority.

The crowd echoed in unison, and the strategist was taken away. The atmosphere in the hall finally eased somewhat, but everyone's face still carried a hint of solemnity.

Although we have uncovered the Dark Lord's plot and united the Beast Taming World, the real test has only just begun. The Dark Lord's army is approaching; are we truly prepared?

I returned to my room and began verifying the intelligence reports from various parties. However, as I examined the reports closely, my brow furrowed involuntarily. There were huge contradictions in the data regarding the size of the Dark Lord's army… Could it be…? I abruptly looked up at the dark night sky outside the window. Someone was tampering with the intelligence…
