Beast Taming Star Journey
Chapter 339 Special Training Begins: The First Expedition
Chapter 339 Special Training Begins - Initial Expedition
"Everyone," my voice echoed across the training grounds, "we are about to face an unprecedented challenge. To protect our shared home, we need to become stronger!" My gaze swept over the faces, some excited, some bewildered, and a heavy sense of responsibility rose within me. I knew that this training was not just about improving our strength, but also about uniting our hearts and minds, and forging a powerful bond.
"I know everyone is looking forward to it, but also feeling nervous. The special training will be tough, but please believe me, I will do my best to help everyone break through their limits and become true champions!" I clenched my fist, my tone firm.
Silence spread through the crowd, and I could feel a tense atmosphere in the air. How should I begin? I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and activated my special beast-taming ability. A warm current surged from my dantian, flowing throughout my body and finally converging in my eyes. When I opened my eyes again, the world seemed different. I could clearly sense the aura of every beast tamer around me, their unique abilities, and even the degree of compatibility between them and their respective beasts.
A burly beast tamer with a full beard stood at the front of the crowd. His aura was deep and steady, perfectly complementing the imposing armored rhinoceros beside him. He was a strength-based beast tamer; his strength lay in direct, head-on attacks, while his weakness was a slight lack of speed. A training plan for him quickly flashed through my mind: intensive strength training combined with speed and agility training.
Another slender, sharp-eyed beast tamer stood at the rear of the group. His aura was elusive and ghostly, perfectly complementing the agile Nether Leopard beside him. This was an agile beast tamer; his strengths lay in speed and stealth, while his weakness was a slight lack of offensive power. A training plan for him was thus devised: strengthen his attack power and explosiveness, combined with tactical drills.
One after another, beast tamers appeared in my perception, their abilities, strengths, and weaknesses all displayed in my mind. I seemed to transform into a precise scanner, recording their information one by one and quickly formulating corresponding training plans.
Time ticked by, and I was so absorbed in sensing the beast tamers that I didn't notice the changes around me. It wasn't until Su Yao gently touched my arm that I snapped out of my reverie. "Nong Yu," she said softly, "everyone's waiting for you."
I then realized that I had been standing there for a long time. I looked around and saw that the beast tamers were all looking at me with expectant eyes, their eyes filled with trust and hope.
"I have a preliminary understanding of everyone's strengths and characteristics," I said loudly. "Next, I will develop personalized training plans based on each person's situation. I believe that as long as we work together, we will definitely be able to overcome all difficulties and ultimately win!"
As soon as I finished speaking, a burst of enthusiastic cheers erupted from the crowd. Their passion and fighting spirit inspired me and strengthened my resolve.
At that moment, a slightly anxious voice came from the crowd, "But, Lord Nongyu, our training resources..."
I turned my head and saw that the strategist was looking at me with a worried expression. His brows were furrowed, as if he had something difficult to say.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
The strategist hesitated for a moment, then took a deep breath and slowly said, "Our training resources... I'm afraid they're insufficient..." "Insufficient resources?" My heart sank, a chill running from my feet to the top of my head. I had been so focused on the individual circumstances of each beast tamer that I had overlooked this crucial factor. The strategist's words were like a thunderbolt, pulling me back to reality from my excited state.
A commotion immediately arose in the crowd, and a shadow gradually fell over their previously hopeful eyes. Whispers surged like a tide, and unease spread through the crowd.
"Quiet!" I raised my voice, trying to remain calm. "Strategist, tell me specifically, what resources are lacking?"
The strategist walked up to me, opened the booklet in his hand, pointed to the dense text on it, and said in a heavy tone, "According to our previous statistics, the resources needed for this special training, such as spirit herbs, ores, and monster materials, far exceed our inventory. Especially for some special attribute beasts, the resources required are even scarcer. If we proceed according to the previous plan, I'm afraid..." He paused, not continuing, but his meaning was already clear.
My gaze fell on the booklet, and the shocking numbers weighed on my heart like boulders, making it hard to breathe. I looked around and saw disappointed faces, and a sense of powerlessness filled me.
Just then, a warm hand gently grasped mine. I turned to look; it was Su Yao. She looked at me firmly, her eyes shining with trust. "I believe you can handle this," she said softly, her voice full of strength.
Su Yao's trust flowed into my heart like a warm current, dispelling the gloom within. Yes, I can't give up; I must find a way to solve this problem. I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down.
“Strategist,” I said in a deep voice, “give me a list of all the resources. I need to reassess them.”
I took the list from the strategist and carefully reviewed it. The name, quantity, and purpose of each resource were clearly presented before my eyes. My brain raced, trying to find a glimmer of hope for a breakthrough.
Time ticked by, and I was lost in thought, as if everything around me had vanished. I kept matching the needs of the beast tamers with the available resources, trying to find the optimal balance.
“Perhaps we can try changing the training methods…” a voice broke the silence. I looked up and saw the Beastmaster. He had been standing silently in the crowd, and now, his eyes gleamed with wisdom.
"Oh? Tell me your thoughts." A glimmer of hope ignited in my heart.
The Beastmaster walked up to me, pointed to a resource on the list, and said, "Although this spiritual herb is scarce, we can use another spiritual herb with similar medicinal properties as a substitute. Although the effect will be slightly reduced, the cost can be reduced significantly..."
I listened carefully to the Beastmaster's advice, and his ideas gave me new inspiration. Perhaps my previous thinking was too limited. I shouldn't just think about how to allocate existing resources, but also how to innovate training methods and improve the efficiency of resource utilization.
“Let’s go talk over there,” I said to the Beast Tamer, pointing to a relatively secluded area in the distance. That area was where we specifically trained special beast taming abilities; perhaps we could find a new breakthrough there…
