Beast Taming Star Journey

Chapter 321 Allies Show Their Power for the First Time

A dark, swarming mass, like locusts in flight, surged forth from the depths of the Blackwater Swamp. These were monstrous creatures resembling giant spiders, entirely black, with sharp claws and fangs, emanating a nauseating stench. Their sheer number was terrifying.

Before the thorium youth could finish speaking, I felt a powerful pressure descend from the sky, making it almost impossible for me to breathe. I looked up and saw a golden light appear in the sky, streaking across the heavens like a shooting star, heading straight towards the Blackwater Swamp.

"It's a beast tamer!" someone exclaimed.

I was overjoyed; the Beastmaster had finally made his move!

The golden light landed and transformed into a tall figure. It was the Beastmaster, clad in golden armor, wielding a long sword, and exuding a powerful aura. Beside him stood a man in a blue robe, holding a feather fan—the Strategist You.

"Hmph, a bunch of clowns, daring to act so presumptuously here!" The Beastmaster sneered, and with a wave of his longsword, a golden sword aura shot out, instantly cleaving several giant spiders in two.

Immediately afterwards, the space behind him distorted, and a group of beast tamers dressed in strange attire appeared. They each summoned their own beasts and joined the battle.

These beasts came in all shapes and sizes; some were enormous birds of prey, some were ferocious beasts, and some were bizarre creatures. They were all incredibly powerful, locked in fierce combat with the giant spiders, and for a time, the shouts of battle shook the heavens and the earth.

I had never seen such a breathtaking scene before, and I was completely stunned. Even Su Yao looked surprised.

The uranium strategist stood to one side, gently waving his feather fan, a faint smile playing on his lips. He seemed confident of the outcome of the battle.

The Beastmaster's strength was unfathomable. His longsword, like a golden dragon, darted through the horde of monsters, felling them wherever it went. He didn't even need to summon his beasts; his own power was enough to suppress these powerful monsters.

The battle did not last long. Under the powerful offensive of the Beastmaster and his allies, the giant spiders were quickly wiped out.

The Blackwater Swamp returned to calm, as if nothing had ever happened.

The Beastmaster slowly landed and walked up to us, saying indifferently, "Just some minor troubles, nothing to worry about."

His tone was calm, as if the thrilling battle just now was nothing more than a trivial matter.

The Beastmaster looked at everything before him with a complex expression. Although he had witnessed firsthand the formidable strength of the Beastmaster and his allies, his heart was still filled with doubt.

He walked up to the plutonium envoy and whispered, "Are you sure... they really deserve our trust?"

I watched the Neptune Beastmaster and the Plutonium Envoy whispering to each other, and I understood their concerns. Our allies were indeed incredibly powerful, but this sudden surge in strength was unsettling. Could this all be a charade, a performance to gain our trust?

Su Yao excitedly hugged me tightly, her worries vanishing in her eyes, replaced by a gleam of excitement. "Nong Yu, did you see that? They're so strong! We're saved!" Her soft body pressed against me, a faint fragrance wafting into my nostrils, making my heart race. I gently patted her back, savoring this moment of tenderness.

“Ahem,” the Beastmaster coughed lightly, interrupting us, “This was just a small test. The real enemy is far stronger than these monsters. We need closer cooperation to ultimately defeat them.” His gaze was deep, as if he could see through everything.

The Uranium Strategist, fanning himself with a feather fan, added with a smile, "Neptune Beastmaster, there's no need to worry. Since we've chosen to cooperate with you, we will naturally go all out. Our goals are the same: to protect the peace of this continent." His tone was gentle, yet carried an undeniable confidence.

The beast tamer remained silent for a moment, then finally nodded. "I hope so."

The young thorium boy was filled with curiosity about everything. He circled around the strange beasts, exclaiming in amazement from time to time. "Wow, this bird is huge! Its feathers are even golden!" His lively actions eased the tense atmosphere.

Over the next few days, we worked with our allies to develop a battle plan. The Beastmasters and Uranium Strategists displayed extraordinary wisdom and strategy; their plans were intricately linked, leaving virtually no flaws. I felt an even greater admiration for their abilities, but also a vague sense of unease. Their power, their confidence, their mystery—all made me feel that they were hiding something.

One evening, as I was preparing to rest, I suddenly heard soft footsteps outside the door. I got up alertly, quietly went to the door, and peeked through the crack. I saw the strategist standing alone in the courtyard, gazing at the starry sky, muttering to himself. I couldn't hear what he was saying, but his tone and expression gave me a strange sense of unease.

I was about to go out and ask when I suddenly heard the Beastmaster's voice from behind me. "Nong Yu, still awake?"

I turned around and saw the Beastmaster standing behind me, a barely perceptible smile on his face. "I...I just saw the Uranium Strategist in the courtyard..."
