Beast Taming Star Journey

The stench of the dark beast assaulted my senses; I could almost feel the slime on its sharp fangs. A shadow of death loomed over me, and I instinctively closed my eyes. But the expected excruciating pain didn't come; instead, I heard a crisp, clear sword strike.

I opened my eyes and saw Su Yao standing in front of me, her long sword gleaming coldly as she forced the dark beast back. Her pretty face was frosty, her eyes sharp, like a guardian deity, firmly protecting me.

"Don't be afraid, I'm here," she said softly, her voice not loud, but it gave me immense strength.

“Su Yao…” A warm feeling welled up in my heart, but it was mixed with deep self-reproach. I, who once aspired to become strong and protect her, now have to rely on her for protection.

The Beastmaster stood atop a distant hill, watching us struggle desperately, his face full of mockery. "It's nothing but a death throes; your resistance is futile." His voice was icy, like a pronouncement from hell.

His beast-taming army surged like a black tide, wave after wave crashing against our defenses. Warriors of the beast-taming realm fell one by one, their blood staining the earth red. Despair began to spread, and fear began to fester in everyone's heart.

"This can't go on!" I thought anxiously. If things continued like this, we would eventually be worn down and killed.

Just then, Su Yao shouted, "Warriors of the Beast Taming Realm, do not be afraid! Fight for our homeland, for our loved ones!" Her voice was like thunder, resounding throughout the entire battlefield.

She charged into the enemy ranks, her longsword flashing like the wind, instantly slaying several dark beasts. Her bravery inspired the remaining warriors, who rallied their courage, rekindled their fighting spirit, and fought to the death.

I took a deep breath, suppressing the fear in my heart. If Su Yao could fight so bravely, what reason did I have to back down? I gripped my weapon tightly and joined the battle.

The battle was exceptionally fierce, with both sides fighting with bloodlust. Blood splattered everywhere, limbs and severed bodies were scattered all over the ground, and the air was thick with the stench of blood.

I brandished my weapon, relentlessly slaying the approaching dark beasts, but the enemies were too numerous, and I gradually felt overwhelmed. Just when I was about to give up, a hand grabbed me.

I turned my head and saw Su Yao. Her armor was damaged and her face was covered in blood, but her eyes remained firm, like a burning flame that would never be extinguished.

"Are you alright?" she asked with concern.

I shook my head, about to speak, when I suddenly saw a dark figure appear behind her... "Su Yao, watch out!"

I yelled and pulled Su Yao sharply towards me. A dark shadow flashed past her—a dark magic arrow released by the Beastmaster. The arrow grazed my arm, leaving a burn mark. The sharp pain made me gasp, but what terrified me even more was the thought that if I had reacted any slower, Su Yao would have…

I dared not think any further and held Su Yao tightly. She seemed startled too, leaning against me, breathing heavily.

The sounds of fighting around us gradually faded away, leaving only the two of us. Her hair was slightly disheveled, and her clothes were soaked with sweat, clinging to her body and outlining her graceful figure. She looked up at me, her eyes filled with a hint of allure, a hint of tenderness, and a hint of… dependence?

I couldn't help but lower my head and kiss her lips. This kiss contained so many emotions: fear, worry, love, and... longing.

We embraced tightly, as if trying to merge into each other's bodies. The air around us seemed to heat up, and the sounds of battle and the smell of blood from the battlefield faded away.

I don't know how much time passed before we finally separated. Su Yao's cheeks were flushed, and her eyes were glazed, but she quickly came to her senses and pushed me away. "Now is not the time..." she whispered, her tone tinged with shyness and regret.

I understood what she meant. The situation was urgent, and we shouldn't let our personal feelings get the better of us. I nodded, suppressing the turmoil in my heart, and returned to the battlefield with her.

The Aesir Beastmasters continued to unleash dark magic from the rear, raining down black arrows that put immense pressure on our defenses. The Polonium Beastmasters' vanguard also seized the opportunity to launch a fierce attack, and our lines teetered on the brink of collapse.

Su Yao charged into the enemy ranks once more, her longsword dancing like a silver dragon in the darkness, slaying one dark beast after another. Her bravery boosted morale, and the warriors of the Beast Taming Realm fought back fiercely, temporarily stabilizing their defenses.

But my heart grew heavier and heavier. Su Yao was powerful, but she was only one person. And the dark forces had many more powerful individuals and even greater strength.
