"My Lord Beastmaster Iridium," I began.

He slowly turned around, a gentle smile on his face. "Nong Yu? Is something the matter?"

I stepped forward and held the letter up to his eyes. "I think you can recognize the handwriting on this letter, right?"

His smile froze, and his face instantly turned ashen. He stared at the letter, his eyes flickering, his Adam's apple bobbing, but he couldn't utter a single word.

“‘My Lord Beastmaster, everything is ready, awaiting only your command…’” I read the contents of the letter word by word, each word like a heavy hammer striking his heart.

He jerked his head up, his eyes filled with panic and terror. "This...this letter is fake! Someone's framing me!"

I sneered, "Framed? This letter was found in your study, the sealing wax stamp on the envelope is your personal seal, and even the letter paper is the kind used exclusively in your study. Lord Yi Beastmaster, how else do you intend to deny it?"

He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. "Nong Yu, I know you've always had a problem with me, but you can't fabricate evidence to frame me!"

I took a small wooden box from my storage bag, and inside was an exquisite jade pendant. "This jade pendant was Platinum Strategist's personal possession. I found it in a secret room in your study. I smiled slightly, not answering his question, but instead turning my gaze to the window, looking at the distant sky. "Lord Iridium Beastmaster, is there anything else you wish to say?"

His gaze flickered uncertainly, as if he were making a final struggle. Suddenly, a ruthless glint flashed in his eyes, and he reached out to grab the letter from my hand.

"It seems you're not going to admit it." I was prepared and dodged his attack by sidestepping.

Seeing that his attack had missed, he turned to flee. How could I let him have his way? I darted forward and blocked his path.

"Lord Iridium Beast Tamer, you'd better surrender. You can't escape."

His face was contorted with rage, and he glared at me through gritted teeth. "Nong Yu, you...you dare ruin my plans!"

"Nong Yu, you've gone too far!" Yi Beast Tamer roared, brandishing his longsword and creating gusts of wind as he attacked me. His swordplay was fierce and deadly, clearly aimed to kill.

I dared not be careless and summoned my tamed beast—the Crimson Flame Lion. A deafening roar echoed through the sky as the Crimson Flame Lion stood majestically in front of me, its massive claws clashing against the Beastmaster's longsword, producing a piercing metallic clang.

"Xiaoyu, be careful!" Su Yao's voice came from the side, tinged with worry. I turned to look and saw her holding a long spear, her gaze fixed on me with unwavering determination, her eyes filled with love and pride. That look seemed to tell me that she believed in me and would always support me.

Su Yao's appearance filled me with strength. I took a deep breath, my gaze hardening. I couldn't let her down, and I couldn't let down those who supported me.

"Iridium Beastmaster, you have nowhere to escape!" I shouted, conjuring a dazzling golden light in my hand and slamming it down on the Iridium Beastmaster.

The Beastmaster was unable to dodge in time and was struck by the golden light. He let out a scream and staggered backward. The longsword in his hand also fell to the ground with a crisp sound.

"You...you..." The Beastmaster clutched his chest, his eyes filled with fear and despair. He knew he had lost, utterly lost.

I approached him step by step, and said in an icy tone, "Iridium Beastmaster, now, do you have anything else to say?"

He raised his head, a flicker of struggle crossing his eyes, but it quickly vanished. He lowered his head and remained silent.

Just then, a dark figure flashed by and disappeared into the night. My heart skipped a beat, and I immediately realized that it was Strategist Platinum's assistant, Palladium's assistant! He must have gone to inform Strategist Platinum.

When Platinum Strategist learns that Iridium Beastmaster has been exposed, what will he do? Will he choose to flee, or will he plot something else?

"Su Yao, you stay here and watch over the Iridium Beast Tamer. I'll be right back," I said to Su Yao.

Su Yao nodded and gripped the spear tightly in her hand.

I turned and left, chasing after the direction in which the shadowy figure had disappeared.

I grabbed the Beastmaster by the collar and lifted him off the ground. "Tell me! Besides you, who else was involved in this conspiracy?!"
