Su Yao also summoned her tamed beast—a snow-white ice phoenix.

The Ice Phoenix let out a clear cry, spread its wings, and snowflakes danced in the air, freezing some of the Star Devouring Bats into ice sculptures.

However, even the combined forces of Crimson Flame and Ice Phoenix could not withstand such a massive number.

At the end of the passage, a huge gate of light appeared, which was the outer defensive ring of the Beast Taming Star.

A man clad in silver armor stood in front of the portal of light. He was burly, with sharp eyes, and exuded a powerful aura.

"Who goes there?" he asked in a deep voice.

"We're here to participate in the Beast Taming Tournament," I replied.
