Beast Taming Star Journey

Chapter 222 The Star Path is Perilous, Strength Overcomes It

The moment I stepped into the interstellar passage, the surrounding scenery changed instantly.

We felt as if we were in a strange space, surrounded by colorful lights, like being in a dreamlike galaxy.

The magnificent light danced like silk, weaving strange patterns in the void, sometimes like blooming lotus flowers, sometimes like roaring dragons.

However, this beautiful scene hides a great danger.

I felt a powerful force pulling at us, as if it were going to tear us to pieces.

This power fluctuates in strength, rising and falling like breathing, making it unpredictable.

"Yu, look..." Su Yao suddenly exclaimed, pointing ahead with a hint of fear in her voice.

I looked in the direction she was pointing, and saw that the originally brilliant light in front of me suddenly became distorted, spinning like a vortex, emitting a heart-palpitating wave.

Before I could react, a powerful suction force came from the vortex and instantly pulled Su Yao into it.

I watched helplessly as she was sucked into that bizarre vortex, powerless to stop her.

"Su Yao!" I screamed, reaching out to grab her, but only grasping at nothingness.

My heart felt as if it were being squeezed tightly by an invisible hand, and the pain spread throughout my body.

I rushed towards the vortex like a madman, trying to pull Su Yao back, but was pushed away by a powerful force.

This force was like an invisible wall, blocking my way forward.

"Su Yao! Where are you!" I shouted, my voice echoing through the corridor, but I received no response.

Despair surged into my heart like a tidal wave, almost drowning me.

I'm not reconciled; I can't lose her like this!

I suppressed my grief and began searching along the passageway.

The interstellar passage was a bizarre and chaotic maze, and I wandered around like a headless fly, but I could not find Su Yao anywhere.

I called Su Yao's name over and over again, my voice hoarse, but there was no response.

Despair and fear clung to me like venomous snakes, nearly driving me to the brink of collapse.

Chi Yan paced anxiously around me, occasionally letting out a low growl, seemingly also worried about Su Yao's disappearance.

Suddenly, I felt a faint connection, a special bond between me and Chi Yan. But this time, this connection seemed to be mixed with another familiar aura... Su Yao!

I suddenly raised my head and, following the faint connection, ran deeper into the passage... Something seemed to be waiting for me ahead... I ran with all my might, following the faint connection, the light in the passage rushing past me.

Crimson Flame followed closely behind me, its anxious growls seeming to echo my worries.

Finally, around a corner, I saw her!

Su Yao was trapped in an energy sphere that shimmered with a ghostly blue light, her face pale and her eyes tightly closed.

"Su Yao!" I shouted again, my voice filled with anxiety and worry.

She seemed to hear my voice; her eyelids twitched slightly, but she still didn't wake up.

The pale blue energy ball emitted a powerful repulsive force. I tried to get closer, but it was as if I had hit an invisible wall and was bounced back hard.

"Crimson Flame, Heaven-Burning Blaze!" I commanded the Crimson Flame.

Crimson Flame roared to the sky, spewing out a blazing flame that shot straight towards the dark blue energy ball like a fire dragon.

The flames collided with the energy ball, producing a piercing explosion that shook the surrounding space.

The pale blue light gradually dimmed, cracks began to appear in the energy ball, and it finally shattered with a crash. Su Yao slowly fell into my arms.

"Are you alright?" I held her tightly, feeling her faint breath, and the weight that had been hanging over my heart finally lifted.

Su Yao weakly opened her eyes, saw it was me, and a faint smile appeared on her lips: "I'm fine, just a little weak."

Just then, a figure suddenly appeared and blocked our way.

It was that Beast Tamer who competed against me in the selection competition. He had a greedy smile on his face: "I didn't expect you to make it this far. It seems your Beast Tamer Star Summoning Token is quite something. Hand it over!"

"What do you want to do?" I looked at him warily, shielding Su Yao behind me.

"What are we doing? Of course, we're here to steal your tokens!" The Beastmaster sneered, commanding his beast, a giant lizard, to attack us.

"Crimson Flame, Blazing Storm!" I gave the order without hesitation.

Crimson Flame roared again, and a powerful firestorm swept out, instantly engulfing the lizard.

The Beastmaster's expression changed drastically; he clearly hadn't expected Crimson Flame to be so powerful.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, I commanded Crimson Flame to launch a fierce attack. Each of Crimson Flame's attacks carried the momentum of burning the heavens and destroying the earth. The Beastmaster was forced to retreat step by step and was eventually knocked away by Crimson Flame, falling heavily to the ground.

"You...you just wait!" The Beast Tamer clutched his chest, struggled to his feet, uttered a harsh threat, and then turned and fled into the depths of the passage.

I didn't give chase, but instead focused my attention on Su Yao.

Her face was still pale, and she needed to recover her strength as soon as possible.

I helped her continue walking forward. The depths of the interstellar passage were still full of unknown dangers. The appearance of the Bromine Beastmaster was just the beginning... Suddenly, Su Yao grabbed my arm, her eyes filled with fear.

“Look…” she pointed ahead, her voice trembling. I followed her gaze… At the end of the passage, something shadowy seemed to be approaching… A suffocating sense of oppression filled the air… I gripped my sword tightly, a sense of foreboding rising within me…

“Get ready…” I whispered, my voice echoing in the empty corridor…
