Beast Taming Star Journey

Pushing open the classroom door, a strange smell rushed out, mixed with a faint smell of animal hide and some unknown herbal fragrance.

I saw various complex materials on beast taming on the podium, thick sheepskin scrolls piled up like a small mountain, and some strange beast taming props scattered around them—uniquely shaped metal collars, faintly glowing crystals, and some strange plants that I had never seen before.

My hand unconsciously reached for the Beast Taming Token in my pocket. The little fire fox gently rubbed against my fingers, as if to encourage me.

I took a deep breath. What would today's lesson be? The classroom was already quite full of students, each with a hint of nervousness and anticipation on their face.

I found an empty seat and sat down. My roommate Zhang followed me in. He looked a little pale and was obviously still worried about what happened yesterday.

The school bell rang, and an elderly man with gray hair walked into the classroom.

Elder Li began explaining the characteristics and usage of various beast-taming tools, covering a wide range of knowledge from basic energy supplements to complex array runes.

He explained things in a simple and easy-to-understand way, but the content was extremely complicated. My classmates were all trying hard to understand and were taking notes furiously.

Although I have the help of the little fire fox and a natural sensitivity to some beast-taming knowledge, I still feel somewhat strained.

I picked up the second prop, a crystal-clear red crystal... My hand steadily reached for the next prop... I picked up the crystal-clear red crystal, it felt warm to the touch, and a wave of intense energy emanated from it.

I smiled slightly and continued to pick up the third, fourth and so on. With each item I picked up, I could clearly feel the flow of energy within it. Little Fire Fox always gave me timely hints, allowing me to understand the characteristics of the items more quickly.

While other students were still figuring things out, I had already completed the first step, accurately identifying the characteristics of all the props.

A gasp of surprise rippled through the classroom. I saw my roommate Zhang looking at me with adoration and envy in his eyes.

A surge of pride welled up within me, but even more so, I felt gratitude towards the little Firefox. Without it, I could never have accomplished this.

After identifying all the props, Elder Li instructed me to proceed to the next step—activating the props. This required more precise control and stronger mental focus.

I took a deep breath, picked up the red crystal, and slowly began to recite the incantation that appeared in my mind.

As the incantation was chanted, the light on the crystal grew brighter and brighter, and a powerful energy wave spread outwards.

I felt the energy within my body flowing rapidly, resonating with the energy of the crystal.

Fine beads of sweat appeared on my forehead, but my hands remained unusually steady, gripping the crystal tightly and controlling the flow of energy.

Suddenly, Su Yao's image appeared in my mind; her encouraging gaze and warm smile gave me strength. A warm current surged through my heart, and my mental focus became even stronger.

With a "whoosh," the light on the crystal suddenly burst forth, and a powerful burst of fire-attribute energy surged out, illuminating the entire classroom in a red glow.

I successfully activated the crystal! Elder Li looked at me, his eyes filled with admiration, "Very good, you have great talent, keep up the good work."

I put away the crystal and returned to my seat, my heart filled with joy. But I also noticed that some classmates looked at me with a hint of jealousy and hostility.
