Beast Taming Star Journey

It was late at night, and the dormitory was quiet except for my roommate Zhang and me, who were chatting casually.

He was still excited about what happened during the day, repeatedly saying, "Nong Yu, you're amazing! You're my idol!"

I smiled and shook my head, but my heart remained unsettled.

Today's events have made me realize more deeply that in this dog-eat-dog world, only by having sufficient strength can one protect oneself and those around them.

Suddenly, a series of heavy footsteps broke the silence of the dormitory.

Senior Wang sneered and strode into the dormitory. His followers followed in one after another, crowding the small dormitory to the brim.

"Hey, isn't this that arrogant freshman from earlier today?" Senior Wang said sarcastically, his gaze sweeping over me with a provocative air.

"Senior Wang, what... what are you doing?" Zhang's roommate asked in a trembling voice.

"What are you doing?" Senior Wang laughed heartily. "The newcomers don't know the rules, so as their senior, I naturally have to teach you a thing or two!"

He walked up to me, looked down at me, and said, "Kid, I heard you've got guts? You dare to challenge me? Today I'll show you who's the boss in this academy!"

He paused, then said, "Hand over all your valuables as a gift to your seniors. That way, I can protect you from now on, how about it?"

Although his tone sounded like a negotiation, the threat in his eyes was undisguised. I stared at him coldly, without saying a word.

My hand quietly slipped into my pocket and grasped the warm, smooth beast-taming token.

"What? You don't want to?" Seeing that I didn't react, Senior Wang's face darkened. "You won't listen to reason, so you'll have to suffer the consequences! Brothers, get them!"

As soon as he finished speaking, several of his henchmen surrounded him, eager to get started.

"Wait!" I said in a deep voice.

Senior Wang stopped and looked at me with a half-smile. "What? Changed your mind?"

I shook my head, a cold smile playing on my lips. "I just want to say that you'd better think carefully about the consequences."

As I spoke, I slowly took my hand out of my pocket. In my palm lay a Beast Taming Token, emitting a faint glow.

"A...a Beast Taming Token?!" one of Wang's followers exclaimed in surprise.

Senior Wang's expression also changed slightly. He stared intently at the Beast Taming Token in my hand, a hint of apprehension flashing in his eyes...

“You…” The Beast Taming Token in my hand shone even brighter, and a warm aura flowed through my entire body.

I felt a powerful force welling up from the bottom of my heart, a force that filled me with confidence.

"You...you actually have a Beast Taming Token!" Senior Wang's voice trembled slightly, and his followers behind him also took a step back, their eyes filled with fear.

I sneered, ignoring their surprise, and focused my attention on the Beast Taming Token in my hand.

With a thought, a white light flashed, and a small, snow-white beast appeared before me.

It is small in size, only the size of a palm, but its pair of bright green eyes gleam with a captivating light.

The moment it appeared, the temperature in the entire dormitory seemed to drop several degrees, and a powerful aura spread out.

"What is this?!" Wang Xuechang's followers exclaimed in surprise, they had never seen such a peculiar beast before.

The little beast gently rubbed against my hand and let out a low growl, as if it were showing me a scare.

I stroked its soft fur and said softly, "Little guy, it's our turn to perform."

Senior Wang's face turned ashen. He hadn't expected that I would actually summon a beast, and that the aura emanating from that beast would be so powerful.

Enraged, he roared, "Go get it! Bite it to death!"

No sooner had he finished speaking than one of his henchmen released his tamed beast, a large gray wolf. The wolf roared and pounced on the smaller beast.

With a thought, the little beast darted away, nimbly dodging the gray wolf's attack. Its speed was astonishing, like a white lightning bolt, darting through the dormitory.

The gray wolf missed its target and crashed heavily into the wall, letting out a mournful howl.

The little beast didn't give the gray wolf a chance to catch its breath. Before the gray wolf could react, it suddenly leaped up and bit the gray wolf's neck.

The gray wolf let out a miserable howl, struggled a few times, and then collapsed to the ground, unable to fight.

The entire dormitory fell silent. Senior Wang and his followers were stunned. They hadn't expected my beast taming to be so powerful, defeating the gray wolf in just one move.

Wang Xuechang's face turned even uglier, his eyes filled with shock and anger.

"You...you actually dared to..." He pointed at me, unable to speak for a long time. I looked at him coldly and said, "Senior Wang, do you still think you can protect us now?"

Senior Wang gritted his teeth, glared at me fiercely, then turned and left the dormitory with his followers.

Before leaving, he threw down a harsh threat: "Kid, you just wait, this isn't over!"

I know that Wang won't let this go; he'll definitely find a way to retaliate. I must be even more careful and protect myself and my roommate Zhang.

Zhang, my roommate, snapped out of his shock and excitedly grabbed my arm, saying, "Nongyu, you're amazing! You actually defeated Senior Wang's beast!"

I patted him on the shoulder and said, "Don't be too happy yet. We still need to be careful to guard against Senior Wang's retaliation."

The next morning, I got up early to prepare for class. I had a feeling that things wouldn't end so easily.

Pushing open the classroom door, a strange atmosphere rushed towards me. I saw various complex materials on beast taming and some strange beast taming props on the podium... My hand unconsciously reached for the beast taming token in my pocket.
