The residents' hesitant voices pierced my heart like a sharp thorn. "They all say... you're using the Beastmaster to try and take over Sunset City with his power. You... you don't really want to fight against the Lithium forces!"

I felt the blood rush to my head, my face turning pale and then flushed. The lithium forces actually spread such rumors! I never even considered such a thing! Senior Boron Beastmaster trusted me so much, how could I possibly do something so treacherous?

"I understand." I tried to suppress my anger, but my voice trembled uncontrollably. I had to see Senior Beastmaster Boron immediately and explain everything!

I practically ran to the residence of the Beast Tamer. The night was deep, and the cold wind howled, stinging my cheeks, but it couldn't compare to the anxiety in my heart at that moment.

"Senior! Senior Beast Tamer!" I pounded on the door, my heart filled with unease. Rumors, like venomous snakes, spread silently, eroding people's trust.

“You don’t need to say anything,” Senior Boron Beastmaster interrupted me. “I trust you, and that’s enough. What we need to do now is to cooperate more closely, thwart the lithium forces’ conspiracy, and restore peace to Sunset City!” His words were firm and powerful, filling me with confidence.

I nodded emphatically, my heart filled with gratitude and admiration.

Just as I was about to discuss the next steps with Senior Beast Tamer, a soft hand gently took my arm... I turned my head and saw Su Yao standing beside me, holding my arm tightly, her eyes filled with trust and love for me.

That gentle gaze, like a clear spring, washed away the lingering unease and restlessness in my heart, making me feel incredibly warm and strong.

"I believe you." Su Yao's voice was soft yet firm, like a warm current flowing into my heart. I took her hand in return, squeezed it tightly, and smiled gratefully.
