"Nong Yu!" Su Yao's exclamation was almost drowned out by the earth-shattering roar of the divine beast. I was violently shoved aside by her, barely dodging a claw powerful enough to split mountains and shatter rocks. The enormous claw slammed into the ground, sending shards of stone flying, and the earth seemed to tremble.

Her soft body pressed against mine, and I could feel her rapid heartbeat and her faint fragrance. A warm feeling welled up inside me, as if the pain in my body had lessened somewhat.

"I'm fine, it's just a minor injury." I forced a smile despite the pain.

After Su Yao finished bandaging my wound, she raised her head and looked at Senior Yin with a determined gaze: "Senior, please help us, we must get the Star Soul Grass!"
