The chilling atmosphere clung to me like a leech, impossible to shake off. I looked up, and even the lights of the arena seemed to dim, a strange sense of oppression enveloping me.

The opponent's profile contained nothing but the words "Shadow Cheetah" and a blurry profile picture. This made me even more uneasy.

Su Yao walked over to me and patted my shoulder: "What's wrong? You don't look well."

I shook my head and handed her the documents: "The next opponent is going to be a bit tricky."

Su Yao took the information and glanced at it, her brows furrowing slightly: "Shadow Cheetahs? They're notoriously difficult to deal with. They're incredibly fast and can blend perfectly into the shadows, making them very hard to track."

"We have to think of a solution." Ellie came over and looked at me with concern: "Nongyu, are you alright?" I forced a smile: "I'm fine, I'm just thinking of a plan."

I closed my eyes and tried to recall everything I knew about the Shadow Cheetah.

Their speed, their attack methods, their weaknesses... Suddenly, a brilliant idea flashed into my mind.

I suddenly opened my eyes and looked at Su Yao and Ellie: "I need a beast tamer with keen senses!"

Su Yao and Ellie were both taken aback for a moment, then understood what I meant. Su Yao said, "I know where it is, follow me!"

We quickly left the arena and arrived at a secluded beast trading market. There, I found the beast I needed—a pure white spirit fox.

It possesses extraordinary sensory abilities, capable of detecting any subtle changes in its surroundings.

Without hesitation, I signed an equal contract with the spirit fox, and a powerful force instantly surged into my body.

I closed my eyes, sensing the spirit fox's perception, and everything around me became crystal clear. Back in the arena, I faced that mysterious opponent once more.

He remained silent, a strange smile on his face.

The starting bell rang, but my opponent didn't attack immediately. Instead, he stood quietly in place, as if waiting for something.

The light in the arena seemed to dim further, and shadows began to spread, writhing like living things.

I focused my mind and carefully searched the surrounding shadows through the fox spirit's senses.

Suddenly, I sensed something amiss. In the shadows on the right side of the arena, a blurry silhouette flashed by. "There!" I thought to myself.

I immediately commanded the mountain ape to attack in that direction. With a loud "boom," the mountain ape's giant fist slammed into the shadows, but missed its target.

"Heh..." My opponent chuckled, his voice filled with mockery. The Shadow Cheetah was faster than I expected; it had already moved.

But I didn't give up. I continued to use the fox's senses to track the shadow leopard. Finally, I located the shadow leopard again.

This time, I won't fail again! "Mountain Giant Ape, prepare..." Before I could finish speaking, a strange smile suddenly appeared on my opponent's face.

"Do you really think you can find me?" My opponent's voice seemed to carry a certain magic, making my heart sink.

No sooner had the words left his mouth than the cheetah, which had been lurking in the shadows, suddenly appeared, no longer relying on concealment, but choosing to launch a frontal assault!

It transformed into a black lightning bolt, moving at an astonishing speed. Before I could even react, its sharp claws had already closed in on the mountain ape.

"Roar!" The mountain ape roared, its massive body trying to block the cheetah's attack, but it was clearly slower than its opponent and could only passively take the hits.

"Spirit Fox, help me disrupt it!" I immediately gave the command to Spirit Fox.

The fox let out a sharp cry, and a white light enveloped the cheetah, attempting to disrupt its movements.

I seized the opportunity and commanded the mountain ape to launch a counterattack.
