I came back right after finishing my daifuku, and brought some other things with me: "This is honey, the leftovers from yesterday, you can have it for breakfast. There's also some pizza here, it's cold, but the honey is still drinkable."
I politely accepted it. And I must say, honey with pizza is really delicious. When I was living in a rented room, I usually ate steamed buns with boiled water, and I always longed for the red wine with steak that I saw on TV.
I never expected that honey with pizza would be so delicious. It's truly amazing how life is full of surprises.
You'll never know whether combining two things is delicious or poison until you experience it.
After eating a small piece of pizza with honey, I instantly felt energized, and my headache lessened considerably. That butterfly-shaped cauliflower is truly amazing!
I took off and looked around. It was already around 10 a.m. I didn't expect to sleep so long. I'd better hurry up and set off.
I originally wanted to find a few representatives to say goodbye, but I found that most of the people I could see were lying on the ground, and I don't know where the people I couldn't see had gone.
I didn't know where their houses were, so I had Dafu leave a few words in fly language before we flew towards the village entrance.
Only there are tractors going to town, and only in town are there buses going to the city.
So the first thing we did was go to the village entrance to wait for the tractor to go to town. As we flew toward the village entrance, I suddenly noticed a man sneaking around the village.
It's 10 a.m. now. Usually, the family members are either going to the market or busy with something else, so they're mostly already up, while the children are playing in the village.
The man then furtively approached the little girl with a piece of candy—the same little girl we saw earlier who had followed the little boy.
Because no one played with him, he sat alone on the side counting the little flowers in his hand, one or two at a time, which made him look exceptionally cute.
The middle-aged man walked over and said very solicitously, "Little sister, I have some candy here, would you like some?"
Oh no, could these be the legendary human traffickers? Coming to the village to kidnap children? I was extremely nervous watching from the air.
"Uncle, we're not making plans. I'm waiting for my brother. I don't like anyone but my brother," the little girl said innocently.
……
The little girl's words stunned not only me but also the child trafficker. What do kids watch at home these days when they have nothing to do? Is this something a child should say?
"Ah, Uncle doesn't want to go, Uncle doesn't want to go," the trafficker said awkwardly, unable to find a topic to continue the conversation.
"Okay, then you can go now. I'm waiting for my brother." The little girl said innocently, probably waiting for her brother to take her to catch butterflies.
But when I glanced over, I saw his older brother in the distance was having a great time playing castle hopping with his friends, completely forgetting that there was a little sister waiting for him there.
The trafficker took a few steps, then secretly took out a handkerchief from his pocket and walked towards the little girl, covering her mouth and nose with it.
The girl didn't even scream; she just frantically pricked her hand a few times with the needle in the air before fainting.
Damn it, I've always hated human traffickers. They're more heinous than robbers, more deserving of death than murderers, and I actually encountered one myself.
This is murder, this is robbery, this guy deserves to die! Now that I've seen it, how can I let him go? How can I?
No matter what, I have to rescue that little girl. If I just leave like this, my conscience will never forgive me.
So I quickly said to Dafu, "Go to the village and find other insects to help. I'll follow that guy first. Remember to follow my scent to find me."
"One or two cents is a human matter; we'd better not get involved. We're on different paths, so we shouldn't work together," Dafu said, not entirely agreeing with my opinion.
"Hmm? Did you see that kid get tricked and run away not long ago?" I said, quite annoyed.
“But how can you save her? You can’t save her at all, and you’ll just lose your life in vain.” Dafu still tried to persuade me.
"You don't have to save him, but I will. I'll find a way." After saying that, I flew towards that person.
"Twenty-two cents!" Dafu called out anxiously from behind.
I pretended not to hear and rushed toward the person. I didn't see him, but I couldn't pretend I didn't see anything. Besides, if I did, how could my conscience allow me to live with myself?
Even if I were to become a human being again, could I still be considered human with that cold attitude?
So no matter what method I use, I want to rescue that little girl, even if it takes a long time.
The man grabbed the little girl and tried to run away. I wanted to do something, but it was clear there was nothing I could do. The only thing I could do was follow him and try to find a chance to tell others that he was a bad person.
I don't believe that this guy won't run into police or something like that.
The human trafficker stealthily and cautiously arrived at a secluded place where there was a motorcycle with a convertible seat on the back, similar to a baby stroller.
There was only a thin black cloth covering it, and the man placed the little girl on the seat, covered it with the black cloth, and was about to leave.
Seeing this, I was almost frantic. If he got on his motorcycle and ran away, how was I supposed to catch up? Was I really going to fail like this?
Are we just going to stand by and watch the human trafficker escape with the little girl?
I was so anxious! I was spinning around in the air, desperately trying to think of a way to stop the man from driving his motorcycle. Why am I so weak? If I were just a little stronger, I could have saved the little girl. Why am I so powerless?
I was almost in tears.
Thinking about crying, it suddenly occurred to me that the eyes are the most vulnerable part of the human body and there are no protective measures at all. So, isn't this my opportunity?
So I flew towards the man. In rural areas, people don't usually wear helmets when riding motorcycles; they just ride off.
So the human trafficker was no exception; he got on his bike and was about to leave. How could I let that happen? So I immediately rushed towards the man, determined to stop him no matter what.
Only by stopping that man can I have a chance to rescue the little girl; otherwise, everything else is pointless.
