The moment I encountered those grasshoppers, I knew there would be a fierce battle today, so I immediately sent Dafu away so that I could escape.

But to my surprise, even though I managed to get Dafu away, even though I could easily escape, even though I could dodge the attacks of those grasshoppers, I never expected that they would have a backup plan.

I somehow managed to get help from a spider. Just when I thought I was about to escape, my foot got caught in a spider web, and I was tragically captured.

He fell into a deep sleep after being bitten by the spider.

I'll probably be in that pile like those insects from before.

I just passed out like that. This time I didn't dream at all, and it was actually the sweetest sleep I had ever had since I was reborn. I didn't have a single nightmare, or even a pleasant dream. I just quietly drifted off to sleep.

I don't know how much time passed when I felt someone calling me, telling me to wake up, constantly calling in my ear.

Was this all just a dream? Am I really about to wake up? And then I can go to work?

I slowly opened my eyes, but what I saw was a huge fly staring at me, which made me scream immediately.

"Twenty-two cents, keep your voice down, what are you doing?" the fly called out anxiously.

Only now have I truly woken up. Isn't that fly in front of me Dafu? It seems I wasn't dreaming. I looked at Dafu with resignation and distress.

I remember being bitten by that spider before, didn't I let Dafu go before the spider caught me?

How did I end up here? What happened?

I asked, puzzled, "What are you doing here? Didn't I tell you to leave? Why are you back? Did you fail to catch them either?"

My tone sounded a little anxious. Seeing Dafu appear beside me, the only explanation now was that Dafu had also been caught and brought back.

"Shh... Keep your voice down, don't attract the enemy's attention," Dafu whispered.

I was dumbfounded by Dafu's actions. What was going on? Had Dafu come back to save me? But why would Dafu come back to save me?

"I'm definitely not fully awake yet," I said to Dafu before lying down to sleep again.

But then again, wasn't that dream real? If it wasn't real, would it still be a dream?

"One cent and two cents, hurry up, we'll be late if we don't leave now! Stop playing!" Dafu called out anxiously from the side.

"It's a dream, it must be a dream," I said softly, lying down.

"Do you think your herbs aren't working?" I suddenly heard Dafu say to someone nearby.

"That shouldn't be the case. It should be working. This is my family's secret recipe passed down through generations," I heard a voice say not far from me.

Why does that sound so familiar? I quickly opened my eyes and looked toward the source of the sound. There I saw two flies, one big and one small, not far in front of me.

Isn't that the father and son flies who refused to help this morning? How did they end up here?

Seeing these two guys, I knew I wasn't dreaming. It seemed that Dafu had really met that father and son fly duo who came to save me.

"How did you end up with them?" I asked, puzzled. How could I have run into that father and son in such a big cabbage field? It seemed so unreliable.

“I met them while I was on the run, and I was very worried about you, so I asked them to come with me to see how you were. But when we saw that you had been bitten by that spider, we went to find the antidote herbs and that’s how we got here,” Dafu explained to me.

"How do you know that herb can detoxify?" I asked, puzzled.

“I know, this is a family remedy passed down through generations. If you get bitten by a spider, there are bound to be antidotes nearby, so we found them and helped you,” the father and son flies quickly explained.

Damn, this story sounds so familiar! It's about how if you get bitten by a poisonous snake in the wild, there's always an antidote within ten feet of the bite site.

When did this become his family's secret recipe? Why don't you apply for UNESCO World Heritage status for it?

Have you no shame? Do you even know what a face is?

I couldn't be bothered with the father and son flies, and quickly asked Dafu, "How did you end up here? Where are the grasshoppers and spiders? Did they find you?"

“We came after the grasshoppers and spiders left. They had already gone to catch up with the other remaining contestants, so there are no guards here now,” Dafu explained.

"They were too confident in your venom, so there were no guards left here, which is why we were able to come back and rescue you," the fly explained.

“Okay, even if what you’re saying makes sense, what do we do now? What’s your plan?” I asked the big fly.

"I'm just here to rescue you. As for what happens next, she said you've already figured it out. You'll lead us out of here," the giant fly said bluntly.

So I looked over at the large fortune, and when it met my gaze, it nodded rather blankly, as if it felt embarrassed for taking the initiative.

Seeing Dafu's expression, I knew that he must have promised someone something in return for helping him save me.

One of the advantages is that I can take them out with me, and I already have a way to do that.

But what can I do? I don't even know where I am or what the current situation is. How am I supposed to know how to escape?

I glanced at the large baguette with a sense of unease, then looked around to see where I was and what time it was. I wondered how long I had been unconscious.

These problems can be seen just by looking at the sunlight. Fortunately, it didn't last too long, at most a little over an hour, less than two hours.
