Rebirth: I Became a Maggot 2

Damn it, why am I so unlucky? I could have been unlucky before, it was a matter of life and death, at worst I would just die and be done with it, but this time it's different. This time I'm going to give birth to little caterpillars. Just thinking about it makes me feel nauseous, it's like living a life worse than death.

The rooster was about to run away, but it seemed to hear my voice and looked in my direction. As soon as the rooster looked at me, the large green caterpillars next to me immediately scattered and ignored me completely.

Now I'm the only maggot left on the ground. The rooster ran over, grabbed me in its beak, and rushed out quickly.

The dog behind them was still chasing them relentlessly, and it seemed like the chase wasn't going to end anytime soon.

Because of my previous experience, I didn't say anything. What if the rooster started talking and bit me in half?

The rooster is desperately trying to escape, and I'm stuck in its beak. You can imagine how uncomfortable I am; it's even worse than riding a roller coaster!

Just when I was about to lose it, the dog suddenly rushed up and grabbed the rooster with both paws, pinning it to the ground.

With the rooster's crow and the force of the impact, I was propelled forward by the inertia.

It rushed towards a piece of bone in front of it and got stuck inside it.

Many people may not know what a "tank bone" is. A tank bone is the bone at the joint of a pig, specifically the bone between the thigh and lower leg joints. This bone is usually used to make soup.

I told Dafu everything in one go, because I had no intention of being with that caterpillar.

I'm going to turn back into a human, you know. I don't want to be with any weird things. What if some monster I can't even imagine appears? Just thinking about it terrifies me.

After hearing my story, Dafu was silent for a moment before asking, "So, what are you planning to do to solve this?"

What solution? What kind of problem is this? Does this mean I really have to marry that caterpillar?

I stared at Dafu in surprise. What did that mean? Of course it meant to run away. Even if it couldn't run away, it could only try to leave this place. It wasn't about taking responsibility.

That Dafu really lived up to his reputation after going through so many things with me; we basically spent the entire journey on the run.

"Why are we running away? It's only 12 cents!" Dafu, who was following behind me, asked, puzzled.

"Can I not run? If I don't run, I'll be caught and made to have kittens with those caterpillars. Of course I have to run!" I explained as I ran for my life.

The word "run" here means "run fast." From a human perspective, it would look like two maggots crawling frantically in front of them, while several large green caterpillars chase them desperately behind.

"You don't want to be with that caterpillar because of me, right?" Dafu suddenly asked as he crawled behind him.

God, I wish I could just be struck by lightning and die! What have I been encountering? I thought only ignorant young girls in the human world had crushes, but it seems like they do too in the animal kingdom.

Is it true that every female woman has this infatuation?

What kind of time is this to ask this? How big is this maggot Dafu's nerve?

I had no desire to answer Dafu's question. If it weren't for the fact that you had saved me so many times, I wouldn't bother with you at all. Of course, I was just saying that to myself as I desperately ran towards the big banyan tree.
