Rebirth: I Became a Maggot 2

Chapter 18 was raped by a flea

Around the chicken coop were some firewood and other things. I don't know why this family kept a rooster, but that's normal. Usually, rural families only keep a few chickens.

They either eat it themselves or use the eggs they lay; they rarely sell it. Now there's only one chicken left. I guess the hens were all killed for the New Year, leaving only the rooster.

No wonder this guy went after someone else's hen.

I was so sleepy, and after looking around, I figured there was no danger, so I fell asleep peacefully.

I basically fell asleep leaning against the haystack in that chicken coop, but because it was straw, I fell through the gap after only a short while and was squeezed into the straw.

I'm too lazy to climb back up. I'd better go to sleep first. We can talk about everything tomorrow. As long as I can sleep, nothing else matters.

But the more I try to sleep, the more things seem to interfere. For example, right now, I've only been asleep for a short while, and suddenly I feel very itchy all over; it's not just painful, itchy.

Feeling quite annoyed, I rolled over and went back to sleep. It's normal to feel itchy when sleeping in straw, so I didn't pay much attention to it and just rolled over and went back to sleep.

But my body is getting itchier and itchier. I'm so sleepy now, but I can't stand the itching. So I vaguely wanted to scratch it with my hand, but when I remembered to scratch it, I realized I didn't have any hands.

Feeling quite annoyed, I rolled over and looked down at the itchy spot on my lower body.

I saw several fleas biting me. Oh my god, seeing those fleas that looked like little monsters immediately scared me awake.

No wonder it was so itchy, I was bitten by fleas. I jumped up from the ground and tried to shake off the damn fleas, but because I was too excited, I moved too much and slid down into the rice stalks.

Before, it was in the middle, but now it has fallen directly to the bottom, and it's stuck there.

I'm stuck at the lowest level right now, and it's incredibly uncomfortable. Not only can I not move, but I can't even sleep. It's so painful.

That wasn't the worst part. The worst part was that as I fell, the fleas chased after me and landed directly on my body.

Are fleas these days so lawless? They dare to bite me even when I'm awake?

It was obvious that they were completely lawless; they not only bit me, but also started chatting with me.

"What kind of meat is this? Why is it so hard to chew?" one of the fleas asked curiously.

"I don't know, it's a maggot, you rarely get to eat one," the other said.

"Maggots? Don't maggots eat feces? How disgusting!"

"We're eating, don't talk about such disgusting topics. You're lucky to have anything to eat, and you're still being picky."

These two fleas actually started chatting, completely disregarding whether I accepted it or not.

"Hey, is it really okay for you to do this in front of me?" I exclaimed, feeling quite annoyed.

"Holy crap, you're not dead?" one of the fleas exclaimed in surprise.

"You're the one who's dead! Your whole family is dead!" I shouted angrily in my heart. "Which eye saw me die?"

"How do I look like I'm dead? You guys came over while I was sleeping," I said, quite annoyed.

"Holy crap, he's still alive! What did I just see? I actually found maggots in the chicken coop, and they're still alive! I'm so excited!" one of the fleas exclaimed excitedly.

"Look at you, so pathetic. You're just a maggot that hasn't died yet. Next time I'll take you to the toilet and let you see it properly," the other one said, clearly annoyed.

"But this one is different; it wasn't eaten by the rooster."

"You'd eat maggots? They're so disgusting. Roosters are such noble creatures, they certainly wouldn't eat them."

"What were we eating just now?"

"..."

Holy crap, these two fleas actually started chatting right in front of me, completely ignoring my presence. It's like I'm superfluous, just providing them with some interesting topics to talk about while they eat.

"Can you two stop fighting? Can you leave me alone? You're making me itch!" I pleaded.

"Okay, then let's stop arguing and start eating." One of the fleas said and then landed on me, making me feel like I was getting a shot, as if a thin tube had been inserted into me.

It was only then that I remembered fleas suck blood, and that their tiny tubes carry viruses; no wonder I was itchy.

I immediately started writhing, trying to stop them from sucking my blood, but the more I writh, the itchier my body became.

"I have no blood, I have no blood, you're sucking my useless blood!" I cried out in a panic. Actually, I really had no blood. Maggot blood is like soy milk, not the red blood of ordinary animals.

“Who said you have no blood? It’s just that your blood is white,” one of them said smugly.

“Exactly, whether it’s white blood or red blood, as long as it can feed itself, it’s good blood,” another flea said proudly.

Where did these two fleas come from? They can even say such profound truths. They're sucking my blood right in front of me, and they think it's perfectly reasonable?

I was so angry I didn't know what to say, but my body was so itchy that I could only desperately twist and turn my body in that cramped space.

But those two fleas were like nails stuck to my body, no matter how I moved, they wouldn't fall off. I could only keep banging my body against the straw, but it didn't have much effect.

"Stop moving. The more you understand, the itchier you get. You'd better just let us suck you dry," a flea said smugly.

Damn, this sounds like, "You'd better lie there obediently, and we'll let you go after we're done. If you resist and suffer, you might even lose your life."

I'm so frustrated I could cry. I never imagined I'd be raped, especially by two fleas.

I really want to cry, but I can't. My tears are like the ocean.

Who am I? Am I someone already controlled by fate? How can I so easily give in? So I recklessly rolled around at the bottom of the straw.

As the saying goes, perseverance pays off! After rolling around a few times, I finally managed to shake off those two damned fleas.

I even pinned down that damned flea, making it scream in pain. The other one was luckier; it escaped without being pinned down.

"Damn maggots, release my brother!" one of the fleas that had escaped shouted angrily.

"You think you can just let it go like that? Weren't you enjoying your meal just now?" I yelled angrily. Did they think I was a pushover just because they weren't showing their teeth?

Not only did I not release it, I pressed the flea down even harder.

"Ah..." the flea I was pressing down on cried out in great pain.

"Please let my brother go!" another flea said anxiously after hearing its brother's painful cries.

"If you promise not to suck my blood, I'll let him go." I said immediately, now that I had leverage to negotiate.

"Okay, I promise I'll suck it, now let him go!" the flea brother cried anxiously.

"What guarantees do you have?" I asked, quite skeptical.

"I'm full," the flea said very seriously.

What kind of guarantee is this? But honestly, it's a guarantee that if I'm full, I won't eat you anymore. I really can't find a reason to refute it.
