"Hey, Xiaobai, haven't you heard the saying? In a terrifying situation like this, you absolutely mustn't turn around and look back!" Li Kai calmly walked forward, because he couldn't look back! Otherwise, he'd die!

"Waaah??" Little White tilted its head, indicating that it did not understand, and then there was no more sound, because a white cocoon slowly hung from the ceiling.

"Xiaobai? Why aren't you making a sound?" Li Kai asked, puzzled, looking at Xiaobai who was no longer moving beside him.

It remained quiet, except for the ticking sound.

"Gulp!" Li Kai swallowed hard, his heart pounding in his throat, and slowly turned around to look back. Hey, didn't you say no bricks? You're asking for trouble!

"Huh? There's nothing there!" Li Kai breathed a sigh of relief. There was nothing special behind him except the door. Wait, where's Xiaobai? Didn't you notice?

"Phew, that scared me to death! I thought it was going to be like a horror movie!" Reassured, Li Kai turned his attention back to what was ahead.

"Zizzi!!"

"You can't do this!" Li Kai exclaimed in surprise as he looked at the unexpected guest that had suddenly appeared in front of him. "What a huge spider!"

"Pfft!" A large mouth full of sharp teeth swallowed his head whole, crunchy and satisfying!

This is Li Kai. It turns out all the tropes in horror movies are lies! Turning your head means certain death, and can't you come up with a different way to die?! This is way too gruesome! (P.S.: You could try talking to Spider-Man.)
