"At the same time, the zombie also let out an amazing roar. Its desire for flesh and blood overwhelmed everything else in its heart. It leaped high and pounced on Li Kai's back.

In the blink of an eye, just as it was about to savor the succulent food before it, just as its sharp teeth were about to tear into the juicy flesh, an accident occurred!

"Bang!" A loud crash was heard as the steel door was slammed shut, sharp teeth biting down hard on it in that instant.

"Huh? Was that just a sound?" Li Kai looked at the closed door and wondered, "Was I just imagining things again? I haven't been feeling well lately!"

"Waaaah~~" On the other side of the door, the zombie was writhing in pain, clutching his teeth that were shattered all over the ground. Dude, this is no joke!

"Wow~~ There are two bags of ham! And here, and quite a lot of rice too. Oh? They even have beef jerky!" Li Kai's eyes lit up as he looked at the array of delicious food in the refrigerator. "To have such a feast in one's life, one could die without regrets!"

Well, you're going to die here without regrets again. Why don't you just jump down already!

"Oh, I can't just keep eating. Let's see if there are any usable tools," Li Kai said, stuffing a banana into his mouth while remembering his earlier plan.

"Hmm, let me see. Medicated alcohol? Gauze? Band-Aids? Cold medicine? They don't seem to be of much use to me!" Li Kai rummaged through the medicines in the drawer, feeling he wouldn't really need them. Disinfecting and bandaging wounds seemed to take longer than dying once!

Holy crap, I just heard something incredible, my worldview is about to collapse.

"Forget it, I might as well take them all. We might need them someday." Li Kai waved his hand and pocketed all the items.

"Let's look again, matches, and a lighter! Cigarettes are out of the question, I'm not some bad kid who smokes randomly." Li Kai's gaze fell on the next drawer, and he picked out the items one by one. Was this a junk collector?

"Searching and searching, I found a treasure! I salute you, wave, you're my treasure!" Li Kai hummed a little tune, picking up trash—no, I mean resources. But what's with that childhood-ruining stuff?!

"What a haul! What a haul!" Li Kai exclaimed, carrying a large bag of items as he happily strolled through the bedrooms. "I never imagined that looting could be so fun! I think I understand what it feels like to commit burglary now!"

"Huh? There's a baseball bat here. How strange. I've only ever seen this on TV." Li Kai curiously picked up the bat and swung it back and forth. Hmm, it feels good. It's an essential item for murder, robbery, home life, and travel. Wait a minute, why am I having this thought?

"Alright, all done looting, time to go home." Li Kai looked at the pile of loot in his hands with satisfaction, a sense of fulfillment welling up inside him—a feeling he hadn't experienced in a long time.

"That was awesome!" Li Kai exclaimed joyfully. "I need to come out a few more times!"

"Roar!" The toothless zombie kept rubbing its claws against the iron gate, seemingly trying to tear apart the thing that had broken its teeth.

"Crack!" As the zombies were ravaging the door, a crisp sound came from the other side of the door—the sound of the door opening.

"Huh?" The zombie tilted its head in confusion, its expression revealing bewilderment. Why did this thing move?

"Boom!" Just as the zombie was about to examine the door up close, it felt a gust of wind rush towards it, and a huge force was transmitted directly from the door, which then slammed heavily into the zombie's face. The zombie's entire body, along with the door, crashed into the wall.

"That's strange, did I bump into something?" Li Kai, who had just kicked open the door, looked ahead in confusion. There was nothing there. He was acting strangely today.

With a creak, just as he was about to go upstairs, the zombie's fingers, which had just been knocked unconscious, began to twitch again, a sign that it was about to wake up.

"It's almost noon, let's go home for lunch and continue this afternoon!" Li Kai glanced at the sunlight outside the window; before he knew it, the sun had moved directly overhead.

"Roar!" The zombie, severely injured twice, moved its body with difficulty, slowly but resolutely approaching Li Kai from behind. This is too much! This is intolerable!

"Roar (Die!)" The zombie opened its blood-red maw and bit down hard on Li Kai's neck. Judging from that bite, it would be fatal.

"That scared me to death! I dropped a sausage. I took too many!" Li Kai bent down to pick up the sausage from the ground, looking worried.

"Waaah~~" The zombie covered its mouth and whimpered in pain. The ground was covered with yellow-green teeth. This is ridiculous. Did you really not know I was behind you?

"Okay, this should be fine now." After carefully checking the contents of the bag and finding that nothing had fallen out, Li Kai felt relieved and prepared to get up.

"Roar! (Now!)" The zombie seized the crucial moment with pinpoint accuracy and pounced on Li Kai. Heh heh, you completely unprepared bastard, see if you don't die!

"Snap!" The crisp sound echoed softly in the desolate stairwell.

"Oh, you don't understand~~ Egg, the sorrow of the egg" The sad and melodious tune accompanies the music gently.

"Roar! (No way!)" The zombie clutched its groin in pain, staggering backward. Just as Li Kai stood up, the baseball bat on his back unfortunately stabbed him in that fatal spot. Oh, and I forgot to mention, this was a male zombie.

"Glug!" The tumbling Coke can gracefully appeared behind the zombie, and then...

"Roar!! (This can't be fair, can it?!)" The zombie, stepping on a Coke can, gracefully flipped and leaped over the window, surpassing the limits of life—a perfect pose, without the slightest contact! Ah~ that azure sky, those white clouds. By the way, this is the fifth floor; if it were upside down, it would probably be dead for sure.

"Splat!" The meat sauce on the ground was clearly visible.

"Huh? There's a bottle of Coke on the ground. Why are there footprints on it?" Hearing the loud noise behind him, Li Kai finally turned around. He gently brushed the dust off the Coke and asked in confusion.

I'm a zombie, and the one in front of me is my relative, or more precisely, from a human bloodline perspective. I thought its fate was bad enough, but I never imagined mine would be even worse!
